I think this might be what contributes to my 'dark romance' edge. It's not absolute, and I only really relate to the first two pictures -and the 'Masquerade mask' in the third, but I definitely can entertain haunting romances.

I think my Gemini Rising might make me like multi-colored vertical stripes.

If we're going into more nuance on what we like, blue may be my technical favorite, but there are lots of other colors I like.

I'm drawn to red, and shades of red darker than red. Wearing them gives me a little more edge, like I feel more dominant.

Artistically, I like combinations of cool colors like white, bright green, cyan when I'm feeling airy and clean. These kinds of colors are great to contrast with the deep blues, reds, and black.

I agree with your 'Stained Glass from the House the Planet's in' theory. I love the analogy. I think this could be from any Major planet of Sign influence in the person's chart though.

I wonder if the HOUSE of the planet would determine what colors a person may favor in that sector? For instance, a person with a crazy, firey, extravagant chart but with Cancer in the fourth house who decorates the baby's room in all whites and creams? haha Or a perfectly calm Cancer and Libra influenced chart that has Scorpio in the Seventh house and has a 'Dark Romance' deep red and black themed wedding? -oh how my venus in Aqua is showing my love of juxtaposition.

As I've mentioned a few times I have Venus in Air and I actually LOVE to wear black and white stripes (I actually LOVE Nautical wear too, but hey -water sign-) My mom dislikes this haha she thinks I should 'get away from' stripes. She's Virgo/Scorp/Leo and particular with what she likes..

But I digress. I think Venus in Aquarius is what makes me love awkward pairings in colors. For example, bright neon pastel coral paired with something camel-colored or an 'old fashioned' color with a bright modern something added in.

I don't know if you feel this. But sometimes I'll try to branch away to a different stone/colour, but it's like no matter what..your heart belongs to Turquoise. lol I feel kinda out there when everyone in the rooms favourite colors are like soft pink pastels and earth tones. And I am like this in your face neon turquoise colour lol.

Lol! I think everyone dreams of being original and artistic when they'r young but then by accomplishing that, in others point of view they just weirdo!And no one likes to be a 'weirdo'

I think Scorpio changes any picture, transformation or transmutation of what it touches. You actually start finding an immense beauty in the ugliness, death, sadness. And all in the most simplistic and nude of the forms.

I can relate to dark romantic stories and poetry too. The traditional song of my country is 'Fado' and it means Fate. The lyrics are poems of top level and it's sang with the emotion of it, even the guitar cries. It's so sad and beautiful that it hurts ;( many times makes me cry,like the tragic 'Romeo and Juliet'...innit beautiful?

Yeah, the 3rd pic what attracted me the most was the mask, the blues look like they'r hit by moonlight, there's some magic drawn from it, the silvers and the agressiveness of the dark blood in the pacific surroundings.

On the last one, is the ivory skin,sexy black glove,passion of velvet red, silver hint and mostly the blue stone breaking the depth of the darkness. I love contrasts within some harmony and elegance... like dark and bright blended together. Does any of this make sense! hahaha

ummmm... Deep red lipstick, no shine and rich like velvet. Only and only that!

Oi, do you think it's my Lilith in Gemini in the 8th house trying to advert and make Sccorpio colours and dark feminine taste popular?^^

Right now my favorite colors seem to be teal, purple, and black.
And when I say purple, a lighter purple color, but not pale.

and my sun is in Aries and my moon is in Scorpio.

I love Black...

I like red, magenta pink and dusky rose pink, they go with black.

I like royal blue, dusky blue and cobalt blue,but I hate any greeny blues.

I like all purples, unless their like lavender and too pale.

I like grey but that's my venus, so is the emerald and greyish green (Cammo print is mostly greens).

Yellow, orange and brown are gross and I refuse to wear anything white unless it's a lab coat...
