I know a Cancer rising of whom I have plenty of pics but I'm not sure I should post them here LOL. He is very handsome though, conventionally so, with large eyes and lips (& dimples). His Moon is in Aries--I agree the placement adds sensitivity and can soften harsher edges of personality, especially in males. IP: Logged |

Frozen Queen- I second the big beautiful eyes comment somewhere (to lazy to look right now). Very doe-like. You can see your sensitivity in them. Don't take this to mean that you look like an emotional wreck that cries a lot. It's more the strength of the sensitivity I see. You can look into someone's core and know exactly what is in their soul. Sometimes this hurts you. You're an emotion sponge. I wonder, do you ever feel like you carry the weight of the world on your shoulders? At some point in your life did you feel like the world let you down? That the world broke your heart?GypseeWind- I was going to comment that your daughter looks a bit like Madonna in the first pick and then I noticed that she shares the same Moon in Virgo placement Madonna has. It's interesting how she looks like two different people from the profile view and the frontal view of the pics. Is this a cancer thing or a water thing? IP: Logged |

What a fun topic this has been! So many beautiful faces, I never knew there were so many similar traits amongst Cancers...something about the eyes...and I think maybe with cappy's as well? ... I always wondered why although my kids and I all 4 have very different eyes, and colors...but they are all unique, and commented on frequently... Moons of Jupiter...thank you sooooo much...and yes, he is super 'switched on', my kids have always 'got' alot of it way before I did...I could tell you some stories...lol My youngest girl has Sagi rising, they both do...her DNA is in Gemini I do know, so that is interesting that you saw that.. I just realized earlier too that we have more Cancers in the fam...quite a few actually... I also don't think it's fair to not show the other half of our 'team'...the Cappy's! My daughter(Cappy sun), Moi(Cappy rising).. This has been my favorite topic so far, alot of smiles over here...we should do this more often! Thanx everyone! Kat IP: Logged |

I agree VDS about nervousgravity. It's amazing how that Pisces influence is so powerful. I see more Pisces in those eyes than anything else.IP: Logged |

Agreed. And BlondeRiverCat - your Lindaland name suits your perfectly. Beautiful family you got there. NervousGravity - your Pisces energy is so strong in that photo. Cancer risers, do you feel that people are surprised once they get to know you? Have you ever had the feedback that people can know you for years, and still haven't scratched the surface? Do people generally find you odd, or in some way complex to deal with? IP: Logged |

Moons of Jupiter...thank you so very much, that means alot...I am very proud of my children, they have made great strides in their young lives...especially my Cancer Riser...they all have beautiful hearts, always willing to help others, people are drawn to them.... As far as the Cancer rising question goes, I can answer for my son...he IS odd!lol But then again we all are...he is very cautious when meeting new people, and carefully feels them out...very reserved at first, but once you get to know him...look out! He is a true goofball, as well as my Cancer Sun son(hehe)...I am now wondering if a sense of humor is a trait of Cancers...I mean, my boys are hilarious when they get going...no one makes me laugh as hard as my 2 boys... Something I was just wondering...since the eyes seem to be such a strong trait of Cancers...what the eye color concensus would be? My Cancer riser has hazel eyes, and my Cancer Sun has beautiful gray-blue with gold in the middle...IP: Logged |

I say grey-blue is the trademark, or at least 'light and luminous' in some way. Mine are light blue, even though I'm fairly normal to olive skinned. I really think THE MOON says soooo much more about Cancer, than the symbol of the actual Crab, the crustacean. IP: Logged |

No offense taken, littlecloud...I can be very emotional at times. I have a lot of water in my chart but most of it is Scorpio. I wasn't very open nor did I really show my feelings to people like the icy demeanour that Scorpio is so famous for. I had this mask of happiness that I used to project onto the world, of being 'loony' and it did fool people most of the time. I would have people ask me if I ever was serious in my life. I think it was only after I started meditating in 11th grade and started doing chakra healing that I first began expressing my Cancer Rising. I remember how weird it was for those who knew me when I suddenly started crying at the drop of a hat. Now, I'm open emotionally and am trying to grow into my NN in Pisces 8th House and to just be more trusting and having faith in a higher plan. It's not an easy journey...but I'm learning not to shut down and act aloof when in my heart I feel so much, too much at times. My empathy makes me pick up people's emotions like a sponge and I can tell when someone is upset. I also started to practice listening around the same time and I have had people come and pour out their troubles to me. But then they become absent friends when I need help. The world is another thing. I don't care about the world but I do feel as if I carry burdens of ages upon my shoulders. The cusp of my 12th House is in Gemini with its ruler Mercury in Scorpio in the 3rd. When the world becomes too painful for me, I withdraw into my fantasy world where I am the hero and where, no matter what happens, no matter how dark or difficult things become, there's always light at the end of the tunnel. The book I'm writing is an extension of this internal fantasy where everything is transmuted into dream colours and iridescent beauty...that is my Scorpio stellium at work. I have been depressed and suicidal in my life but I'm learning to trust and have faith...there is always hope ------------------ NO FEAR. NO DOUBT. NO DISBELIEF. Free your mind...

Hey cool I was close to right!!! (mostly anyway) quote: I also started to practice listening around the same time and I have had people come and pour out their troubles to me. But then they become absent friends when I need help.
I suppose that's part of the Pisces NN, to give to others without expecting anything back. Frustrating but liberating at times. I can relate to your fantasy world. When that book is published I will definitely buy a copy. IP: Logged |
