You have pointed out extra Cancer/Libra dynamics for me to consider and I think it is interesting that you say the synastry "works" because Cancer/Libra seem to be on the same page as far as marriage etc goes on the surface yet Linda says they are the most difficult square of the zodiac... I don't know... I have a billion thoughts about that topic.

Yes, and usually I do adore Gemini but I do worry about the "fickle", yet he is Cancer/Taurus... and he has the cell phone packed with a million contacts, yet he decided to go with a land line to get away from the cell phone and get "back to basics" etc... he is just a bunch of contradictions so I wonder if it will just keep me on my toes or drive me crazy. MM,wow, thank you. I didn`t know that you were reading my posts.  I like reading yours. Cause I "sense" you as such a tender, loving soul.
And for some reason reading what you wrote here makes me believe, that love really does exist (I didn`t really doubt it, but sometimes I like a confirmation of my thoughts ). And I do not need astrology to sense the emotional closeness there is between you. IP: Logged |

Mel, that is very sweet of you. I don't think I am a great astrologer at all! I am so grateful for coming here to LL knowing barely anything, and learning from a LOT of others...and just assimilating it. But most of my insights are really just from my gut. The placements are like tarot cards to me. They're symbolic, and that's it.

Well, girls, so much for our added hope in the possibility of real love... at least in this situation. He was all crabby Fri night and says he was tired, which I can understand because of his work shift but I can't really understand his varied hours so I never know when he is tired etc until he states he is tired and going to bed. But things didn't go well with us at all. I didn't understand why he didn't want to spend some time with me until he grumped at me about being tired and then I was hurt so I said all timidly and gently that I had just been looking forward to seeing him... I was just sharing my truth as a gift to him even if it was hard to say... and he got upset and mentioned all the other times he spent time with me. It's a common male/female argument in that the man feels unappreciated for what he DOES do when he feels he's trying so hard etc and the woman is just innocently sharing thoughts/feelings to get closer. I understand that, yet at the same time he's not looking as spiritual and enlightened and sensitive as he was in first light. I know that's to be expected, but we kind of have this negative energy in between us right now and I'm not sure if we will pull out of it. That Cancer/Libra square is just so difficult. Something that seems like a wonderful challenge when I'm feeling up and good about life, and something that seems like an insurmountable and irritating burden when I'm feeling low on energy.
So, yah, so much for my loving/romantic weekend. ♥

This is not just astrological - this is Male/Female stuff as you've mentioned.
It sounds like he felt guilty and went to on try and defend himself (as usual as many men tend to do because they take female expression which isn't always smiling/happy as unhappiness which they need to immediately 'fix'...SIGH). My ex husband and I had the exact same argument you're talking about here right before we married. I hated not that I couldn't see him, but that he made it seem as though I were clingy, even though he was the one who had made the plans and broke them, and I just went, Awww that's too bad, I was looking forward to seeing you (he took it as a guilt trip - a true sign of his own guilt which he was projecting). Maybe just take it as grumpy tiredness on his end because that's all it sounds like to me  ...

MM,sorry to hear about your spoiled weekend.  But I agree with MVM, it sounds like he really was just overworked and tired.
It doesn`t mean he doesn`t like you. I really cannot imagine that.

I just don't know... I would like to remain friends with him if we don't work out as more, but right now I am feeling a little "ick" about the whole thing. He just seems really intolerant really fast... if it really is that he is tired and I made a mistake in understanding the situation I can understand that, but it is also becoming pretty obvious to me that there will be severe problems in communication for whatever reason. I mean, even if it was %100 my fault (which I don't think it is) then if he's so wise and enlightened, why wouldn't he deal with me with more understanding and patience knowing I was confused or low on energy? I guess the answer to that is that he was tired. Oh, I just get annoyed typing about it!
Thank you for your positive outlook, MVM and DD. I guess we will probably end up as friends at any rate so I will just give whatever energy this is some time to disperse.

I took a look at the composite again because of the Neptune thread and I saw ALL THAT RED. The composite is just full of squares, oppositions... just tense/challenging aspects. I guess I was just hoping for a Miracle of God to create an astrological miracle giving me the partnership that was maybe not perfect, but 'perfect for me' type of thing. That's what I kept thinking when I would study a certain "challenging" aspect.

Just for everyone interested...How funny that we are both actors and our actor asteroids play heavily in our Synastry and our Composite.There were a couple of things that grabbed me... For instance My moon Neptune Conjunction works almost like Moon in Pisces...and his Sun is in Pisces...
His Taurus Moon kind of relates to my sun...and is just outside of a conjunction.
Technically I dont consider that strong Sun and Moon Connections...of course our Draco is a different story.
There trined and opposed exactly. Whats more...
There is so much going on Energy wise...look how many
DW.....
And our Composite Moon, Sun, and Mercury are in Pisces...its a relationship of two spiritually evolved people...no doubt about it.

Ok first things first, what grabs me is the Sun and Venus in the 7th house, as well as the Mercury and Jupiter.
He speaks your love language on so many different levels your probably have lost count... Which is good, its time you lost count.
You Psyche Asteroids are opposed...yours conjuncting your SN aong with his Jupiter and Merc.and his Psyche conjuncting your NN....
That gives you somewhere to go wth with this spiritually Mel...he can handle you because he sees a bigger picture...your many Mels to him...not just one and so that gives you room to grow based on which alter you are working on at any given moment....its like Avatar when they say I see you....well he SEES you.
His DNA conjunct Pluto....is very special.
Does he look young...ask him if he has made any attempts to redo his DNA...does it interest him...has his life been full of the kind of twists and turns that makes one feel like they have died and been resurrected...each time better and stronger though.
Whatever the case...there is your Vertexs as well..and with Psyche and DNA involved you clearly both know your relationship is fated and you are both ok with it.. to let it does its thing.
Alot of fourth house for him...you make him feel safe and secure...

Well both of your Vertexes were activated. And so is your Valentine Asteroids... but it is him more than you. You feel like the "one" for him.To you he is more comfort. Lots of Fourth houe from you to him and your moon falls in his 7th...its all about the past for you with him....so good call Mel. And talk to the the guy who you knew then.....you can use this guy to explore all the different alters you have moved through this lifetime and do one final karmic sweep. The only danger here is not allowing Saturn to strir your insecurities or Pluto to stir up your fears.

i hope that whatever happens,it is for your best sake.well it always is cause "everything is always as it should be".but that chart,like ORBM said,seems so nice. i know cancers dear Mystic.they are not that easy,but once he commits he will not let you go.it is like he commits like if he has already said the words! till death do us apart". so...if love is there,the right moment will come.to both of you share your deepest truths. maybe a buttong was pushed,when you both argued.cancers never forget the things that hurt them.it goes on for years.if you pulled that little button.well prepare yourself to know much of what it goes inside him,one of these days. Is "Bobby", Bonadea?I am planning on "using" the ex to explore my youth and old memories, Mars... in a loving and nostalgic way. I need to start a new thread to explore the things that have been happening... not the bad things but the strange and synchronistic things. I don't know if I can wrap my mind around them enough to write about them but I'll try. Gonna start a thread in Soul Unions. I don't know... the Cancer guy seems not to be that into me. It might just be a Cancer thing but it really annoys me and turns me off. I thought he was super cool at first and now I wonder if he's a temper tantrum thrower and selfish and ... well, a lot of negative things. I'm really turned off. I told him in the mail when I said we should start over as friends that he could call me when he felt up to a walk at a park or something (not too tired from work meaning) and he messaged back that I was probably right and "we should try" (to start over as friends) and I haven't heard from him since. I think it would be weird even if we did make plans. I must admit I feel a little bitter and annoyed still. I don't even know why I feel that way. It wasn't that bad really. I really do think it's because he reminds me so much of my Mom. (Cancer with Virgo moon)
