Cool, I've found another evil twin! Sorry, its a joke I formed between another knowflake years ago who also had Capricorn Sun/Cancer Ascendant (and where is the lovely InLoveWithLife, anyways? *sigh*) Thanks for sharing, I know I have more questions but they aren't coming to me at the moment. Well actually, here's one: do you find you can't control the expression of your emotions as much as you'd want to? Hope that makes sense.

Yes, it does make sense. The Capricorn part of me is a control freak and it has to deal with uncontrollable Cancer energy lol (my South Node is also in H1 Cancer), which needs to express emotions. For instance, I cannot hide my emotions, though sometimes I would prefer to not show them. But I cannot help showing what I feel and I understand it is part of my karma. There is a strong need to be true and many placements in my birth chart work towards this spiritual goal. It is not easy.

My dilemma is the opposite: its my exterior that is all control-freakery while my uncontrollable emotional/empath Sun is DYYYYING to get out. For instance, on Tuesday one of my patients fired me because I told quite bluntly what she needed to hear instead of what she wanted to hear. I keep going back and wondering "If I had said this differently..." or "If I expressed some sympathy first...", but at the same time she is one step away from pneumonia and possibly not EVER fully recovering from her surgery (a LOBECTOMY) because she was being so non-compliant with the plan of care, and her crazy daughter was either enabling her or controlling her. It was ridiculous. Its like there's an Angel/Devil on my shoulder with EVERY situation.

Actually, in such situations, I would tell the truth in Cancer way, meaning very softly and sensitively, although my capricorn sun and Aries Moon would rather say it bluntly. I suppose ASC Cancer is in this case a good thing for me. I always have the impression to look gentler than I am in reality, lol.

And you're right: Cancer can tell the truth too, but it always has the right words. I as an Aries Mars was not blessed with that talent, unfortunately. And me: I look more evil to others than I actually am in reality...TROLOLOL. Part of that may be pluto's involvement as well though. I remember in Highschool a substitute teacher literally came up to me and asked if she did anything to anger me...LOL. I was honestly at a loss!
