I like more practice than theory. Theory alone doesn't help too much. If some Astrologer tells to me: go to Peru for your birthday and you will be lucky all year! That is funny! I must come back and the life for SR will be here and not there.

As SR Ascendant sometimes falls in 8th house (there is also death), many people (Astrologers) would run away from the place of living.

I have got explanation for this year: nobody has looked my 6th and 12th house. I did. I feel both houses.
For the year 2008 I had my SR Sun in 8th (had big trine) and have got explanation: I will get more money or will be extra paid for something. There was no extra money. My Sun has nothing to do with 8th house, but has with 7th. Those years were good.

My best years were, when three planets connected with 5th were in trine (in SR):
Also: all my three planets from 10th were in trine (other SR).

I am big believer in Solar Return charts to the point that I got 2 books on Solar Returns and purchased 2 Solar Return report programs which I cannot use right now because I have installation problems with my Kepler. I ordered 2 solar return reports

my current Solar Return had Sun-Mercury in 12th trine Moon in Pisces in 4th

Lunar Return Moon conjunct natal Moon

Chiron-Neptune-Jupiter-Imum Coeli conjunction

Venus in 11th trine Jupiter in 3rd

my mom almost died last Decemeber
I reunited with a lot of relatives to the point that I have 16 relatives on facebook. I went to family reunion and saw relatives for the first time in many years. All those relatives are on my mom's side. That's the only side of the family that I know. I never knew my father nor his side of the family.

I started Developmental Neurodiversity Association and its facebook group in my current Solar Return period. My message is being heard to the point that DNA facebook group has over over 860 members in less than 4 months. I made many connections,associations. with others through the neurodiversity advocacy.

I made an enemy with my former vice president/secretary that turned into legal issue. I have Sun-Mercury in 12th square Mars in 9th in the current solar return.

I also recently connected with former coworkers/shipmates from my navy days on facebook.

I met a woman that I am very interested in.

asteroids work in solar returns too, but I won't get into that

transneptunian dwarf planet candidate Sedna in 7th house square Midheaven in the current Solar Return. I met a fellow neurodivergent with an autistic son who has agreed to work with me in the non profit. She has a strong Sun-Earth-Sedna Node alignment.

Transneptunian dwarf planet Eris in 6th trine Midheaven, and that fits with neurodiversity advocacy and non profit.

I had Transneptunian dwarf planet Eris trine Midheaven in my 2002/2003 Solar Return when I first learned about neurodivergence and neurodiversity. Eris wasn't discovered at the time,and so I had no way of knowing that I had that aspect when I did my solar return that year.

First of all: thank you for writing here that you believe in Solar Return. I do believe, definitely.

I have seen similarity between aspects of some planets in SR:

Venus - Jupiter
Moon - Pluto:
with positive aspects, both give good years. Both of them have Biquintiles in Natal Chart.

The Sun in SR 7th (natal Sun in 7th)
Mars in 4th, conjunction IC (natal Mars, ruler of 7th)
Venus - Neptune (Venus trine Neptune in Natal)
SR ASC Libra, the same as in Natal Chart. Only Sun in 8th says nothing.
I must say here: in the year I took more pills; my SR ASC was in 8th, but I stayed alive.
Any planet in 3rd, in close conjunction with IC: relocation.
SR Moon in 2nd in good aspect: I get for sure some money of gifts from female persons. Why that, I am not sure as my natal Moon rules natal 10th.

More about money: Pluto is ruler of my 2nd. In one book about SR writes: follow your ruler of 2nd in SR and see, where from comes the money.
There is other example when I lost the money: it was bad connection between 2nd, 5th, 8th and 11th house.
In good aspects all four houses give chance to win by Lottery (Natal Chart). I have lost the money (Scam Lottery) with SR aspects.
Last year I had NN in 2nd and I have got the answer that my personal values will improve. It was true. Before that I didn't look, where NN is.
And so on.

I really love Solar Return, even when sometimes looks very bad (many squares and oppositions).

Go back and look your important years. You will see, what was important for you.
That is the easiest way: to study your own Solar Return. You don't need Solar Return Books. I have three books, but didn't read two of them. I like only one book from Joan McEvers and Marion March: "The only way to learn Astrology". There are all possible kinds of predictions: SR, LR, SP, SA, Transits and other. There are many Charts from famous people and explanation, why and when all happened in their life.

I am looking forward to next Solar Return.
It has Sun conjunct retrograde Venus with 16 minutes of arc in 9th house. The retrograde Venus shouldn't be bad. It's more about the need to make careful decisions in regards to love matters and reassessing values. With it being in 9th house, it involves belief systems as well as foreigners. The Sun-Venus conjunction is sextile Ceres-Pluto-North Lunar Node conjunction in 11th. That shows opportunities in finding a significant relationship connection. In 11th,it involves groups,community,and friendship. The Sun-Venus trine the South Lunar Node in 5th can be good for love,relationships from the past. It could be connected to pastlifes. The Sun-Venus square Ascendant indicates friction, but I see that as more about taking action. There could be some angst.
The Solar Return Midheaven will be conjunct my Natal Venus too.
The Solar Return Ascendant will be in my 5th house.

In Numerology, I will be in a 6 Personal Year.

I bought a house (moon in 4th) that was a part of my separation from my husband (mars?) It signals the beginning of a new life for me. (mars, my natal chart ruler, trine sun?)

I began seriously studying astrology and the occult (pluto/karma/nn in the 9th)

Have met a ton of new people and have expanded existing connections into deep friendships (jupiter in 11th house pisces)

Have had an unusual number of new friendships begin through friends of friends and writing each other emails (mercury 12th house) One that turned briefly romantic - though after 200 emails the gentleman was kind enough to inform me he had a girlfriend (venus in 12th). I am still madly in love with someone who continues to be impossible at the moment - not the girlfriend guy, obviously :-) (venus in 12th)

work has been painfully tedious this year and whereas the last five years have been fun and creative this year feels karmic to balance out that fun as I'm working with new partners (saturn in 6th in libra). My cat is also starting to have problems with his back legs - he's 17. I read somewhere that sat in the 6th could be a bad omen for pets. Hope not!

Through my therapy (sun and merc in 12th?) i have been coming to terms with the role of the relationship with my father (sun opp sat?) and had a big breakthrough last week. I also have the sun, pluto, sat tsquare in my natal chart so there's clearly something i'm working out this year that's related to my whole life path. can't say i know what it is.

No signs on the juno conjunct AC as of yet, but next year's solar return (this year's been so rough i couldn't help myself) has juno in the 2nd, pluto, nn, and moon in the 5th, venus in the 7th, and chiron in the 8th. and no more tsquares!!! we shall see!

You bought a house not because of the Moon (only) in 4th but there are more signs for the house.
Cusp of your 4th (house) is in Cancer, ruler is the Moon in the same house. 2nd house (money for the house) from the 4th is your 5th house. Ruler is the Sun in trine with your Moon. It is very good combination to buy a house.
I had 2008 the Moon in 4th, together with Uranus there but didn't buy a house. I didn’t move either, what was told to me.

Your explanation sounds good, especially with SR ASC in the 5th.

About good looking children: it was Madonna who told that she wants to have good looking children, with someone who is not very white. It was Carlos Leon, who is origin from Cuba.
Strange: my female friend told me that men from Cuba are good looking and she wants to go back there, again.

It doesn't help me much: Natal + Solar (with the houses). I don't see there any aspects.

For me is enough to have only Solar Return Chart, because my Natal I have in my head.

For other people is the best to have both: Natal Chart and Solar Return Chart, to see all aspects.

You can buy one book about Solar Return.
I don't know who is the best Astrologer about SR. I have the book about SR from Mary Shea, but somehow I like more the book from Joan McEvers and Marion March, where you can see Charts from many famous people and all kinds of predictions.
There are SR about Natalie Wood, Cher, Rock Hudson and much more.

About angles, you have seen: most important are just the angles and planets there. For me are always most important planets in the 1st and 7th house.
Also, the Moon and the Sun and their aspects are very important.
To read good Solar Return, you need good SR book and your important years. In that case you can read the book and compare with your SR.
