I am friends with a guy who I currently work with, and I really just don't get him. Its one of the most difficult relationships I've ever had to navigate. The part of his personality that gets me the most I think is that he is always saying example lets do this on Thursday or lets go here on Tuesday or always suggesting to go somewhere and do something. I like him quite a bit, so I am always keen to spend time with him and I so I usually say yeah lets do that or whatever. But I'd say about 80% of the time, he backs out at the last minute or just pretends that he forgot. We work closely together, so he tends to make a lot of suggestions for things we should do in a work capacity as well, and he never seems to really keep up with any of the things he promises there either. Most recently one of things that has annoyed me the most is that he asked me to go to an event on new years with him out of the city. I have really wanted to go to this event for ages, so I said that I would love to go. He said that had already purchased the tickets online (which were really hard to get, because its an extremely popular event). Anyway, as it has gotten closer to new years and I've asked him if he has been sent the tickets yet etc, he keeps telling me that he hasn't got the tickets but his credit card has been charged and he should have received them by now and he has rung the ticket company and they are telling him that they don't know what's going on and that maybe they can give him tickets to next years event instead. Anyhow, it all sounds alot to me like BS, especially given his track record, and he has changed his mind about going. It really quite upsets me that he has done this, especially for NYE, given that I would have gone back to my home state for NYE otherwise to spend time with my friends. Now it seems I will be all by myself instead. I think this is really unfair of him, and quite cowardly that he can’t come out with the truth. Anyway, he has sun opposite Jupiter in his chart. From what I can gather with this aspect it has a bit to do with promising more than you can deliver. I was wondering if anybody has had any experiences with this particular natal aspect that perhaps they could share with me. This person has sun in leo (12th), moon in cancer (11th), virgo rising, venus virgo (conjunct AC), mercury cancer (11th), mars in aries (9th). Hope you guys can maybe help me to understand this alittle more clearly.

I should probably also mention that this individual also has moon opposite jupiter.I am so frustrated, I really don't know how best to handle this relationship. At the moment this person isn't really even wanting to talk to me, and I have no idea if its something I've done or what... Has anybody had any experience with these aspects? IP: Logged |

Could it be a virgo rising/venus thing or cancer moon thing - running hot and cold, breaking promises/dates and not ever telling me why he is annoyed but just hardly talking to me instead?IP: Logged |

The third 12th House Leo Sun case with problems seen in this forum in a week. This aspect creates a lack of confidence. It has nothing to do with Moon opposed to Jupiter. Virgo Rising may create a need for perfection in approach. When the slightest doubt arises, the 12th House Leo Sun lacks the confidence to make things click, and hence walks out of the plan. ------------------ Soul Mate Love Calculator http://tamsoft.co.in/articles.html IP: Logged |

Thanks iQ I always attributed him not wanting to share much of his personal life to his 12th house sun, and also his virgo rising. I guess I didn't really think about how this placement would affect his confidence and ability to carry out his plans, and they are his plans, because most of the time he is the one suggesting stuff. Which I guess is why I found it so strange that he would come up with all these things to do and places to go and then back out. I thought for a while that perhaps he was just playing games with me or something, and wasn't really taking me seriously. But the 12th house sun thing makes alot of sense. I suppose there isn't much I can really do about it, and it is pretty disappointing. But if I choose to maintain a friendship, I guess at least I know what to expect. IP: Logged |

Moon in Cancer, from experience, loves getting even. Chances are you've upset him and this is how he extracts revenge.IP: Logged |

I have Sun 27 Lib in 6th OPP Jup 24 Ari(rx) in 12th. A more unconventional analysis of this situation is that Jupiter was very close to the earth and bright in the sky at the time of my birth. Rising in the east just an hour after sunset. I've read that Jupiter in the 12th is a somewhat...strange aspect..giving me some kind of spiritual luck and guidance. I definitely identify with this. It says I should choose a healing profession or work in mental homes; I am studying medicine and hope to become a Mental Health practitioner. Sun in 6th trine Chiron also seems to be working here. Nevertheless Jupiter in Aries retrograde combined with the 12th house and opposing the Sun... my ego tends to inflate and deflate a lot...and while enthusiastic I tend to bite off more than I can chew.. Jupiter in 12th has been suggested as a "Guardian Angel" aspect by a reputed astrologer.IP: Logged |

I have Jupiter in Leo/11th opposed the Sun & Mars in Aquarius/5th.Its funny that you attribute this aspect to him making plans with you all the time which he flakes on, because I find this always happens to me... so much so... throughout my teens years and such is that I developed a bit of a complex about initiating outing and events that I'm only now getting over (I'm 31). I never attributed this to anything in my chart thought, let alone this aspect in particular. I always felt let down by friends, and specifically, I always felt like I had friends who wouldn't want to do the same things I wanted to do. Or they would say we would do something and i'd be super excited about it and then... they'd flake for various reasons. For me, I find that Jupiter opposed Sun/Mars (in my chart), I alway thought it explained my exuberance and lack of discipline. I find it really hard to focus on things. I'm also very enthusiastic about things i like and I've found it really hard in the past to buckle down and be disciplined about things that are necessary. IP: Logged |

12th house Leo sun that iQ pointed out... the opposite to Jupiter would "exaggerate" any tendencies of the Sun placement. I find that Sun/Jupiter opposition can create a love for extravagance that the native can pride themselves on. Leo Sun, especially would be prone to this imo... perhaps he's always suggesting to go places and do all these great things because he wants to impress you, even if he doesn't have the means to carry those plans out.IP: Logged |
