I have a Jupiter Singleton in Fire(Leo). The rest of my chart is water and air. I am not sure how Singletons work. How does the element feel to you is what I am getting at. I never even knew I HAD fire until an astrologer told me he could see it in me. I appreciate all comments! Thanks Ami

My Cappy Venus is a singleton, as she is the only one in Earth. Not sure what that means. I do feel very attracted to men with Sun or Mars in Cappy though. Hmm, maybe this Venus is responsible for me being rather withdrawn and untypically careful, at least if you consider that my Sun, Mercury, Mars and ASC are all in Sag. Sun conjunct Mercury in 1st house; Mars in 12th house conjunct ASC. (even though ASC and Mars are conjunct Neptune, too). IP: Logged |

Ami - singletons are highly noticeable imo You say you have a "lack of fire" sometimes... With a fire singleton, you don't fall in "lack of fire" category. I didn't remember this about your chart, otherwise I would've mentioned it earlier. That's the same with PDF - he has a singleton Pluto in air... that's not "lack of air".. That's an emphasized Pluto in *air*. IP: Logged |

My Pluto might be a fixed singleton - but I doubt it, since I think I have a Taurus Venus. But Pluto is still a singleton in the social signs and houses.. This is interesting because in serious relationships - I end up with a combination of those signs..(Leo-Virgo-Libra-Scorp). Guy 1: Leo Sun Virgo Venus (Pluto & Uranus) Scorpio Mars and AC Guy 2: Leo AC Scorpio Venus and Uranus Libra Saturn and Jupiter Guy 3: Libra Sun & Venus Scorpio Mercury (Saturn and Pluto) Virgo Mars Guy 4: Libra Sun & Mars Scorpio Mercury & Venus (& Pluto) Leo Moon IP: Logged |

Air Venus singleton in Gemini....like I said, Im still trying to figure out how exactly it works. I have theories though. Its a social planet so it might add to the overall theme to my chart (which is, feeling socially isolated). The only way it actually freely expresses itself is my taste in clothes. Its in the 5th house so its fun colors and catching patterns for me. IP: Logged |

I thought singletons were planets who had no major aspects to other major objects or points?------------------ Official Conor's Feeding Machine! IP: Logged |

Yeah, I'm all confused! The article above doesn't talk about what a singleton is... it goes on about other things. I just want a straightforward, direct explanation of it PLEASE???!!! lol!As for lacking an element in a chart...I've noticed people overcompensate for what they are missing. The most 'emotional' people I know are those without water in their chart. IP: Logged |

If it's one planet in a sign or house I have either only moon (sign) as a singleton or moon and pluto (house) as singletons.I'm rightly confused now. ------------------ Official Conor's Feeding Machine! IP: Logged |

An unaspected planet is one that does not have aspects or attachments to other planets. I have an unaspected Venus. You can't feel the energy of the planet unless another person aspects your unaspected planet. Then, you get the energy mirrored back to you and you can feel it(if I am right?????)A Singleton is a planet that stands alone in some way. It could be the only one in a sign or perhaps alone in other ways such as on one side of the chart alone. The article talks about all the ways a planet can be a Singleton but I have not figured out yet LOL Ami IP: Logged |

I actually get a lot of vibes from my unaspected Jupiter. Then again, it rules my rising...But in my experience, my unaspected Jupiter seems to be in its raw form, going absolutely wild because there aren't any aspects to, say, Saturn to tone it down or aspects to other objects to give it some steering or combine powers. ------------------ Official Conor's Feeding Machine! Another word for unaspected is paregrine as well. I have a 5th house peregrine sun. Peregrine planets do tend to take over the chart through the house they are in. Yes, when I get aspects to my Sun, I am very happy. Even 'bad' aspects are ok with me in synastry on my sun.I guess maybe I have a Jupiter singleton (Jupiter Aqua). 1) It's the only planet 'above the horizon' in the 10th house, conjunct my MC. and 2) It's the apex planet of my T-square. I think between my peregrine sun and the Jupiter singleton/T-square, there's a lot of energy. On top of that it's a FIXED square...so it's quite strong. Thanks for clarifying, Ami.

Right then, I have Jupiter peregrine and Moon definitely twice singleton, Pluto once (house) - apparently, from what I can read into the articles, you can have a planet with up to three times singleton statute... hmm, I wonder what the third "singleton" is... Element? Or is it singleton: sign/element/quality? I wonder how rare it is to have only one planet in for example a positive sign.------------------ Official Conor's Feeding Machine! IP: Logged |

I have Mars in Aquarius singleton, the only air sign planet in my chart. I have some prominent martian qualities I think. I don't know how much a singleton in a chart affects someone but lately I've discovered the Mars effect on myself. http://www.astrologyclub.org/articles/singletons/mars/mars.htm IP: Logged |
