Topic: What makes a person hold on to a relationship?

What aspects in the birth chart would indicate having a hard time letting go and/or moving on?Could Pluto be the culprit? Or maybe Venus? I'm currently unsure why I hold on to this person so tightly..
I have no indication or proof that they have moved on (or at least to my knowledge) just the fact that communication has stopped.
Here is the synastry if anyone is curious..
I'm on the inside.
The Composite has strong Pluto and yes, I would admit that I'm obsessed with this person, have been from the beginning.

I think its the moon/pluto in synastry.. I have the conjunction with Pisces, and I swear it will be the death of me... I cant pull away, not matter what I do... I have been reading alot on moon/pluto... You feel afraid of, loosing that person.. Its very hard to let go.. IP: Logged |

I have Neptune conjunct Neptune and Pluto conjunct Pluto with the only person I have yet to forget and stop waiting for. I meet other people I get very interested in and I put him out of sight temporarily, but I do believe that all my relationships end up failing because sadly, I'm still waiting to see what happens. Until some final happens, maybe even if something like that happened, I'm not sure how to forget him. I've tried almost every way. :\ Maybe someday I'll be able to move on. Right now, I think it's impossible, so I just try not to dwell on it and just accept my feelings. IP: Logged |

Lioness, can you expand a bit on this? What exactly with moon/pluto? I have heard that the Moon person feels very tightly bound to the Pluto person. Like they're mesmerized or something. Oh, and for me, it's the whole Pluto square Venus demon. Agh! Just can't seem to let go, and have to see it out to the gory, bloody end. I'm usually the one who winds up with the goop all over them. Well in Synastry we have a both way Moon Sextile Pluto and in the Composite we have the Moon conjunct Pluto..
So we have Moon/Pluto 3 ways.. I think the composite intensifies the synastry's sextile.. I feel it very deeply and to the core...
I feel he HAS HAS HAS to be in my life.. That I cant be with out him, yet at the same time, Im not afraid of loosing him, bc I know he will just always be there.. If that makes any sense at all..
If one of us does pulls away from the other, THEN the fear comes to the front, and you start to worry, did I do something, what happen, you will do just about anything to get that reassurance, that the other person is still there.. Once the other person acknowledges yes Im still here, then every thing is better.. Like a sigh of relief. Until the "other" person than pulls away, then that person will do anything to get that reassurance.
It seems like its a never ending cycle that you cant get away from.. This is absolutely the hardest time I have had to pull away from some one..
What makes it worse, we stopped seeing each other over a year ago, but cant break the bond... One one feels like we are loosing the other,its a literal hell. We stopped talking once, for 3 months, I have never in my life been so miserable.. Not even when I split with the ex of over 10 years...
This was just a short fling... lol
Shrug its a complete and total mess... I finally stopped trying to escape and accepted its better to have him, in my life verses being miserable...
But at the same time I desperately want to pull away, and get this out of my system.. It seems to be an impossible task. IP: Logged |

I can't offer chart analysis, but I am amazed at how many of us are in the same situation. I think inability to let go always comes back to self-worth. Attaching one's various senses of identity to that person. As far as these lifetime connections go, I heard to look out for Neptune and 12th House. Neptune or no, love sometimes KILLS. IP: Logged |

Like I said its a huge mess.
We have a BW 12th house synastry..
Our Stelliums in each others 12th..
We have BW Neptune's
My Neptune conjuncts his moon
His neptune conjuncts my MC
My Neptune sq his Sun
His Neptune trine my Stellium..
BW Jupiter aspects...
We even have a BW Venus quinx Moon
My chart ruler conjuncts his moon
his chart ruler conjuncts my Asc
There's more but u get the idea.. The killer, was Venus Sq Uranus.. Only Pluto brings us back...
Whats funny is NEITHER of us will say a DAMN thing to the other...

ME?? I have Sun conjunct Moon in my natal by 1 orb.. So all the aspects I listed to my stellium also hits my midpoint.. His venus is where his sun/moon midpoint is. His SN is on my Asc.. My SN is on his Jupiter.. My NN widely conjuncts his Venus... I think it may be to far its like 8 orbs..

I know a lady with venus sq uranus natally and she has it with her husband(marriage of 23 yrs),she is uranus... Relationship with her husband described as bliss,but when i asked her about previous relationships,she said,no,no,no those were affairs. I knew that those had expiration date,i always knew when to end it. Wish i had her chart,she is sag sun,only that...Venus sq uranus is whimsical aspect.IP: Logged |

I have Uranus in the 7th.. So Im usually the person to end "affairs" I agree with your friend, you know when to end it... Which is what I did with Pisces.. figuring the time was right.. He was suppose just to be a fling...

I think Moon/Pluto has a life of it's own irrespective of your mind or "better sense".
It just "is".
You are right not to fight it.
Pluto tells you what to do, to a large extent.

Pluto is just like that.
Did you check Nessus and Deja with your Pisces?

What about Eros?
