I like Linda's book, and have a copy in my home. Even though it's generalized, I still liked her ability to pick up on idosyncracies of sun signs. I also like her sense of whimsy.

@dy-na-mitee

i guess the sun-sign book is more generalized and not specific about any person...and a mere sun-sign cannot count your 70-80% of your personality....

although it fits for many people very well i have seen that..but unfortunately not me...

after all its a research work..can be or cannot be true

freaky,
Your Mars in Gemini will be strong.
Pay attention to its aspects, house placement, and which house it rules.

thanxx lonake but as mcmilx said the worst part is the saturn/neptune influence which has dissolved my fiery aries energy....

despite of having such strong planetary positions...can please suggest me a remedy how resolve those issues...i really want to do....

even my 4 planets in aries aren't contributing to it?
is that saturn/neptune conjuct powerful?

how will my 4 planets in aries help?are they still useful in regulating my personality

That's great. I'm similar to you when it comes to that.. and I likewise have an Aries Sun (but nothing else in Aries).

I have a two question quiz for you LOL
Just trying to jog back some aries-ness hehe

So..

1. Lets say a person who is in authority, whose opinion "counts" for whatever reason - picked on you, singled you out - and unfairly told you that you are clearly not good at problem solving at all. In fact you may as well get a job as a hairdresser - because you are just generally slow and dumb witted.. Would you:

A) React extremely badly to this, becoming spontaneously verbally abusive and throwing your shoes at him. Who does he think he is to say such a thing?

B) Think to yourself - "Well he is an expert in this area.. so perhaps he has a point and I should consider hairdressing."

C) Report him to the Discrimination Committee, the Head of School, the university's "Anti-Chauvinism" Group, most local newspapers and try your best to make it national news.

D) Leave crying and shattered by his harsh words.

E) Leave calmly thinking "pffffffft what a moron. I know I'm good at this. I don't need his opinion."

OK - Question number 2... A person is attacked by a pack of angry, wild, meat-eating piranhas right in front of you. (Take that metaphorically or literally.. as you wish).. Do you..

A) Walk past on your merry way. This is not your business. You are not getting involved.

b) Become very strongly involved in this situation and start throwing punches or hunting down the piranhas.

c) Get someone else to get involved and help out - such as an authority figure or a piranha expert.

The End...

freaky - All is good. The Aries in you lives!!

I was surprised actually at how many people react by crying and being extremely emotionally hurt by nasty comments. My reaction would go something like yours, because even if I was upset - at the end of the day I know myself and I trust my own skills and qualities. That's an Aries-like thing.. because the Sun is exalted there, and Aries people are usually very self aware. It takes a lot to knock down their inborn self-esteem.

When it comes to the second question - Again it is a classic Aries-like thing to want to jump in and defend the person being attacked.

So that's good news. The Aries in you - is not entirely dissolved

What if above person just happened to be below person:

Just sayin'.

Aries doesn't hold a grudge. You could say beause they don't have the attention span. I say because it's not in their nature.

but i donot toatlly agree with the fact that..the sel-esteem of aries can never be knocked down...it can be like mine was knocked by my own parents..and was highly demotivated...during young age but gained it in my youth....(i guess aries believe in the judgement of their parents if planted in their minds during early years)i have seen that in some of them.

i may be wrong

I don't think any sign, or any person, has such infallable self-esteem. I just think that Aries energy has the ability to pick itself up quicker and somewhat easier than some other signs. It needs to get up and fight another day rather than be once bitten twice shy like some other sides could be. It would rather try and fail (as such) than not try at all. It doesn't have the wounded pride to say it failed. It will say that it tried its best and learnt something about itself which made the experience worthwhile. Which then carries it to the next adventure. That's just the Aries spirit.

freakyfever...

Since I don't know you, it would be hard for me to comb through your life to find any unresolved Saturnian/Neptunian issues. This will be something you'll have to take on yourself or with the help of someone who knows you inside and out.

Study up on Saturn and Neptune. At the highest level the first could be about some sort of issue with father, authority, harshness, or rigidity. Neptune could possibly involve alcoholism or emotional unavailability of someone close especially a male or authority figure. Conjunct Saturn it could be about passivity, which causes an inner disconnect with your Arian Sun.

Sun-Saturn opposition may indicate an inferiority complex. The Sun-Neptune opposition could indicate an unclear self-image. Both of these again could cause an inner disconnect with your Arian Sun.

Note that Saturn and Neptune are in the 5th house. This impacts self expression, love affairs, and children. To be happy here, house cleaning of the Saturn/Neptune issues will be needed.

As for what sign you're most likely to be like, while that might be a fun exercise, I'm not sure it would be all that productive. Ultimately, you're "freakyfever" not your natal chart. The chart is the blueprint for your home, but you and your life circumstances are the builders. You don't have to build according to plan, and you have the free will to add and remove rooms.

As for wanting to be more Arian, is it really "all that"? I'd consider your Sun-Venus conjunction with its Libran implications to be a blessing, although more so for your Sun than for your Venus. I'd roll with it....heck, it might even be the key to resolving the rest. To quote the Beatles: all you need is love.

i didnt read everything, i only skimmed starting with the last post i read the last time i was in this thread and here is one thing that really stood out at me:
freakyfeaver-you have the most replies in this topic...sure its your topic, but i think the fact that you have the most replies shows of the aries in you. in a sense you want to be heard...although each reply you make is to a different person...subconsiously you want this topic at the top so people will look at it

@mcmilmx

no i don't have any kind of inferiority comples....regarding my self-image i think people mostly consider me as nice.....but i really don't bother about as to what people think about me..(..except for my closed ones)...i know one thing for sure about me that i am a good as a human being.do not keep malices ..nor keep grudges except for rare cases..and always try to become better...

I didn't mean that their self-esteem can never be knocked down.

I was saying..

quote:
It takes a lot to

I was thinking "it takes a lot to" by contrast with some of (majority of?) the other Sun signs. I am mentioning Sun signs only here - because the Sun is connected to ego and self-esteem.

For instance - Freaky you just said..

quote:
i know one thing for sure about me that i am a good as a human

I believe this 'knowing' comes naturally to you. To be honest, it comes naturally to me to. I feel the same way about 'me'. I am OK and I like myself as I am.
However, a great majority of my friends and people I know cannot muster the words "I love myself" or "I like myself".

Back when I was younger (in my teens) and not all that into astrology - I didn't take note of this. I thought my own opinion of myself was a typical and normal one. In time I realized that actually - it is very difficult for many people out there to love and accept themselves, as they are. I guess every sign has their 'bit' to do - their own imprint on the planet and the world around them. I would say a big part of the Aries imprint is *show* others how to *know* themselves well and secondly how to love themselves. Because Aries is a personal sign, I think they achieve this through personal example, rather than counseling.

And I agree with PA on this:

quote:
I just think that Aries energy has the ability to pick itself up quicker
