Hi Knowflakes,I'm wondering if any of you have relationships where one person's North Node conjuncts the other person's Ascendant? All that I've read on this aspect says that the North Node person will stick "like glue" to the Ascendant person, and the bond is unshakable, even when circumstances make one person to want to walk away. There can be a sense of "fatedness" about whole relationship and it's a very enduring tie. I have this aspect with a friend in my life, and this is the first concrete explanation I have found for why I feel so tied to him, no matter what the roller-coaster life takes us through together. So far, I've met a person with whom I have this aspect (there could be more, although I don't know everyone's birth time). It is my NN and her AC, and she's a friend of a friend of mine. We only met sometimes, but I sensed certain familiarity and positiveness when being with her, even thought she's a double water and I'm a double Aries (only our ACs are compatible in the big three).I also know two friends who shares this aspect. They don't have any romantic feelings for each other, but are very close friends. Also, the AC person seems to be the one sticking to the NN person more often, but the NN person have learned valuable lessons through the AC person. IP: Logged |

I dont think Ive met you, so nice to meet ya.  This is an awesome aspect to have in a relationship of any kind. What sign is it in?
Are there any aspects to it from your personal planets or theres?
That helps you narrow down the nature of the energy you share with this person in that connection. Oh and I have an Aries Sun and Virgo Asc....so I was wondering what your combination is because of your handle. IP: Logged |

I'm a Virgo ascendant and just met very recently, a South Node Virgo Hypnotherapist, and yes it felt very fated, as if we are to heal one another by our shared experiences.IP: Logged |

Cool, thanks for the feedback everyone It makes perfect sense to me that the Ascendant person is sticking with the NN person to teach them.Mermaid26, I checked out the Blog you mentioned, thanks! Comica23, it's very neat that you have this familiarity with your friend, and it's so valuable to have someone you can really be yourself with. Oneruledbymars, it's nice to meet you as well  The conjunction is in Aries, his NN to my rising. My Jupiter closely sextiles his NN as well. His Venus closely sextiles the NN/Ascendant combo.
My Sun is in Virgo, Aries Asc, and I've found my fire energy comes out full-swing to make me a distinctly untypical Virgo (you could also chalk that up to my Leo Moon/Venus). IP: Logged |

My SN is cnj my SO's Asc. He immediately felt familiar to me. I've grown more in this relationship than any other, which fits with my NN on his Dsc. It's through being his partner that I've grown, since I had to work past some issues of mine for this relationship to work. I'll flip it and guess that if my NN were on his Asc instead, him simply being who he is would've inspired me to grow. My SN on his Dsc would've shown that being his partner required no major changes in who I am, so the relationship would've felt easy and natural from the start. Just realized that my NN on his Dsc really fits with us having some hard squares in our Composite! Maybe give your Composite a look to see how the synastry energies are focused. IP: Logged |

I have a DW of NN Asc ascpect with my guy. His NN conj my Asc 3 degrees 38 min and my NN trines his Asc at 2 degreees. He broke up with me once and then came back and I broke up with him that time. He said he was not ready the first time and it looked like he was not ready the 2nd time either so I broke up.
i have not been able to get him out of my mind and am going to go for him this Sunday. I want to talk to him and see if he will talk like grown ups do and not avoid all forms of communication.
