Sadistic people, people who take advantage of you, etc. It's a very difficult combo no matter how much you want to sugarcoat it.Fortunately, Saturn is more kind to you with time and experience, but dang, youth isn't a piece of cake at all with such a combo. I think it's extremely important to be very self-aware as soon as possible when you have this in your chart otherwise you go around being negative and pi$$ing people off, without even noticing that you are actually the one creating all the tension. It's easy to be cold and intolerant.. really easy. But I believe this is the negative expression of a Mars/Saturn aspect and needs to be transmuted into positive manifestations.
Do You have a natal Mars/Saturn hard aspect? If not, than you don't really know what it is like and are only assuming, which doesn't give much credibility to your post. If yes, than i can say that this aspects is handled differently by the native, depending on the whole chart. For me personaly, the only negative side is the occasional temper tantrums, which i admit can be bad. Im totaly liking my mars/saturn otherwise - it gives me great stamina, courage and confidence. I can be counted on to do the task at any cost. No obstacles. I won't change this aspect if I had an option.

Oh well, it's probably because I have other Saturn aspects in my chart as well. So the overall expression is more negative for me than for you guys.I have the square, actually Saturn squares my Sun, Mars and Pluto. And it opposes my Moon. I should have specified that.. sorry. Anyway, glad it works out for you! Hopefully I'll come to terms with mine.

Scorpio stellium square Saturn in Aquarius. 6th house VS 11th house, respectively. Moon is in early Virgo, in the 5th. They all form a T-square.Oh but I didn't mean to sound that bad. I mean sure, it was difficult at first (when I was just a teenager, oh God..) but now it's definitely easier. Plus I don't have temper issues. I'm usually cool and calm. IP: Logged |

that makes more sense now, Doux. Yours is a difficult chart but then again, it makes you stronger. You have A strong Sun/Mars/Pluto config. You can handle the Saturn and some more. ;-) IP: Logged |

Thanks, Orange! Sweet of you.My Sun is not part of the T-square and it's not conjunct Mars & Pluto though; phew, I think it's better that way! lol. Oh and sure I'm a strong person. We're all strong, some of us are just better at aknowledging and developing that strength than others.

Douxie, I've heard that Saturn/Pluto square is a difficult aspect in the natal. What Saturn tries to build with so much effort, Pluto would destroy. Many ups and downs in one's lifetime. I think Hillary Clinton has it but not sure. She's a strong and succesful woman, though, and a Scorpio at that.btw, your Moon in early Virgo conjuncts my Sun. *smooches* :-) IP: Logged |

Omg did you just give me a nickname? :drools: Thank you for showing me some support! It's definitely not an easy aspect, and mine is very tight, 1°. But ya know, I just don't focus on it much. Yeah, it's there, but I have other things in my chart, too! & I'm tired of focusing on the negative, really. So I just grab my Gemini ASC self and try to move it towards my Sag NN - which, by the way, isn't easy either cause it's on my DSC.. Okay, I'll stop talking about my chart now before I start crying cause it's a disaster
Aww Sun / Moon conjunct?! Cuuute Last time I had this one, was with a guy I was smitten with.. good times! What degree? mine's 1° (and it's the most aspected thing in my chart!)

Early Virgo ASC & Merc. here.I have a question for the Saturn/Mars guys, (only the harsh aspects plz) - Is it common that this aspect is *touched* in your (love-)synastry? - If so, how does that work out? Something to say about that? Namely, I heard some pretty bad stories about when it's connected to planets of the other. Some positives also? IP: Logged |

My Sun is at 1'07 Virgo. My South Node is at 1'27 Virgo and my ASC/DC is at 1'40 Pisces/Virgo. So your Moon is right on my Sun/South Node/DSC, munchkin... ay quote: Originally posted by mir: Early Virgo ASC & Merc. here.
We have the reverse ASC/DC conjunction ( mine is 1' Pisces-Virgo ASC/DC) and Douxie's Moon is on your ASC and on my DC. Ha! IP: Logged |

Wow, Orange, that's a hardcore conjunction you have! Huuuhu my Moon is right in the middle of it! But that also means my Mars, ASC and Nodes are all square your pretty stellium.. Dang, just yesterday I asked an astrologer what the effect of such synastry would be - when someone's angles/Nodes/Moon are afflicted, and someone puts their planets on one of these points, does it have to be tense and troublesome after some time, or is it actually great for growth and evolution? She hasn't replied to me yet but I'm very curious to have her opinion on the matter.Mir, Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but from my experience, it turns out badly. My father has a Mars/Saturn (loose) square, and his Saturn fell right on my mother's Moon/Venus opposition and let me tell you, it was a disaster (lots of abuse). I inherited the square from him, and so did my sister. Also, I was madly in love with a young man whose Mars/Saturn opposition fell right on my Moon, and therefore squared my ASC, Nodes and Mars, and ouch.. big, big ouch. We were attracted - actually in love - with each other but couldn't get past our inhibitions/insecurities and in the end he treated me very badly (he would imply I was nuts and ignore me and just be cold) and eventually, cut me out of his life. So, I guess unless the man with a Mars/Saturn affliction is very mature and has good self-esteem, they're bound to take out their personal BC on you..

I feel always energized when their Sun is on my asc. (3'50 virgo) no experience with Moon. I once had a psychologist with her Sun early Virgo and she ALWAYS had to laugh about me, even when I thought it was time to be serious or even *was* serious, and well.. finally it was just a show with ME (leo) on stage and her the happy-clappy audience, great therapy IP: Logged |

No way! I'm gonna stick to you like glue Your Sun on my Moon, dude! That's quite rare

Oh yes! Sun on my ASC/1st house = I'm literally more alive in their presence. Feels good. Unless it's riiiight on my ASC cause then it conjuncts my SN and triggers all kinds of natal contradictions and it's not very good.. rofl. Moon is needy of the ASC person.. usually. I attract Gemini Moons by dozens! they always consider me their psychologist or best friend lol.
And gosh, I always spill my guts to Virgo risers. It's automatic!

Wowie.. so it *IS* true .. Are there more stories to share about Saturn/Mars harsh natal aspects connected in synastry? Anyone? Thank you

another bad story sorry looolmy dad (double cap) has a mars/saturn conj (2 deg) in the last degrees of scorp which squared my mum's IC, nn, uranus conj (and his own 12h pluto rx and jupiter rx conj, t sq with venus). he wasn't faithful, he finally stopped mentally and emotionally torturing my mum (her words) when i was 6, admitted what he was doing and left. i think the mars-saturn apex in third house for him made him eternally antsy. and that's being kind. he may or may not have finally grown up now. he seems settled, albeit with the woman he was with before he met my mum *face palm* for me the prog aspect mars opp saturn certainly endows a gritty resolve. it's not all just mean ruthlessness IP: Logged |

Ruthless? No way.I have an exact opposition from Mars conjunct Sun in the 8th to Saturn in the 2nd. If anything I WISH I could be more ruthless, but I'm all about helping people and putting others first. Thats a weakness or a strength depending on who's reading this post My saturn is retrograde. my sun/saturn conjunction trines mars in the third. I feel like this aspect has placed alot of challenges in my life that have made me stronger. I do have a hard time getting motivated to do stuff sometimes, but i dont know if that is related to mars/saturn.IP: Logged |
