Preferably Moon in Aries or Leo i s'pose. Anywhere really. Just not in Capricorn and obviously not in Virgo. Venus in Cancer is nice, or Leo, or Scorpio near my Mars. There are lots of potentially good placements.

2 of them had Mars in Leo. The last one had it at exactly 0 degrees! Otherwise not much Fire.

I'm not surprised..

Do u know what's happening?

Because you have LOTS of fire and no earth and only one air.. you're probably attracting people with not much fire .. and a predominance in earth/air.

Earth + air (and no fire) = cold

quote:
Yes but Saturn is in detriment in Cancer, and the Moon is in detriment in Capricorn!

So you're both slightly f-ed up? So what?

This particular aspect is a positive in my book and could be mutually healing.

quote:
The Moon sign definately f*cked it.

I don't believe it..

Yeah i hear what you're saying. You make alot of sound judgements. The mutually healing bit was insighful.

I like your new nick hihihi

i can help you with the Venus retro,i have this myself, and it is not an easy aspect,i must say...

"* reconsiders before expressing love or affection
* relates awkwardly to others
* doubts the love others offer
* can become obsessed in relationships
* feels let down by the commitment level of others
Venus involves pleasure, love, romance, relaxation, aesthetics, peaceful feelings, harmony, money, and values. Venus tends to work by attraction. Approximately every eighteen months or so, Venus slips into retrograde for about six weeks. While Venus is retrograde, you are more likely to find your ability to attract what you want restricted or inhibited. You could find yourself much more concerned with achieving or maintaining external beauty, your flow of ready cash, questioning your ideas of pleasure, aesthetics, or even revaluating your feelings about romantic relationships.
Do you find yourself inhibited about seeking what you really want from your romantic partner? Does your ability to attract the money and attention you feel that you need seem to cause you problems? Is your natal Venus retrograde?

A natal Venus retrograde can cause you difficulty achieving fulfillment or finding your right romantic partner. You may be more in love with your ideas about love than you are with any real person you know. In karmic terms, you need to complete a life lesson about giving and receiving love and affection. You are here to determine what is truly of value to you and learn about creating a balance of give and take in your romantic life. Your romantic dialogue has a tendency to be far too internal at times, causing you to inhibit the flow of good things into your life. You will have to be willing to experience loving and being loved in order to attract what you desire into your life and create the feelings of security you need."

Predominatelyfire,
Hey man, I want to first say hello to you, since I dont think I have spoken with you on here before.
But I am currently dating a Gemini Venus, and Gemini Moon, and I have to tell you that. They are difficult people. I personally am a combination of Fire predominately as well. Perhaps thats why I was drawn to say something to you.
Its not so much that I have observed the Gemini traits to be difficult, so I shouldnt say that, rather it brings to mind a deer. A Gemini Venus first and foremost is "Venus" with all her qualities that are posted above, and just like every human, they too are looking for love in some form.
The thing is though when you are giving someone love you cannot expect it back in return. Love is a gift. A gift that you give to someone freely, and look to the Universe to return your love. Not your partner. This involves loving yourself. Something I think we all struggle with.
But I find being in love with a Gemini Venus and Moon to be a very high order of such. They cannot be tied down, they have to be socially active, love is not something they feel intially it grows for them, the way to there heart is through there mind, or they will find someone else who stimulates to share there bed with and it takes them time to intellectualize love, because the love they crave has no boundaries, so they cannot be expected to stay around and let you pet them. This is part of there attraction I think. Its sort of like feeding a baby deer that has been orphaned, it needs the nourishment and so takes it willingly. One day eventually it realizes that you will not hurt and it and allows you to pet it, but you can never quite tame it.
Does every deer come to that realization. No. Some never let you pet it, depends on its personality or how long its been in the wild. The same with a Gemini Venus, it depends on there other personal planets, as to how this energy is intergrated in them. But there is always that chance....Love em, Love em not, Love em, Love em not.lol.....sometimes I half think they like that game more than any other sign...and being predominantly fire I know you thrive on chances, luck and fantasy are what make our worlds go round.

Whatever the case, it always boils down to Soul Maturity and Awareness, we can either show people the good side of our Energy or the dark side, it just depends own how well we know our Energy.. So many factors....really there is no need to dislike them so strongly though or to blame them. As an Energy Gemini was created for a reason, and the Energy itself was created perfectly no matter how humans display it... remember you chose this life and its experiences to help you grow..... you are only setting yourself up for the Universe to bring a Gemini in Venus Soulmate into your world that will totally steal your heart and make you eat your words. lol . But hey maybe thats what you want....Fire likes air after all. lol Makes us burn hotter! lol

Cool post oneruledbymars. I agree with your analogy totally. I wish i could have been a cooler customer like i was 10 years ago and this babe would have been mine. Mind you she wanted sex with me all the time 10 years ago, but this time was ultra guarded. Maybe someone better's coming along anyway.

That's the spirit matey. My philosophy is the same.

Live, learn, love & embrace everything good the Universe wants to give you. It helps when we let go of the steering wheel though. Are you game?

So....

Does that mean you are willing to release everything you have been striving for? Will you take a deep breath & leap off the cliff?

Go on, I dare you.

I wouldn't mind doing that. But it's not in the interests of my spirit to do so, since i'd just be reborn with the same debt i left with. I feel i have to be 'of service' while i'm here to release me from these shackles as it were. Hence i give nearly £100 per month by direct debit to animal charities, among other things. Well that's not 'why' i do it. I do it out of love. But i also understand the positive repercussions of selfless acts. I also spread the word alot about not eating animal ingredients, and have publically made many a chef want to seriously hurt me.

lol, I didn't mean literally.

Thank God for Sag's! In their company I feel quite sane, lol.

What I meant was releasing the drive to find that 'someone' to fill the gaping hole. It's hard, trust me I know. Give it up to God or who or what ever you believe in to bring you & her together at the right time etc.

What I am intrigued about is what have you done to these poor little chef people?

EDIT

Apologies for my editing. My morning coffee has failed me. ******* .

PredFire.. I would sum up the dark side of Retrograde Venus as pure narcissism.

Coincidentally you are not the first person I hear describing an individual with R Venus as non-human. I hear it every day about a particular person in my family who is entirely removed from others and extremely detached.

Diandra - there's a flip side to everything, you are no cold-blooded crocodile in my book.. you seem nice.
I'm only saying that the absolute WORST way for this Venus to play out is an appearance of "cold-bloodedness" coupled with narcissist tendencies.

:edit: PF - I just saw you mention how you paid for everything (on the other thread). I know you think Cap Moon women are money grabbing wh0res & I enforced it as a joke.
But I really didn't mean a word of that ^
I do have a Sag ex, but he hasn't paid for much and I def. don't keep him around as an endless money supply.

I make my own money. I'm happy with the money I have. The only people that seem to always pay for me are Leo sun men.. because they get into arguments with me, if I don't let them (& I don't like embarrassing scenes in the middle of a coffee-shop or restaurant). Other than that I usually split bills.

I am reading this thread and while I love gem venus, guess what?
The most enticing and magnetic guy I was ever with had a cap moon like me, quadruple cancer- sun, merc, etc., AND gem venus sextile leo mars. Came to find that I was only one of at least three gf's, one after the other, all while he was very secretly married to a very pregnant wife. Pluto and neptune aspects to venus. Ate me for lunch. I feel you on this one.

I think you need to look at the rest of the placements. I have venus in gemini, but tons of cancer in my chart, and I am very sweet and tender, not cold at all.
I dated a guy with capricorn moon, sun in virgo and sag ascendant and he was really cold.

I think it's the combo of Earth Sun & Moon. It's no wonder you didn't catch pneumonia.
