Wow, MVM, that is impressive. I am a newbie, here. I want to add a few more things to see if you can put them with the others. I have Venus in Gemini in the 7th house. I have eros in Taurus in the 7th house. Also, and I know it is a lot, in synastry, his chart ruler, the moon, conjuncts my chart ruler Pluto in Leo. If you could put that together, I would be eternally grateful lol Ami

Ami, your 10th house is ruled by Leo, the Sun. Conjunct Pluto. I would venture that this adds some Plutonian flavor to your own essence, even to your sun sign. I would think Pluto contacts would be important to you. As would stuff to your Venus in general...anything 'of weight' would be like a slower-moving planet to your Venus, adding importance, even grounding your Venus.EDIT.... ok, you just posted it lol IP: Logged |

Is your Mercury well-aspected in the relationship, Ami? Does it get heavy aspects, for better or worse? It sounds like it's toward the end of the 7th house, so maybe it's even conjunct the 8th house cusp which would be even more significant. If the dispositor of your Venus is also Mercury, that would mean Mercury is also very important to you since you have so much Gemini stuff going on, but it's also mainly 8th house. That would make you even more Plutonian in relationships I think! IP: Logged |

WHAT is the depositer of Venus? What does that term mean--in the context of this discussion? Thank you again for putting up with my beginner status

Dispositer is the ruler of the planet. Gemini is ruled by Mercury... hmm, let me show you a quick link which will explain it better than I could: http://www.aquariuspapers.com/astrology/2006/07/astrology_class_1.html I hope that makes sense EDIT: That link is a little confusing lol This is more straightforward: http://www.skyscript.co.uk/gl/dispositor.html IP: Logged |

"Now ,do you see why he can make me cry at the drop of a hat lol?"...uhh....yeah! lol. And double whammys are weighty, so wow! I think Mercury/Venus is very important to you as is Sun/Mercury... add the Pluto trine Venus and that's some Lovin' with a capital 'L' IP: Logged |

quote: I think an unaspected Venus does not know how to love . They are blocked in feeling their own love nature. It feels like a blank. It sounds sociopathic and maybe it is.
I strongly disagree.... especially since Venus is not love itself, but the expression of it.

Thank you, MVM. I think I understand what you were getting at. Pluto is the dispositer of my Mercury cuz Mercury is in the 8th house(Scorpio/Pluto's house) Is this what you meant? Ami

I think BM is right...Venus is love expression. Venus was also, in myth, never really known for her fidelity or loyalty lol. There was a great article somewhere here about how Venus is how we negotiate love socially, while the Moon is how we receive love and give it.... I'll try to find it. EDIT: Ami, I think so... I'm about to have lunch since my brain just stopped working IP: Logged |

Um, I don't know about astrology but I always thought fear of intamacy had to do with fear of one's own sexuality/desires/ect...o.oI think knowing one's self sexually is very important in order to be intimant with others. Plus it is so much fun exploring your desires, such as what turns you on and knowing what you want heh heh<3 But yeah I have Venus Rx and Mars trine Saturn IP: Logged |

From my chart and experiences... I have an exact Venus/Uranus conjunction with Saturn a couple of degrees away...all opposite Chiron. yugh! I also have a moon in Cap which I think adds to that. The former seems to be more about femininity, beauty, comfort with the body...my Uranus there feels super idealistic to the point that nothing tangible can match my flights of fantasy and makes me want to stay away from the real stuff. Saturn there also adds to the feeling but adds a tone of inadequacy and insecurity. Chiron opposite all that makes me very defensive/protective about those feelings, more than willing to keep the guard up. I think the Moon in Cap supports that, and adds the dimension of refraining from emotional display. IP: Logged |
