Lonake- guilty as charged! Love me some Aqua Moons! Risings too...somehow Sun a little less...but yeah I find Moons/Risings ability to detach and sense of humor really refreshing. GOOD CALL

Ami- I'm starting to feel like its paramount (looking at natals) before considering synastry. My most legitimate astrological reasoning for this is that our natals nothing can be isolated. Everything is working together. So overlaying charts and considering synastry is the same. For example...let's say you have the touted Venus/Mars conjunction with someone. But what if your natal Venus squares Saturn? It's not so great anymore. On a more vague, intuitive note- I don't necessarily believe we only tune into exact aspects. For example- I have Venus conj. Uranus. I really love Uranians. This occurs even when someone's planets don't make an aspect to my Venus/Uranus- I just like Aqua risings, people with Uranus in the first house, etc. I know a guy who dates a lot of Gemini women despite having no Gemini in his chart- BUT his Venus in conjunct Mercury and his Moon is in the third house.

As per the compulsive stuff we've been talking about- I think Pluto compulsiveness bares a much different mark than that of the Moon or Venus! Big distinction there to me! Moon feels like wanting to smother (at its worst) whereas Pluto feels like wanting to captivate (capture? lol) and maybe even destroy...

Unbelievably delicious and soothing. I love myself a Libra moon (and likewise, a Libra mars)

The way one loves and what he/she loves is opposite of the way other expresses emotions and feels, BUT similar - example gem and sagg

Venus in geminy is flirty, inconsistant, likes celebral stimulation - moon in sagg feels best when free, on the approaches emotions studiously - its quite similar, so that moon will actualy be comfortable with that venus expression of love - problem is the element that moon goes deeper, faster than venus that keeps it light and gentle, that moon might want more than venus carea to give; venus might get overwhelmed
