I have venus square saturn in the composite, and also venus quincunx saturn. I think it's the same effect as in synastry, but a lot more final i guess, since composites are usually the outcome.IP: Logged |

Marriage, divorce, separation, children, relationship, busy career, unaccepted different culture or ethnic group, unaccepted different religion or sexual preference, greatly differing values, going to different schools or living a great distance (different countries) from each other are some reasons why the relationship will not thrive. Untouchable…. she or he is so high “above” or “below” me. Wanting the one who plays in the relationship, to work. Wanting the one who works in the relationship, to play. Feeling like a parent or a child. Having your love bubble burst or alternatively, feeling a love burden. Thinking one of you is not seeing the reality of the relationship. Thinking one of you is not open to love in the relationship. Getting the feeling that you could almost be together in-love but something always stops one or both of you. Longevity of love: Over a long period of time, somehow running back into each other but not taking it all the way to something of substance. Continuing to maintain the look and feel of a connection when no serious attempt will be made to make it physical. Having a long distance relationship. Being always away from each other. Having a sizable age difference i.e. 7-14 years — if not by chronology than by maturity or experience. Testing each others patience in love.
in my expereince it is exactly like that IP: Logged |

I have this aspect with a man I recently started dating (we had known each other longer though). He is 10 years older and when we met I had just separated from my husband and was completely emotionally destroyed. From a certain time distance, I feel as if his love gave me the strength to move on, love more and love myself...all great challenges for me. I never felt anything like it before in my life - not from my parents, from my sister, any single friend of mine, any boyfriend. No one. Of course, this is not just about this aspect, just describing how things are for now. Circumstances fit some other people's description so hope it's a useful post IP: Logged |

I do..his Saturn trines my Venus < 1° orb. Gives you the incentive to really work on your relationship for the better. Ex: oh you're mad? Ok...take your butt upstairs and we are going to talk about this until we figure it out. IP: Logged |

Lol so true....I get told that all the time. Another example of what he said to me one time when I tried to break up with him a couple years ago..."I'm not going anywhere and neither are you so get over it. Whatever the problem is, we will work it out eventually - now go to bed." Lol....bossy Capricorn man IP: Logged |

I have this aspect in synastry with someone very special to me. We've never been able to get together, the timing was never right, but have very deep running feelings for each other. We've been chasing each other since 2007. Never could connect, even after we had our own kids (not together), his two tours of duty, and even finding we were within walking distance of each other for a time.IP: Logged |

LOL... I went to go search for information on Venus Square Saturn, and found my blog post. haha! For anyone who is interested, this is the blog post the OP quoted: http://blog.virgovault.com/2011/0 2/12/synastry-natal-the-romeo-juliet-aspect-%E2%80%93-venus-square-saturn-in-love-%E2%80%93-problem-solution Part two (the solution) is here: http://blog.virgovault.com/2011/02/20/natal-synas try-astrology-the-solution-to-venus-square-saturn-in-love-%E2%80%93-part-two The quote about the Capricorn spouse saying: "I'm not going anywhere and neither are you so get over it. Whatever the problem is, we will work it out eventually - now go to bed." Lol....bossy Capricorn man " is the RIGHT approach, when in relationship... Saturn is ruled by Capricorn. Venus by Taurus and Libra! Take the Taurean / Capricorn approach... Warm regards, Abella IP: Logged |

I have this with the guy I'm seeing…we've been having an "eye" on each other for 3 months now so it's not so long… but already a week after I met him he was already planning to travel for 2 months, so I didn't hear from him in that time other than some few letters… but when he came back we have been together everyday for 1 week, cause I was also traveling when he got home, and now I'm reading for exams so I can't see him again….lol, I hope this is the only effect we will get from this aspect, cause I'm really falling in love with this guy, even though our lifestyles are totally different!IP: Logged |

This aspect can be a real pain if you don't have any strong positive aspects to support it. My most difficult relationship in my life is with my father. He's a 1956 3rd Decan Capricorn and he has Saturn in Sagittarius. Mind you, this squares my Venus in Pisces. I'm generally a kind, humble and patient young man but this man takes my humility as weakness when really I am anything but weak. He tries to bully, manipulate, fool and entrap me every chance he gets with the guise that he only wants the best for me, but he wants me to depend on him when really he wants to control my life and bank account. (Not. Gonna. Happen.) I've seen his true colors and I'm familiar with it, but in a typical Mars in Scorpio fashion, he throws up a smokescreen to onlookers to give them the impression that he's doing all these nice things for me when really beneath the surface its just manipulation tactics to lure me into the false pretense of attempts to bond with me when really he just wants to dominate and control me. He treated my mother the same way and she divorced him after she learned of his "fake, underhanded ways". His Saturn is Opposed her Moon. But Saturn aspects can be a real pain if you're not careful to spot it in the people who are in your life.IP: Logged |
