I have read this too but it doesn't necessarily have to be a planet or point right on the Aries Pts. but they can be conjunct the Aries Pts. as well (within 1 degree or so.) IP: Logged |

Hi guys.I am newly registered on this site. But love reading it. Came across the Fame indicators post. Thought I shall add in inputs. I am a libra rising with Mars in 10th, Saturn, Jupiter and NN in 11th, and Pluto, Sun, Moon, Mercury and Venus in 12th house. I am an actor by profession in India which makes me a bit famous with the local crowd. Im listed on Wikipedia too. Although, did not make it too big in showbusiness. Career has been transitory and fame too seems so. Coz, I think I'm fading away. Out of sight is out of mind. Thought I'll share my planet placements to see if it helps. :-) IP: Logged |

Yep! For me it works like that. And like Orange said. Mercury is my Asc. ruler and is conjunct MC in Gemini which is trine my Moon and opp Venus in 11th. Also have Sun and Mars in 10th, a lot of shine and energy. Pluto makes a wide conjunction with my Asc and Merc (ruler of Asc) is trine 11th house ruler which is the Moon. I am a public figure locally. At work everybody knows me; a very big school with thousands of students and like 500 teachers. I seem to always have public jobs and I like being a public figure. It really suits me. Not so much because of ego purposes but more sort of a mission thing I feel. Sharing and helping (north node Pisces). Nice thread!

Is there a list somewhere? Is it a combination of factors that indicate fame in a natal? Thanks in advance.
There are birth chart factors that can be seen repeating in the charts of famous people, but having them is no indication that you were 'born to be famous.' There is no need for a conjunction to the MC or planets in the 10th. Plenty of famous people don't have these. Instead, some have planetary parallels to the MC which can come from planets positioned well away from either the 9th or 10th houses. Many have oppositions, contra-parallels or square to the MC. Some 11th house planets often show up. These often involve Jupiter, Uranus, Sun, Venus, Neptune. Also, some have enough angular aspects to the Asc to trigger the ability to get noticed and have a relationship to the masses. Those aspects tend to involve Uranus, Jupiter, Sun, sometimes Venus. Basically any angular aspects that indicate enough drive to get noticed and do things 'big' (Jupiter again) or 'different' (Uranus) or to display grace and beauty (Venus, Neptune). And it is far more likely if the person has already had past lifetimes of getting noticed by the masses, experiencing the results, liking it and having it become part of their soul's karma and path. Fame isn't always kind and often has to be carefully negotiated. All this is based on my observations of validated charts with correct Ascendants, not a survey of whatever chart astrodatabank or asrtotheme has for someone. I don't even bother to rely on AA-rated charts at ADB. I verify each and every chart in a painstaking process before correlating such details. ------------------ Professional astrology - Expert rectification http://kannonmcafee.wordpress.com/ Rising Sign descriptions: https://kannonmcafee.wordpress.com/rising-signs-2/ IP: Logged |

I don't think houses really matter? I have venus and sun in 11th and I have NN, Fortune Mercury and Mars in the tenth. Jupiter, Saturn in the ninth. Haha, and I'm not born to be famous.IP: Logged |
