My Tropical Sun is in Scorpio 5th- My Western Sidereal Sun is in Libra 29' (So as was mentioned about constellations, in the Constellation of Libra:]) Koch/Equal

Tropical Moon Virgo 3rd - Sidereal Moon Leo

Tropical/Sidereal Ascendant Gemini, but one is 29' and the other 4'40

I'm thinking about going with the Western Sidereal version. :]

I actually have an identity crises

It doesn't help that I have Mars conjunct Mercury in Scorpio- tropical and sidereal and also conjunct Sun

Really . Thank you!

Well, I think BOTH work, together in this sense.
If a person had moon conjunct Nessus and did not have the emotional strength and self confidence (Sun conjunct ASC) to deal with the strong Nessus, they may go down a bad road with Nessus.
This is just my theory but I think a strong Nessus needs a strong personality component such as a strong Sun aspect to balance out the darkness of Nessus.
You have this.
I would like to look at the other info you posted before to see if these prominent doctors had a strong Sun aspect or other compensating strong aspects to balance out the Nessus .
Strong Pluto aspects could do it ,too,I imagine.
One thing I have noticed in charts is that people have struggles AND saving graces.
I believe Divinity is behind the charts so,of course,no one would be left with SUCH a horrible chart that there was no way out.

Glaucus, what's the difference and why isn't sidereal used in the mainstream? My sidereal chart is completely different. Sun is still in Cancer though, my tropical natal Sun is at 27 degrees Cancer. Sidereal is 15 degrees, but my Moon and everything else is completely different.

I can't possibly have this much Gemini - KILL MEEEEEEEE!!!

I still maintain that the Moon tends to be the strongest expressed in a person.

with the constellation of Gemini, the symbolism is about the mythology of Castor and Pollux

with the sidereal and tropical zodiacs, Gemini is based on it being a mutable air sign and ruled by Mercury

Sidereal Zodiac is not used in the mainstream because Ptolemy adopted the tropical zodiac and mainstream astrologers followed him

so your Sun is in the constellation of Cancer .....cool

constellation Cancer has a different symbolism from sidereal, tropical

sidereal zodiac and tropical zodiac Cancer is based on it being a cardinal watersign ruled by the moon

constellation Cancer's symbolism is about

CANCER, THE CRAB Tropical Span: 18 degrees 28 Cancer – 16 Leo

Between the bright stars Castor & Pollux and the head of the Lion is an area so dim that Cancer the Crab was called “the dark constellation.” Without keen eyesight and a very clear starry night, nothing can be seen here at all! Nonetheless, this is a vital and powerful area. On ancient Euphratean lunar tablets this was the constellation Nagar-asurra, Babylonian-Assyrian Nangaru “The Workman-of-the-River-Bed” and was Sumerian Allab or Allul, Akkadian Allutu, “Voice-of-the-Sun-Place” (ecliptic) because in the 3rd millenium BCE our Crab was at the highest gate of the ecliptic, the Summer Solstice. The boundary-stones of the Euphratean area showed no figure of a crab, but in its place is a tortoise – both creatures are carapaced amphibians. In the center of the Crab is a famous nebulous cluster called “The Beehive.”

When Utah applied for statehood, Mormons asked that the state be called “Deseret” their word for “honeybee.” Congress chose rather to honor the Ute Indians, but in response to the Mormons’ wishes, it was called “The Beehive State.” On the day Utah entered the Union, January 4, 1896, Jupiter, trans-iting the Crab, was exactly at nebulous Praesaepe, Epsilon Cancri: “The Beehive”!
