Or any other significant North Node conjunctions in your natal chart (barring asteroids altogether). I really do feel like this is the shining jewel of my chart. So few information about this aspect in a natal context is available, but I wish there was because there is something so deeply magical about it. My intuition is so sharp, precise, and never leads me astray now that I've cultivated it to fit my needs. I feel it is next to impossible for me to do something I generally don't want to do or feel comfortable with - like there's always a guardian angel lurking around my mind that whispers, "no, this person is flighty, don't get involved with them." "no, this business venture is a terrible idea. It may seem glamorous, but there will be little fruits to collect once everything is said and done. Don't waste your time." And sure enough, my insights will be proven true. Mine is in the 5th house. I do feel that I'm always in the Right Place At The Right Time when it comes to making friends with wholehearted, sincere people and staying away from more eventually unsavory parts of a party or social cliques. It's very interesting. Anyone else have a North Node conjunction with one of the luminaries of your chart? How do you experience it/what sign/house is it in? IP: Logged |

I've got Venus/NN exact in the 5th house. I'm honestly haven't looked into the NN too much. Ami Anne looked at my chart and said that conjunction makes it my life's goal to understand love. I'd say that's pretty accurate, but I'm not really sure how it plays out in relationships. It's opposite Saturn and t-squared by Jupiter though. IP: Logged |

i agree that Node axis and contacts to it is very profound. i'm still not tuned into it well yet, still clumsily getting to know it. i have Moon conjunct SN. to NN, i have Pluto conjunct to it. to me, it almost too clearly displays my life in one line, it's a bit scary. as you know SN represent things from the past, things you grow out of, towards NN. it shows my family dynamic and my relationship with my mother. I have NN and Venus at 0' deg Taurus in the 11th. So, Moon conj NN gives you Moon-like traits.. such as being intuitive/psychic and very perceptive. That means Venus conj NN would have to give me Venusian traits.... hmmm I think for me it's a mixed bag of cookies because I have it opposite Pluto. I can be attractive but I am not as casual about love as Venus/Aphrodite is portrayed. IP: Logged |

For me - it feels more like the goal is to BE *love* or to be *lovable* and *loving*... with no Scorpionic double agenda (SN). The Scorpio drive is to 'own' someone mind/body/soul. The Venusian drive is more to have a relationship with another that is equal and mutually loving. Because it is in Taurus - the goal is also to be able to 'build' something.. which could be a romantic relationship, a marriage, a family, a house, a project and to be able to protect it from damage.... rather then destroy the things you build and always start over (Scorpio). Mine's at 17' Taurus It opposes Saturn in Scorpio. I put a lot of restrictions on love, which I guess seems easier to me since it's conjunct the south node. IP: Logged |

i have a natal moon conjunct SN------------------ I once saw a sign that said "sin is death" but if "all deaths are suicide (linda goodman)" and suicide is sin, then shouldnt "death is sin" be more appropriate? when organic is used to describe food then you know we have come to a dark age in history IP: Logged |

I have the conjunction of moon to north node in the 8th house. I'm very perceptive, intuitive, etc. Is it the conjunction between these 2 bodies that makes me see through everything, or is it the fact that it's in the 8th house? ( the orb of the conjunction is 8*). I also feel that this is a very good aspect to have. Hopefully my feelings/intuition will lead me towards my souls purpose with "the volume louder" for example than someone who doesn't have this conjunction.IP: Logged |

I have moon/NN conjunct accompanied by the MC in pisces. 9th house. It's easy to sense eventual outcomes of befriending/trusting other people. Those who pass my sense test are in for life. I readily forgive them unless they push my patience beyond its limits (which is very hard to do). Vivid dreams. I'm not very attuned to the higher purpose of that conjunction though. The only other thing I can think of is paranormal occurrences. That could have to do with heavy water, neptune and 12th house influence in my chart though. IP: Logged |

I have NN conj Pluto in the 6th and SN conj Eris in the 12th.I can't really describe the energy well. I guess the best way to put it, is I have a very strong ability to feel both separate from others and a strong ability to feel one with others. It can become so strong that I can literally not see a difference between my self and another person. If maintained, other people's feelings and thoughts can bleed into my own realm of thought and feeling. It feels to me like we all experience the same thought, feeling, self, body, but perceive it differently and therefore believe we are separate. The SN conjunction can pull me into a mindset where the entire world is a manifestation of my own mind and when I die I will just wake up from a video game within which I was playing the hero. kinda weird. oh and also, my NN conjuncts my MC, so my moon opposes MC------------------ I once saw a sign that said "sin is death" but if "all deaths are suicide (linda goodman)" and suicide is sin, then shouldnt "death is sin" be more appropriate? when organic is used to describe food then you know we have come to a dark age in history IP: Logged |

Ugh, I have my Unaspected Venus squaring my Nodes and I wish it had as much purpose as your Moon does. All this further proves is that love gets in the way of things, or I can't find a good partner to save my life. Depressing. IP: Logged |

i understand BM...my moon has directed me to the path of being a teacher however i simply feel either my dream job or my dream family will have to be sacrificed...buuut, i wont let that stop me, and since i wont i have joined a website called livemocha.com where i can both learn and teach languages as well as chat with other people...its really fantastic------------------ I once saw a sign that said "sin is death" but if "all deaths are suicide (linda goodman)" and suicide is sin, then shouldnt "death is sin" be more appropriate? when organic is used to describe food then you know we have come to a dark age in history IP: Logged |

What kind of teaching job do you desire? Is it something that will interfere with having a family? (like Traveling to teach English in other countries)SN conjunctions to me are something you can always fall back on. It doesn't always hold you back. I have various family members whos luminaries conjunct my SN and yeah, when I was rebelling in those teenage days I felt that they held me back, but now I appreciate what a great resource they can be in tough times. I also have my Virgo Moon about 9 degrees away from my SN (applying) but I'm not sure if that counts. IP: Logged |

Ah yes, I see....that is a tough decision to make. I had a friend who tried it out in Brasil for one summer and she said it was a very rewarding opportunity, but she was there short term and ended up returning to Massachussetts in the fall. I thought once about joining the Peace Corps after getting my RN, but I wouldn't know where they'd put me. Perferrably I'd want to be in Africa for obvious reasons, but who knows! Even though I'd be with my wider family (yes, I do feel all Africans are connected from North to South and East to West in some ways) I would miss my actual relations...LOL. Anyways, rhere are big pros and cons on both sides, and I hope you find the solution! IP: Logged |

I have my natal Moon and Ascendant conjunct my NN; and it thus squares my Pluto and Mars and opposes my Sun because I have a grand cross. S: I dunno to what extent it affects me, but I definitely agree that it makes me quite perceptive that I can see through one's facades.IP: Logged |
