speaking of jupiter i have jupiter opposite venus, saturn and neptune....when i was faced with the idea of moving away for an extended period i got terrified...if my travel trips are short, like a visit, i'd be more excited ------------------

I hate travel .
I have Cancer on the cusp of the 9th house.
My Cancer moon is in the 8th house.

Sag Uranus in 3rdI've traveled and moved "homes" a lot. Home is usually wherever I am. I guess home is my shell, so to speak. I carry my home with me. I've lived abroad, in 4 different cities in the past three years, and I couldn't even tell you what my address was last year - can't remember! I have been living in LA for the past 1.5 years. Staying put because of my love. Surprisingly, he's traveled far more than me, though I don't think he likes it. I think I've traveled more than most people. Growing up my parents sent my brothers & I overseas for either, vacays or studying.-Sag 3H, Gemini 9H (empty). Both rulers Mercury & Jupiter conjunct my Asc in Libra. I primarily travel alone too. When I was a kid, I wanted to work for National Geographic. Travelling is my soul's urge. But 4 the love of stars,i can't see any clue in my natal  9th H gem,with venus in it by minute(i still feel it strongly) ruler of 9th in 12th,strong 3rd H...

I love to travel! I'd do it for a living if I could (though actually, the people I've talked to who DO travel for a living hate it because they are always working, so maybe not). I would prefer to do more long distance travel, but what I do for a living does not give me that luxury, so I find other fun things to do around town or in nearby places to help satisfy my wanderlust. I have a heavy Sag/H9 influence, so I think that explains it well enough. Jupiter also aspects a lot of planets in my chart. Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune in Sag
Venus and Mars in the 9th
Cancer on the cusp of the 9th house, Leo intercepted in the 9th house.

i NEED traveling. i have Sagittarius Sun, AC, Neptune, Venus, Ceres and Juno. 9th house is ruled by Leo and Saturn and PoF are there. i don't mind a long duration of being away from home. actually i don't really have a set "home" anyway, it's like i'm on a permanent exile since a long time (getting tired of it and wanting to settle somewhere though).my partner also loves it and we make great traveling companions. hmm, he has Mars in the 9th house, along with Ceres, Juno and Vesta. only PoF in Sagittarius. in equal house system his 8th house Stellium shifts into the 9th house though. Okay so 7th house and it says Sagittarius next to it. I am so confused by that. How does that make sense?
Anyways that is the only placement I find in my chart with Sagittarius. (not including fixed stars and asteroids)And I am the type that longs to travel for the sake of enjoying my self and or visit loved ones.
I need it to stay sane and be happy. If I'm deprived of it I get depressed for a while and then I rebel and just do it myself. I never moved in my child hood. I moved back in with my folks in the same ol house in April. After what I went though I never want to move in with a guy ever again, til I'm married. ha. But I am starting to long living somewhere warmer. I love the spring and summer and fall in Michigan I hate winter though it’s gloomy and or snowy. I hate snow. Loved it when I was a kid though. I wish I lived South around this time.

I think the mutable signs like to travel the most. I know way too many people and various signs to pinpoint who travels the most, etc... But I've traveled out of the US 3 times to Europe and plan to go somewhere new and teach English once I graduate, I'm a Sagittarius ASC. and Jupiter is in Gemini in the 6th house... IP: Logged |

I love to travel and study languages but, alas, my astrological tropical chart doesn't have any conventional aspects pointing to a love of traveling or higher education.
I have lived in 6 different places in my life so far: NY, Bermuda, London, Paris, Vienna and Florence and love studying languages. My chart has capricorn in the 9th house and I have no planets in 3rd or 9th. Most of my personal planets are in fixed signs in leo or taurus. The only mutable signs I have are Venus in Virgo in the 5th and Neptune in Sag in the 7th. Oh, I just noticed that my draconic chart does have some traditional traveling aspects: Draconic Sun/Merc in Sag conjunct tropical neptune in Sag exact. IP: Logged |

Well....I was always fascinated with foreign cultures and wanted to travel to different countries.That's one of the reasons why I joined the navy. I did get to travel to the United Emirates,Singapore,Australia,Hong Kong,Singapore,and Hawaii.
