Hello everyone.I suppose this has already been discussed before, but I wonder if there is a link between natal charts and your personality type. I know there are too many factors to consider, but why not try and see what comes out of it? I'm basically an INFP, but lately test INTP.
Sun Mercury Mars - Scorpio Moon - Virgo and 6th house stellium Venus Jupiter - Libra ASC Gemini IC Cancer Scorpio, Virgo and Aquarius are my 3 most prominent signs according to the pullen chart. Most prominent planets are Mercury, Saturn and Pluto. I really don't know whether I'm more INFP or INTP. I can't decide whether I use my Feeling function or my Thinking function.. I often consider myself INxP. What about you guys?
For those who don't know their type, you can find some tests here: http://similarminds.com/personality_tests.html under the Jung Tests on the right
or this one, which is a bit different though: http://www.teamtechnology.co.uk/mmdi/questionnaire/ IP: Logged |

I'm an INFP, type seven "thrill seeker"; i have to be high and entertained to be happy, and i seek high levels of excitement... that's supposed to be my predominant personality, i guess. It's true. I become very listless and depressed unless things are hopping and moving and shaking around me.Aquarius Sun (in third house) Scorpio Moon Rising sign between Sagittarius and Scorpio (i can seem like either one depending on my mood) Aries Mars Aries Venus Aquarius Mercury Aquarius Jupiter

I am an INFP strong water factor strong Neptune factor very strong transneptunian dwarf planet/candidate factor (in my case: Eris,Ixion,Sedna,Quaoar,Varuna,Haumea,Orcus) How is INFP type 7 thrill seeker? I am confused about that. Portrait of an INFP - Introverted iNtuitive Feeling Perceiving (Introverted Feeling with Extraverted Intuition)
The Idealist
As an INFP, your primary mode of living is focused internally, where you deal with things according to how you feel about them, or how they fit into your personal value system. Your secondary mode is external, where you take things in primarily via your intuition. INFPs, more than other iNtuitive Feeling types, are focused on making the world a better place for people. Their primary goal is to find out their meaning in life. What is their purpose? How can they best serve humanity in their lives? They are idealists and perfectionists, who drive themselves hard in their quest for achieving the goals they have identified for themselves INFPs are highly intuitive about people. They rely heavily on their intuitions to guide them, and use their discoveries to constantly search for value in life. They are on a continuous mission to find the truth and meaning underlying things. Every encounter and every piece of knowledge gained gets sifted through the INFP's value system, and is evaluated to see if it has any potential to help the INFP define or refine their own path in life. The goal at the end of the path is always the same - the INFP is driven to help people and make the world a better place. Generally thoughtful and considerate, INFPs are good listeners and put people at ease. Although they may be reserved in expressing emotion, they have a very deep well of caring and are genuinely interested in understanding people. This sincerity is sensed by others, making the INFP a valued friend and confidante. An INFP can be quite warm with people he or she knows well. INFPs do not like conflict, and go to great lengths to avoid it. If they must face it, they will always approach it from the perspective of their feelings. In conflict situations, INFPs place little importance on who is right and who is wrong. They focus on the way that the conflict makes them feel, and indeed don't really care whether or not they're right. They don't want to feel badly. This trait sometimes makes them appear irrational and illogical in conflict situations. On the other hand, INFPs make very good mediators, and are typically good at solving other people's conflicts, because they intuitively understand people's perspectives and feelings, and genuinely want to help them. INFPs are flexible and laid-back, until one of their values is violated. In the face of their value system being threatened, INFPs can become aggressive defenders, fighting passionately for their cause. When an INFP has adopted a project or job which they're interested in, it usually becomes a "cause" for them. Although they are not detail-oriented individuals, they will cover every possible detail with determination and vigor when working for their "cause". When it comes to the mundane details of life maintenance, INFPs are typically completely unaware of such things. They might go for long periods without noticing a stain on the carpet, but carefully and meticulously brush a speck of dust off of their project booklet. INFPs do not like to deal with hard facts and logic. Their focus on their feelings and the Human Condition makes it difficult for them to deal with impersonal judgment. They don't understand or believe in the validity of impersonal judgment, which makes them naturally rather ineffective at using it. Most INFPs will avoid impersonal analysis, although some have developed this ability and are able to be quite logical. Under stress, it's not uncommon for INFPs to mis-use hard logic in the heat of anger, throwing out fact after (often inaccurate) fact in an emotional outburst. INFPs have very high standards and are perfectionists. Consequently, they are usually hard on themselves, and don't give themselves enough credit. INFPs may have problems working on a project in a group, because their standards are likely to be higher than other members' of the group. In group situations, they may have a "control" problem. The INFP needs to work on balancing their high ideals with the requirements of every day living. Without resolving this conflict, they will never be happy with themselves, and they may become confused and paralyzed about what to do with their lives. INFPs are usually talented writers. They may be awkard and uncomfortable with expressing themselves verbally, but have a wonderful ability to define and express what they're feeling on paper. INFPs also appear frequently in social service professions, such as counselling or teaching. They are at their best in situations where they're working towards the public good, and in which they don't need to use hard logic. INFPs who function in their well-developed sides can accomplish great and wonderful things, which they will rarely give themselves credit for. Some of the great, humanistic catalysts in the world have been INFPs. http://www.personalitypage.com/INFP.html ------------------ A different mind is NOT a deficient mind. I'm an INxP...which means I fluctuate between INTP and INFP depending on the day of the week. Sun Cancer/7th Moon Virgo/8th Mercury Cancer/6th Venus in Gemini/5th Mars in Aries/3rd Jupiter in Taurus/5th Saturn in Sag/12th Uranus in Sag/12th Neptune in Cap/12th Pluto in Scorpio/10th Chiron in Cancer/6th ASC Capricorn IC Aries MC Libra Cancer Stellium 6th house stellium 12th house Stellium By Pullen, my most dominant signs are Cancer, Scorpio, Virgo, and Pisces. My dominant planets are Mercury, Pluto, Moon, Neptune, and Mars (the last 3 are tied for 11% ).
I can definitely see in my chart and in RL where the contradiction between the thinking function and the feeling function comes in for me. IP: Logged |

letram,I am skeptical of statistics. Besides, these tests are high subjective. Pychological tests of any kind are. I first learned about this stuff from reading the book, Please Don't Understand Me.
After reading the personality profiles, I felt that I was going to score as as an INFX,and I actually did.
I have fluctuated between INFP and INFX on results. I have scored INFP the last few times. I find questions on any test to be confusing. These psychological tests can be confusing because I will try to look different perspectives as well as the relativity of how I am in regards to certain situations at certain times.
I think that my idealism and my activist/advocate spirit gets influences me to lean more towards INFP than INFJ.
When I was reading stuff like Sir Galahad as an example of INFP type, I was like...........yeah. I grew up with a Knights of the Round Table mentality. The Arthurian Asteroids are strong in my chart. Moon conjunct Lancelot with 3 minutes of arc. Galahad square Ascendant with 10 minutes of arc. Mercury conjunct Camelot is less than 1 degree, and Arthur squares that within 1 degree. That's just few examples. I have other aspects too. I can relate to Knight Paladin, one of the Earth Angel types in Doreen Virtue's book on Earth Angels.
I even took an online test, and it said that I was mainly a Knight Paladin. ------------------ A different mind is NOT a deficient mind. Developmental Neurodiversity Association facebook group. http://www.facebook.com/#!/group.php?gid=131944976821905&ref=ts IP: Logged |

ISTJ Scorpio Ascendant (with Saturn in House I) Sun, Mercury, Venus in Cancer 8th house Stellium Moon in PiscesInterestingly enough I'm almost 50/50 on the Introvert/Extrovert scale. I can really go either way depending on who I'm with. If my need for emotional security is satisfied then I can be pretty extroverted. IP: Logged |

Traditionally, I'm an INTP but lately I'm an INTJ.Whats intresting is in my first year of college we did a myers brig test and 80% of the class was either an INTP, ENTP and INTJ. We did the same test on are last year and a third of class was an INTJ. You tell me if its a concidence because during that time period was when all the nasty things started happening in the world. I'm guessing we all "absorbed" the negative energy into us and changed are perceptions. ---------------------------------------- Capircorn Rising Gemini Sun, 5th House Aries Moon Mercury in Gemini Venus In Taurus

Your Moon in Virgo square Neptune indicates an extremely sensitive emotional nature that can be a psychic/emotional sponge, and it also can indicate an idealistic nature
I have the same aspect, but my Moon is in Pisces Your Neptune square Midheaven indicates an extremely sensitive and idealistic nature The cosmobiologists and uranian astrologers believe that the Midheaven was the most important and personal point in the Chart. They believe that it represents the aim in life, ego-consciousness, "The I"
Your Moon conjunct the Imum Coeli indicates a highly emotional, sensitive nature too. Moon conjunct the Imum Coeli is a powerful lunar influence. Moon conjunct any angle indicates a highly emotional, sensitive nature. Neptune squaring that Moon-Imum Coeli conjunction makes that Moon-Imum Coeli conjunction more sensitive as well as idealistic.
Therefore, it's no wonder that you can relate to INFP.
you may have other aspects that can ultrasensitivity like transneptunian dwarf planet/candidates (Pluto,Eris,Makemake,Haumea,Sedna,Orcus,Varuna,Ixion)or its nodes (heliocentric, geocentric) in aspect to Sun,Moon,Ascendant/Descendant,Midheaven/Imum Coeli axis
You also have Sun,Mercury,Mars, and Uranus in Scorpio which is a watersign. You have strong watersign influence. Watersigns are associated with emotions, feelings, sensitivity. That can factor into the INFP as well.
I have Sun,Mercury, and Venus in Scorpio as well as Moon in Pisces. Therefore, I have a strong watersign influence too. ------------------ A different mind is NOT a deficient mind.
