romantic attraction / affection / closeness ------------------------------------------- Sun / Venus Moon / Venus physical attraction --------------------- Sun / Mars Venus / Mars Moon / Mars (merging of physical and emotional attraction)
emotional and romanntic passion, sometimes control, posessiveness, jealousy, power issues; sometimes compulsive soulmate-feelings ------------------------------- Moon / Pluto Venus / Pluto
"magical" romantic feelings, feeling of unity, spiritual, feeling like soulmates, sometimes too dreamy and even deceptive -------------------------------------- Moon / Neptune Venus / Neptune
love at first sight --------------------- Venus / Uranus
compulsive sexual attraction, sometimes destructive --------------------------------------- Mars/Pluto
"feeling good" with each other, emotional pleasure ------------------------------------------ Moon / Jupiter Venus / Jupiter friendship, supportive ----------------------- Sun / Jupiter Mars / Jupiter
lastingness, bonding, but sometimes stifling, depressing, frustrating, blocking, could arouse the feeling of being rejected ----------------------------------------- Sun/Saturn Mars/Saturn
Moon/Saturn Venus/Saturn

Thanks so much you guys! DD, what a great list, thats kind of you. Do you think one can look at these midpoints in hard aspect natals (1' orb)? For example: composite venus/saturn MP 8' taurus my mercury 8'13 taurus my surname 8' leo his sun 7'16 taurus his mercury 7'6 taurus his psyche 8' aquarius What if the sun/mars MP was cj both our suns within 1' orb? Using your interpretation, could i say that with both our suns cj it, the physical attraction would be an innate part of us indefinitely? I'm doing my synastry Would the MP of ones sun and moon rulers be significant in synastry or composite if aspecting the chart? I'm fascinated with MP's - they are just like subtle axises methinks.

Lara, Midpoints are just like planets, except they combine energies.IP: Logged |

Well I do that, because i think it works. Venus/Saturn can bring a love commitment, but some think saturn brings separation and pain. I guess you can tell us how you experience it? IP: Logged |

it really depends on the systemIn Cosmobiology and Uranian Astrology, the Midheaven is the most important thing. They saw it as the individual, the "I",spirit, ego consciousness They saw midpoints involving the Midheaven as very important like they viewed the Midheaven/Node midpoint as a soul contact. I am sure that Midheaven/Ascendant midpoint is very important.

Personally I wouldn`t use midpoint to midpoint, as there are thousands of them and you will always find some connection there. Conjuncting midpoints become important nevertheless, as transiting planets will activate them for both people! I am not completely sure how to interprete them in composite, but I think maybe the enthusiastic, passionate side of the relationship would make you feel completely yourself?

Well i have saturn cj venus in natal so l don't like someones saturn bang on my aspect. Done that, got burnt, won a tee shirt In this relationship, venus/saturn MP is on my sun/mercury and it feels good. Solid. Real. Not too threatening or karmic. Raymond, I totally agree about AC/MC MP. In this composite AC/MC MP is 10' cancer In my natal chart AC/MC MP is 12' cancer So maybe one could say that my composite resonates with my self and my soul path? oh, and my MC/NN MP in natal is conjunct exact my and his n sun lol His MC/NN MP is conjunct exact my briede and composite venus/jupiter MP. Yeah i thought as much DD, thanks for confirming what i wondered about MP to MP analysis.I just was intrigued as composite venus/saturn and sun/saturn was on 1' taurus conjuncting my sun/moon MP 0’ my briede/groom MP 0’ and sq his venus/Pluto MP 1’ leo So i guess any transits to 1' taurus will be quite interesting for us
