My sun is conjunct asc. (3 degrees), as is my Mars in most interpretations (10 degrees.) However, I don't feel that either of these register as first house placements. This is the first I've heard of this rule.IP: Logged |

People with this placement can be very sarcastic and critical. Often they require treatment for mood swings. A person with a moon in the Twelfth House may believe fervently in the occult. However they have a lot of lucky hunches that are completely false. They may also have a lot of delusions about their partner who is almost always cruel.People with Mars in the Twelfth House are often hiding a very explosive or dangerous personality beneath a calm exterior. If you have this placement of Mars you are probably a walking time bomb. As your entire libido goes towards feeding your anger you may not necessarily have a very high sex drive. You are more likely then most people to die from a violent act or accident.
I have both of these. IP: Logged |

Then issues accumulate and I implode not explode, I have had to consciously with great effort work on acknowledging when I am angry and vocalising it so it is expressed rather than repressed. Interesting that Britney spears and Alan sugar both have mars in 12th and are multimillionaires. Remember her (Britney's) buttons being pressed and she lashed out in the end so we saw another side to her. So the interpretation does ring true to an extent. The libido thing is wrong though I have a high sex drive as my mars aspects pluto as does my venus and all boyfriends have given good feedback so far (and as they are ex boyfriends they would probably tell me their criticisms as I know how they are ie tell me what they like and dislike).
Tottaly agree with you! Im glad britney has this placement I really like her. I also agree about the sex part-not true at all, in fact sexual intension helps me release all the suppressed anger.

Actually I totally disagree with this. The ascending degree is generally regarded the cusp of the first house. Any planet above is in house 12 (considered the darker side since the planet is invisible or "veiled" when here) when the planet is past the ascending degree, it is in house 1 considered on the "light" side of the ascending degree meaning it can be easily discerned. Uranus in 12th. The rage has been increasing a lot lately. Saturn having stationed retrograde right on my Uranus/Ixion, and Uranus being at 12th house cusp, and knowing I have the return trip in a few months when Saturn turns direct is not filling me with the utmost of confidence. Now the concept of Relocation Astrology, once I finally move to where I want to move, would put my Mars/Pluto/Venus stellium firmly in relocated 12th house. That after awhile, plus the natal Uranus 12th house... would I be asking for trouble? IP: Logged |

I try to acknowledge my feelings whenever possible by telling myself I am angry because of whatever, then I write about it. Writing REALLY helps with angers plus the style improves so much when anger is flowing through. It becomes very dynamic and the energy is soooo apparent in the work. I have done the same thing with drawings, channeled emotion into them so they are intense, my art teacher said she has never seen drawings that have made such an emotional impact on her when she looked at them. Have you tried channeling the emotion into creativity? P.S. I have Uranus in 12, too.

Understandable, but I'd have to agree with MertSerimer. Think of 12th house planets conjunct the Ascendant as a 12th/1st house blend--engaging both houses, yet not belonging strictly to either one. IP: Logged |

Alrighty, but I have a different experience with my three, all on the veiled side of the ascendant. Totally different from them being in h1. It's much more odd and not as straightforward. IP: Logged |

I do find myself at greater ease when I'm creative (writing, drawing or working on web design stuff), lately my energy's been drained. Like I sit down at home and the motivation goes, while all day at work I'm hardly productive lately because I'm thinking through all the creative stuff I want to do. Yet the energy? Poof. gone when I get home. Not that the ideas aren't still there. It's very frustrating. Like I'm blocking myself somehow... IP: Logged |

For me personally, I find the best way to deal with the 12th house energy, which is often very emotional, it involves deep emotional drives hidden from conscious awareness and it can mess people up because they are not aware, is to channel it into art. People respond so well to it. I hope everyone with 12th house planets manages this, attempting to find the emotion, channel it into creativity, which could be writing, drawing, painting, whatever, even crafts, just anything, and then show it to others to see the response. I did so well in art classes drawing upon my 12th house percolator. It's a really fulfilling experience and best way to channel this house imo. It is the way that least likely leads to trouble. My drawings I made in this one class had a life of their own, they were something else, and it's not just me saying this to brag about myself. I was amazed at how people reacted to them. Problem is, like you acknowledge, there's blockages. A lot of it has to do with lack of confidence in what I am doing, thinking it's not going to get me anywhere or benefit anyone which impedes progress and keeps me from being focused on one thing. I have sun in the 12th house and i dont work at night. Will never want to. Sun in the 12th house ususlly means loss of a father whether physical or emotional. My daughter has moon in the 12th house and she is not an abused child. Moon in the 12th house usually means mother issues. Either mother didnt care or was too over protective.
Im guilty of over protection. She is moody but so am i. we are both geminis. No partner will abuse her. I will stab him. If i die before a her bf abuses her then i will make sure i leave someone in charge to stab him if he abuses her.

I heard 12th House moon people have problems with their mother, it is TRUE for me. My mother is a dictatorship/CONTROLLING freak! She went to the extreme of checking through my trash, digging through my trash everyday. I can't breath, I feel that I am her prisoner, not her daughter. I move out of the house as soon as I went to college, and I ended up dropped out of college because I need to work full time to support myself, and paid my own bills. It GREAT to be independent, I never regrets it. I choose the same road again if I have to. Been on my own for over 10 years, and love it, love the freedom!I don't know if this related to my 12th House moon, but just want to share my experience with my own mother. I do have BOTH bio-parents raise me though. Frankly speaking, I love my dad more than my mom. I was never close to my mother, I cannot stand her controlling. IP: Logged |

That part of 'abuse' 12H Moon is also UNTRUE for me. I have a long term relationship in the past, and there was no abuse, I dump the guy due to him DARE to interfere on my financial independent principle. This is a very sensitive issue for me, so any guy who dare tell me to stop go to work, and be a stay at home wife, it will be an immediately the end to the relationship. Current guy right now is not abusive neither, he protective of me like I'm a baby. But who can tell the future, until he get abusive, or else this part of 12H Moon is proven Untrue for me. I've got Mars in the 12th- lots of repressed anger because I don't want people to think I'm crazy. I get comments all the time about how amazingly calm and non- threatening I appear..."do you ever get angry??" little do they know... lol. I've heard it's the aspect of a 'spiritual warrior' and that makes sense for me EmGem- I think the 8th house is what you consciously hide from others; the part of you that you're scared to expose, and the 12th house is what's hidden from you; parts of yourself that are deeply sub-conscious. Both houses have a lot to do with emotional pain though. IP: Logged |

I have Mars conjunct Neptune in my 12th house. I would agree that I do hold in anger and can explode. I feel like my anger is wrong to have many times. I also do fantasize about sex often. IP: Logged |
