Very good thread considering Venus is Retrograde. In terms of settling karmic Debts, working in any form of the adult industry is a way of releasing several levels of karmic debts by pleasing different connected people in a quick way. Then, there are huge karmic risks too. The sex addict who infects a desperate prostitute earns tons of negative debts. Why the change in attitude of 30 plus ladies? When a big release of karma from Saturn Return occurs, and the "void" is not filled with positive energy, there is a tendency to fall back into old habits of earlier lifelines. Prostitution in the elite clientele levels can satisfy the urge to be seductive or to be close to powerful men, such urges having been suppressed till age 30. Progressed aspects to Pluto can thus throw some light on the behavior change. The trapped young girls are all victims of abuse. Such cases will have clear cut Nessus and Mars afflictions in charts. ------------------ Astrology Articles New Services and short readings IP: Logged |

I know that morality is a relative matter and moral norms differ from society to society.. but at least in the Western world a majority of people would consider that exchange of energy immoral and abusive. Also, I agree that the world is fluid, that spirituality is fluid and in a sense everything is part of everything else.. and everything just IS energy deep down…. But there still seems to be a means to this madness… It is not an entirely uncoordinated/chaotic mess, where everything goes.
I'm talking about adults and consent here. I highly doubt that an animal is 'consenting, so I'm not sure I can get on board with a comparison to beastiality. Also, when it comes to morality, everyone is different. My point was that *despite* what people believe personally/morally, there are different ways to look at situations. It's not all black and white. Edited to add: My whole post was about consenting adults, not in *any* way about those individuals (children or adults) who are being forced to do something they do not want to do. I was speaking in regards to the nature of the OP's thread.

As long as you're not hurting others why restrict your self.
Thanks, Geminisquared. I appreciate that, actually. I'm a fan of the Hippocratic oath: first, do no harm. (I'm also becoming a bigger fan of, 'physician, heal thyself.') I wouldn't engage in certain things, behaviours, or industries because of the closer proximity to knowing that someone was bound to get hurt. Which is why I'm just not a proponent of the adult industry - personally - even as I see it serves a purpose. After all of this wandering about in Wonderland, I was ready to come home, and back to my roots: astrology, spirituality, and creative expression. I'm a LOT happier this way, too. Though I'm very, very glad to have had (and / or made) the opportunity to help the people I did. I'll never regret that. I just wish I could have helped more - but that's a feeling that's never fully satisfied. There are ALWAYS more. Can't save the world. It's useless to try. -A.

<3<3<3 And, God, YOU'VE been there through it ALL. Oddly enough, you're the one who's ALWAYS said to me how I have the 'craziest life'. Or, 'only you, Aub.' Maybe you hit a kind of event horizon where the bizarreness just seems normal. I agree, though; finally being out here in Hollyweird, I feel a -little- less insane, and able to finally DO something with everything I seem to've collected. I'm really, really touched, BTW, with what you've said. I call it running my mouth. I'm glad when it sometimes results in art. I'm very, very grateful for that. <3 -A.
