I wonder if anyone on LL is famous or somewhat famous...and has a chart (& wants to share) that doesnt point to becoming famous in obvious ways, but fame kicked in on a major transit?
Also if anyone who's older in age, who's NOT famous but has a chart showing great potential? I'm curious as to your career, nature vs. nurture & freewill that led you to where you are...and conscious decisions of wanting fame or not.

I've always been pursuing fields related to artistic endeavors, so fame has always been a potential. However I've never felt the desire to achieve the starlet kind of fame. I would like recognition for my work though. The kind that's like say, Pixar's "incredibles," directed by Brad Bird. Everyone's seen it, won 2 oscars, but yet your average person doesnt even know who directed it. LOL
Sadly my MC is taking a major beating from tons of squares cuz I've too many planets in 1H cj Asc. I'm curious as to how that would play out too. I suppose that could also be the reason as to why I'm having to struggle so hard on the work front.

I dont have any planets in my 11th house however, I have read many times that even if you dont have planets in a house, the planet ruling that house is significant.

In my case, Virgo is on the cusp of my 11th and my Mercury is in the 10th house (Virgo) conjunct Venus.

I have this book called Rulers of the Horoscope by Alan Oken and it says "When the ruler of the 11th is in the 10th, an individual seeks to personally embody or represent the society in which he or she lives. This is the perfect position for a political leader, for example, or a man or woman who is aware of social demographics in terms of his or her chosen career...At the least, the ruler of the 11th in the 10th indicates a person who is socially minded and whose career is highly affected by social opinion."

What do you think about that?

With Scorpio as my Ascendant, and Mercury conjunct Venus in my 10th, that means my 10th house holds the rulers for my 7th, 8th, 11th, and 12th houses.

I think whoever was talking about 10th house being about how you use your talents/skills to become famous, and the 11th house is more about becoming famous because of who you are associated with like Paris Hilton is correct.

mars(action/sexuality(scorp)) has made me famous for flirting arnd(scorp jupe) in my neihbourhood(3H) with masses(11H-many guys)

I think it might rather indicate what you are known for / or seen as in your social circle and maybe expanding this a bit.
It could be just your circle of friends, or through your social and caritative involvement or it could be about broader publicity.

I have Uranus on the cusp on the 11th house in Scorpio.
Uranus rules 3rd house.
I am definhitely "known" for my rather unusual hobbies like astrology and for communicating about it.

What is not great is the ruler of 11th being retrograde as these may be severely delayed or denied.

Although the 11th house is about group activity and being supported by networks, fame is rules by the 10th house which is about social status and achievements. I would also take a look at aspects involving the Sun, Uranus and Jupiter.
