could something in the natal indicate this trait more likely in people? probably not, but i noticed fairly often, people with sag placements in their chart have teeth like this. IP: Logged |

My ex-husband, a Sag, had horse teeth. My daughter is Capricorn and her teeth are slightly off so far... I've been watching and wondering how her adult teeth will turn out.

saturn rules the teeth. So, it, in bad aspect with AC or ruler could indicate this. IP: Logged |

Dear Letram When you call a Saturn "afflicted"--what does that entail? Thanks! Ami ------------------ To will to be the self which one truly is,is indeed, the opposite of despair. IP: Logged |

I have 4 planets in Sag, Saturn ruler of my 8th square 3 of my planets in Sag... my teeth are completely straight (never had braces). They are so straight people think I had braces. Only issue I have is a slight over bite... IP: Logged |

Too much teeth is caused by not removing your molars in your teens; I did. IP: Logged |

hmm Capricorn & Saturn are connected to teeth. When Saturn is emphasized in your chart (I think yours is dignified Letram?) and also when you have planets in Capricorn ----- you can either have very strong teeth, strong bones, strong joints etc.. or you can encounter serious problems in these areas. (I know in this thread you are asking specifically about crooked teeth -- but there are bigger tooth problems, and bone/joint related problems people can encounter). It can go either way depending on how "correctly" you take care of your teeth and your body. With Saturn/Cap it's all about doing everything "correctly" - to the book: i.e. Brushing correctly, doing a certain amount of exercises weekly, getting enough calcium, seeing your dentist regularly and so forth. If 10 people took this kind of generic advice ^ lightly, and one of them had strong Cap placements/or Saturn influence.. he/she is the most likely to end up with chronic problems that will require as much time to resolve, as they required to kick-start. The other 9 - will happily carry on disobeying these "rules" - and they'll be none the wiser. I'll give you an example - My Capricorn uncle works in IT and sits at his computer for hours daily. I have told him on many occasions and so have other people to STRETCH and not sit for prolonged periods. Every hour you are meant to stretch. It is unhealthy to sit constantly for ages. Now he has disk related problems and he has to do physio and some other things which will help gradually in time. I know other people who have made the same mistakes and don't have problems that come close to his own. Saturn is a very "punishing" planet. I am very careful with a lot of things now because I think I should start good habits now, while I'm young. I have a stellium in Cap myself. IP: Logged |

I do not know what placements I have that would affect teeth/jaw, but I inherited a genetic condition in which no amount of dental hygiene nor good habits would have made a difference. My jaw is being reabsorbed by my body resulting in loss of perfectly good teeth. The bones in the rest of my body are oddly, abnormally dense and strong. My chart here: IP: Logged |

LEXX - You have a Capricorn Ascendant ruled by Saturn (which is closely conjunct your Sun). So the Capricorn theme should ring true for you. Saturn is also connected to karma, to the past, to father figures, sometimes to grandparents.. (Is this problem inherited from your father's side of the family?) In your case, I think the problem is worse because Saturn is in a T-square with everything else.. which shows a lot of tension. Usually I find Saturnian problems are fixable slowly & gradually, in time. But with Saturn afflicted, things could get more complicated. IP: Logged |

Dy-na-mi-tee Thank you! Yes, my father, my grandfather, my great grandfather, and his wife, my great paternal grandmother all had/have this condition. They might be able to try bone grafts if it continues, but financially that is not an option.

OK when you use the word afflicted could it mean an opposition and a square or does it have to be MORE like a T square? Thanks so much Ami ------------------ To will to be the self which one truly is,is indeed, the opposite of despair. IP: Logged |

LEXX I accidentally neglected to mention - you also have a Capricorn North Node. The Nodes are Karmic points. NN is the point you are supposed to be moving towards in this life time. I'm not sure whether you have already read about this. I remember you saying you're not very familiar with astrology. This is the best site I found so far on the Nodes..[I'll find it in a sec and get back] because it offers interpretations of the Node and house combined (For you this is: Capricorn NN in the 1st house). Ami Ann,the word "afflicted" in regards to Astrology is kinda archaic and it really depends on the system being used when astrologers use that term, they are mainly referring to a planet that has numerous hard aspects keep in mind that t-squares are known to be common configurations in the charts of successful people
Uranian Astrologers and Cosmobiologists look at mainly the hard aspects that include the conjunction, opposition, square, semisquare, sesquiquadrate
They only use those aspects with midpoints so it's all relative

That chart somewhat reminds me of Nostradamus' birth chart except he had every single planet in Capricorn and Cancer except for two.I got the chills when I looked at that thing for the first time. IP: Logged |
