Maybe this will help One of the least understood factors in astrology is that there is no such thing as a good Pluto aspect; there is only a less bad one, but even this rather sidesteps the reality of all applications of Pluto, Pluto is an imperative to transform, most especially in the mode of configured signs and houses, and whilst a square might be experientially more stressful and tense it also provides a greater impetus to the necessary psychic metamorphosis that the lord of the underworld requires. A trine to Pluto therefore might not be nearly so distressing, but by the same token, it creates far less urgency such that the transformational urge might be put off, perhaps indefinitely, and (once again) if we understand that all aspects are squares, then the undealt-with trine to Pluto very quickly degenerates into a square-like experience. I read a lot of very subjective Plutonic philosophy from astrologers (although I am not for one minute proclaiming the suepriority of my own philosophy in this respect), and it drives me nuts when I read about how somebody enjoys their Pluto aspects, they love to transform themselves and make-over their affairs in whatever house. This view more or less contains the unquestioned premise that Plutonic experience is positive experience. Certainly, it may – with hindsight – appear beneficial, but it is in the very act of having our most compulsive opposition to change challenged, broken down, and decimated that the benefit is manufactured: thus if we enjoy Plutonic experience it cannot be – by definition – Plutonic; it may be Uranian, or even (as I have seen) Lunar, since it might be easy to assume that those things which fluctuate and change in our lives are prompted from a deeper realm than the emotional ebb and flow of our innate monthly cycles. Venus: Here the desire nature gets a real injection of hot-sex and a tendency to experience devastating biological urges and psychically overwhelming attractions. In a sense this is a rather self-defeating combination because it creates almost irresistible attractions that in themselves evince plenty of fallout in the broader scope of life. Here stalkers are made (no really) so before you ditch that boyfriend with the Venus Pluto square, make sure you introduce him to your more attractive best friend first. Transformation is required in the love nature, and here there is almost an ascetic requirement, the love nature has to be purified and because of the Libra influence there is rarely any middle ground, the love-life can be almost completely pornographic, or alternately very pure and celibate, but the demon needs to be faced before there is much hope of redemption. The trine aspect might take great joy from his or her kinky indulgences, but the transformation will ultimately become compelling regardless. I'm definitely leaning towards what you and letram have to say. To tell you the truth, I can be a rather dynamic speaker. Sometimes it can be pretty magical and I can do both soft and sweet as well as intense. Maybe that's why I'm thinking my speaking ability is infused by pluto trine venus. quote: Originally posted by roadwarriorsdp:
above post is redundant as i dind't read you said you were in the medical field, which is kind of like what I think pluto trine venus in cancer conjunct vertex would be...So you know jack white is a cancer sun, saturn, and moon and the one of his ablums was entitled white blood cells.
It's good to hear that the pluto trine venus could help the career Makes me wonder if obs/gyn or public health is the way to go for me^^. Btw, I love the Jack White quip^^. @maira: I really identify with what you're saying. I've been doing a lot of reading about the eight house. Apparently if your born with a packed eight house, your karmically fated to go through a lot of evolution and changes during this lifetime. In my case, we're going through pluto. Right now, my pluto transit are anything but pretty. I'm going through a nasty Pluto conjunct neptune and a Pluto opposition Mercury. By 2013, Pluto opposition Venus will hit. In the next couple of years, Pluto is going make aspects with half of my eight house planets and will avoid sun (maybe) and mars. I'm so not looking forward to this, but I'm really wondering how I'll be transformed after this period. IP: Logged |

With pluto in the sixth in scorpio trine mars in the 10th in pisces, I found myself always wanting to change my body, to the point of even considering plastique surgery...or working out so intensly to the detriment of everything else. It's tough, but now I just feel like I have an abundance of energy, and do everything with moderation. It takes wisdom and the benefit of the doubt to tame plutonic energy, but I really do feel it's a blessing once you do. IP: Logged |

I found myself argueing alot if people needed me and got in the way of transformin. JAckwhite thing was my pleasure btw! It's true though, cancerians are good at healing in many different ways. You do know that Pluto can kill whatever aspect of the self it wants.... Use it or lose it.I think you just haven't 'worked it.' I knew a Pluto trine Venus gal, and she felt the same. Maybe you need a makeover.....? It's not gonna pop out of nowhere, but if you look for it, it will be there. It's in you, just go do it. You have to own Pluto, or he will own you. Go own that sexy self! IP: Logged | |
