I have Mooon Square Mars, the closest to words I can put it is:

My emotional representation and my self representation are not on the same track.

Very rarely does my self expression accurately express my emotional needs. So I tend to struggle to express my emotional desires, needs and feelings in general.

I do also sometimes have outbursts though they are fairly innocuous these days. I have a lot of Squares in my chart, a lot.

I also have;
Moon Square Mercury
Moon Opposition Uranus

Moon in Gemini - XI
Mars in Libra - III
Mercury in Libra - III
Uranus in Capricorn - VI

It means you're empassioned all the time, in a way that's difficult to express in a healthy way. The greatest lesson for someone with Moon square Mars is learning not to see comprimise as a weakness, but a strength.

I have it... and euh... well, if something BOTHERS me (emotional part) there's an instant urge, which I absolutely can't deny, to dissolve things right away! I must confrontate the other at the same time and even then I can look like an erupting volcano! (especially in love-relationships it seems I've no sense of restraint). It's not easy to deal with it...

Hmm, well I do also have Sun Square Moon so I guess those elements are mixed in there as well.

I still do think my instinctual and emotional needs clash with my actions.

I am extremely tense physically, though I don't recognise it as it feels normal to me. Apparently my muscles are really tense all the time.

I do have problems controlling bottled up emotions, they seem to explode out of me every once in a while.

I also take things quite personally which often clouds my clarity of thought.

My mother has this aspect and she was very scary to have as a mother. Very very scary. I never knew when she was going to explode in crazy screaming and I never knew what she was going to throw at me. She was violent with her sister, with me, with my father especially, and if it wasn't violence, it was scathing insults. I'm sure some other aspects combined in her chart to create this personality, and I know she had a bad childhood with a horrendously bad parental breakup and the fallout from it, but still... her sister went through the same thing and doesn't throw candle sticks at people.

She managed to gain some control over her temper as she aged, and it's at the point where she hasn't been violent in the last 10 years or so... but she still takes everything personally, so there have been quite a few misunderstandings over nonsense. Still, I am relieved not to see objects being hurled in my direction and I give her credit for calming her internal gremlins.

Both Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Mahondas Gandhi had Moon square Mars. They both had t-squares involving Moon square Mars. They were both very passionate people, but they practiced nonviolence. Their lives ended from violence though.

Ami, I don't know what my moon shows about my relationship with my mother. I'll put up the chart later so you can analyze.

My mother has Moon in Libra. If she has the Ascendant people at LL guessed she has, then Mars in Capricorn.

My mother has Moon in Libra,also. It is not a good placement for the moon.
The moon is cold and vacillating in this placement.
I am NOT saying that every person who has a Libra moon is a certain way. I adore my Diablo who has it.
I am just saying the Libra moon is a thinking,rational moon.
The moon's best expression is as a warm ,fuzzy, comfy,maternal type expression.

Mars in Cap can have the same "vibe" as the Libra moon.
It is a calculating and cerebral placement.
So,for a mother role, these placements do not have the warmth and nurturing one would want in a mother.
My mother was VERY Aqua. Uranus is another planet which does not do well in the mother role.
