Hi Ami Anne,Nice to see you and the word: Moderator! Hi Glaucus, You are right! How many people had the aspect: Moon square Mars and they weren't killed! In that case we don't need Astrology and 12 houses (especially not the 8th house - move away!) Happy New Year to Ami, to you and all other members in the Forum! Bobbie

^Ami, I'm reading this, (I just met someone w.Moon sq Mars) and as I have the Moon sq to Pluto, in your research, what have you found is the main diff between the 2, just curious. I find myself prone to emotional outbursts from my square, similar to Mars. IP: Logged |

I have it.Moon Scorpio 18 deg house 6 Aquarius Mars 23 deg house 9 I use to really not know how to express my 'negative' feelings...but that started to change when I got hormones... In high school if someone said or did something rude to me I would either be passive, or not talk to them, or give them the death state. (it was a different story at home with my parents though...my mom thought I was possessed. lmao) I feel part of it is not being raised how to deal with conflict. But after high school I become more aggressive and more wild, and more unpredictable. (I've toned it down a little in the last couple of years) I remember this girl I barely knew was trying to bash me behind my back. And lets just say I tore her a new one. But even in high school and now...guy will learn that I am more stubborn than I look. And that I can be a b!tch. I've always preferred to fight verbally rather than physically. Today I am more likely to tell someone they are rude. I didn't know how to express that to people when I was younger... Now, whether I flat out say it to someone...or one of the moms at my work are talking to me like a lowly peasant...and me saying in a b!tchy tone. "Well I'm sorry that happened to you!"...like she could tell I was really saying "Well I'm sorry that your a rude to people that watch your pain in the ass kids!"

Hmm, great question, Lonake! I would think Moon square Mars would not be as primal as Moon square Pluto. I can see Moon square Mars as having tantrums which are like a kid. Moon square Pluto would be a whole different animal. It is the depth of Pluto in one's gut. It would be the aspect of a shrink, a detective, someone who could see through people AND had deep passions and deep, primal emotions, oneself. Having the angry tantrums would be more of a hallmark of Moon square Mars, in my experience and I have had it

I can totally relate to everything in your post, although I have a Taurus Moon (4th house, 18 degrees) and Leo Mars (8th house, 26 degrees). Despite a Libra Midheaven, my meaner aspects override it. I definitely don't need to be dealing with young children and their parents! This aspect gives me a very bad temper. I don't lose it very often, but when I do- all hell breaks loose. IP: Logged |

Thanks sweetie, I have seen the tantrums in him, you're right they're like a kid's, it's pretty adorable And yea they're small beans compared to my volcanic eruptions that's prob why I can laugh at it. I think other people, the wrong kind of people, would take the tantrums personally.IP: Logged |

I have it alsoLeo moon (1st house) square scorpio mars (5th house) I try to avoid confrontation as much as possible and I'm pretty good at holding things in and either analyzing my feelings/the situation or doing something else to take my mind off of it. When it comes to someone disrespecting my mom or loved ones it's a WHOLE nother story lol. Growing up my step-dad would physically abuse my mom and I remember even from a really young age yelling for him to stop and being told to go back to my room. She left him some years ago but that "fear" has always stayed with me and if any man ever raises his voice towards my mom I get really defensive and on edge. My mom is an aries moon so my early (and sort of recent home life) wasn't always peachy. My mom would also throw things (not at us) and she definitely had a temper in past years (180 degree improvement now). In all though I do have a really close bond with my mom though ( lots of moon aspects and planets in 4th probably explain that) and I honestly worry alot about her well being and I'm also cautious of any potential bad guys around her. I can also see how this aspect relates to my mom. She's really strong and a no-non sense person and it's rare that people think to challenge her (and funny seeing anyone try to). Before she had me and my sister she actually planned on being in the army. So having a rather dominate mother is true in my case. I also noticed someone mentioning loving an adrenaline rush and that is oh so true in my case lol. My mom can seriously drive like a stunt driver (not just typical fast diving but being able to zoom in and out of lanes smoothly and driving backwards/around tight spaces with ease) and people always say she drives like a guy lol - never had a car accident or car totaled either. She doesn't drive like that unless she has to/thinks it's necessary but when she does I love it lol. Did I mention I've been in love with the fast and furious series since forever? I also like aggressive sports and after recently trying brazilian jiu jitsu I'm positive I'll be sticking with that for a long long time. I don't mind a challenge and a little competition either (in sports anyways). Looking at me though it always shocks people because I look too sweet and although I am, theres definitely a rough aggressive side to me that's under wraps. I always surprise people with my strength and even the guys I sparred with in my class would go " woah you're sooo strong!" Lol. All in all I like this aspect, I feel like it makes me a undercover tough cookie in a sense lol. The only thing I dislike about this aspect is having to have lived in abusive/argument type environments. I definitely don't want to bring this into my own home later in life nor have my kids (if I have any) witness anything like that. IP: Logged |

I've been meaning to comment on this thread ever since I saw it a few days ago. I realize it's old but still want to thank you all for your thoughts. Doux, thanks for that very accurate (to me!) article.I have a Pisces moon square Gemini Mars and Sag Neptune. It's like this~ Gem Mars says: "I feel like doing something. Maybe this or maybe that..." Sag Neptune: "Well just make sure your actions are in line with your life's purpose and philosophy..." Pisces moon: "Who cares about any that, I just want to Be." Gem Mars: "You (expletive!) weirdos, no wonder I can't get anything done. Neptune is a tyrant and Moon is a flake!" Sag Neptune: "Gemini Mars = spaz" Pisces moon: "Let's all just hug again..." ^ Dramatization but kind of true. I find it hard to figure out what to do. Also on a more serious note, I feel kind of unworthy of love because what's there to love? My moon's caught up in a spinning wheel of tension. I want to read this thread and comment more later, it's an interesting aspect to explore. IP: Logged |

gotta love Pisces! quote: Also on a more serious note, I feel kind of unworthy of love because what's there to love? My moon's caught up in a spinning wheel of tension.
I know where you're coming from. My Moon is the most aspected (and very afflicted) thing in my chart. But hey, sometimes we just need to take a chill pill and realize that everyone's basically just like us. Why wouldn't we deserve love? Maybe some psychopaths don't, but you my friend, you definitely do! You're worthy of love  Here, eat some cake

Doux, I think you are absolutely wonderful. The fact that your moon is afflicted just proves that squares can be worked out, overcome, and turned into something good! And I agree about people being more like us than we tend to realize, and we're all worthy of love...but it's been a struggle for me to find, and hold onto, lasting comfort within myself. Still trying Always nice talking with you. IP: Logged |

Thank you, Faith, I appreciate your kind words. I can say the same thing about you! <3I haven't quite mastered my afflictions yet, but I'm working on it. I think we all are. Sending you much love, light, and healing vibes Always nice talking to you, too. You're a sweetheart. Stay strong and keep up the faith ~

This guy also has mars square mercury. My mother has gemini moon square pisces mars with a wide orb and an Aries sun. She is a volcano. She can erupt at any second. She did get violent when I was younger, and would regularly get physically abusive and throw things etc. She couldn't control herself. Even with age, she still has a very difficult time controlling her outbursts, but at least I am rarely there as target practice But, with her sun opposite neptune, she thinks she is the most perfect human being to walk the earth. More people should have her fine qualities. Hrmm.
Oh man I hear you on the cancer moon. Cancer moon square Virgo mars. It was like a volcano that never erupted but you just knew the lava beneath the surface was waiting to burst free. IP: Logged |

Yeah, like with Moon in Sagittarius opposite Gemini Mars by a 0’03 degree orb. IP: Logged |

In this case, the person is more mutable, in general. This means more of a flexible person----go with the flow. They would not trust women and have a hard time with their own mother as all people do with this aspect but I suppose it would not be as intense if it were in other signs.------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology?
