There's some significant nodal action, her NN is conj his Saturn, her SN conj his Moon. Natally he's primed with the Moon/Saturn for wanting a fated serious karmic relationship and his opp landing on her nodes points to that, in part. Bonded, didn't want to let go, he seems like a child with this one, being called to her over and over. With that opp she gets both a sense of feeling at home, with the Moon/SN, but also a sense of being pushed to grow w.the Saturn/NN conj. Very fated. Adding importance is the fact that his Moon/Saturn rule his nodes. To be connected to her nodes, and in Pisces, and with his sad Saturn in Pisces, the poor thing he prob did want someone to take away his pain.Her Moon on his MC, for a man to me this is saying this is what home/love from a woman should feel like, this is the ideal.
His NN gets a conj from her Mars/Neptune, maybe emphasizing a fantasy quality he believes her to possess. Might be a play on the idealistic Saturn Pisces/Pisces NN conj they have above. Also her Neptune is her NN ruler. So both of them now have their NN rulers conj a node of the other.
His unaspected Venus squares her Neptune, again with this fantasy element, this idealisation.
Natally his Mars is opp Neptune so anyway he's primed again for this fantasy element falling into his love life, in her he sees his reflection with her with the conj, esp falling on his NN.
His Mars sq her Venus for some fervent attraction. It conj her Jupiter as well so she's like this generator for his sexuality, always will be counted on to turn him on. Venus sq Uranus for fascination. Her Jup conj his Uranus too, there's an element of excitement, of new possibilities opening up with her. But her Jup is opp his Neptune, this shows Neptune playing Jupiter, living somewhere in between, Neptune can't quite face up to day to day reality with another.
His natally afflicted Saturn in synastry only receives 2 trines from her planets, and one of them is from Neptune, the one that says your Saturn Pisces dreams can be realized with me, the other from Mars which says this one isn't going anywhere, we will be able to work it out.
But his afflicted Moon gets a sq from her Saturn (conj his Pluto) this one by 2 deg, this one says he's not going to get the love he wants for the rest of his life with her, that he'll have to settle for doing without. His natal Moon/Saturn/Pluto is primed for denial, for hoping and maybe never receiving as much real love/affection as he'd want.
His Pluto is sq her nodal axis exact, another planet with a fated quality, falling in her 2nd there's a feeling of not wanting to let go of her. The fact that his Pluto is sq his Moon natally just amps up this intense longing he has emotionally (Moon/Saturn/Pluto) for that one true sense of home to sustain him, and like above it ties into her nodes.
They both have grand trines in elements that are not strong in the partner's chart.
