may i add...-In synastry the conjunction of Venus-Moon makes both people feel like they want to be married - yes - married, marriage, matrimony, bride-groom, both for the man and the woman, the whole shabang. It's not a guarantee but the feeling is there strongly. (well, i kinda feel like this towards him, like having the feeling of wanting to marry him someday LOL!!!...not sure if he does for me too! and it's different with other guys that i used to like cause this never, ever, not even a thought of this came out from my mind during the time that i was still liking them) IP: Logged |

It's a joint energy, no partner feeling it more, it just means emotional compatibility and caring about each other, and it's a lovely aspect.------------------ www.tarot-advice.co.uk/pics IP: Logged |

but we're not going out tho, does that apply? but i'm pretty sure that there is 'something'going on between us, but none of us is willing to admit....sometimes, he won't even say 'hello' to me or not even make eye contact with me all of a sudden when i'm near him >.< IP: Logged |

It really is such an interesting attraction. I'm recently experiencing it for the first time too and for the first little while it was a little like you described. Yours isn't pisces is it? mine is and I just figured that it brought out the shyness in both of us. let me know how it works out.IP: Logged |

whenever anyone's Venus conjuncts my moon, I do not feel a feeling of marriage for them, but rather just a really cool, relaxed friendship feeling where I feel validated by their reaction to me and I feel comfortable and happy around them. Not necessarily romantic, but close friendship.IP: Logged |

i'm not really sure if i have any friend that has their moon conjunct my venus...but i guess that you don't necessarily feel romantically attracted to that person if you two have this kind of synastry...prolly just the feeling of being all comfy around that person....but with this dude that i'm talking about, the feeling is just strong i can't help not to avoid it IP: Logged |

it is in scorpio...i also have 3 planets in scorp (venus, jupiter, pluto) while this guy i'm talking about has 5 (sun, moon, venus, jupiter, pluto) which makes him such a shy flirty guy... >.< he's soo hard to read!! i am shy too (virgo sun)but my outgoing personality usually comes out due to my saggi moon....sometimes he acts like he's interested then sometimes tries to distant himself away from me freebrainstorms, do you mind sharing your experience in regards to this aspect? aside from the "shyness" thing going on? does it feel awkward when you two are together but at the same time this awkwardness doesn't bother/intimidate you?, well that happens to me sometimes... yeah it's kind of awkward. kind of like there isn't enough space in the room for both of our emotions? but it feels almost perfectly full at the same time? i'm not that close with him yet so i've only been around him around mutual friends and/or lots of people, but we can't seem to stay away from each other whereever we are. honestly, i can't wait to get him alone, but i'm not so sure that we should be alone together unless there's a lock on the door.IP: Logged |

It's a sweet, cozy, touchy-feely, soothing, comforting sort of aspect, the sign matters a lot as to how the energy of the conj will be expressed.I have the conj natally. I know you mean synastry but that's what it is like. You want to soothe the partner and take away their concerns and worries. Venus person is that balm for the Moon. There can be an appreciation for the looks of the partner, from each person's pov. In a man's chart Moon relates to wife or committed long term partner whereas Venus relates to the girlfriend on the side. If a woman's Venus is conj man's Moon he'd appreciate her feminine desire nature and see it as compatible with the type of woman he would want to bear his children, etc. It 'feels' like a good Moon match for him. Check mark. But his Venus would also have to be satisfied to sustain interest. Moon is the trust that we can have in another, you need to trust a woman to be able to really commit to her, but Venus is what is going to keep his eyes turned to you and not another (not guaranteed, it just tends to be that way). He could easily see his Venus in another, for example, or ideally have his own artistic outlet where he can channel his Venusian excess. Anyway, evaluate the aspects Venus makes in one chart and the aspects Moon makes in the other to see how comfy they are with that side of their nature. Someone with Moon in Aries sq/opp Saturn who meets someone who has Venus on their Moon may appreciate the experience on one hand and simultaneously push it away which just results in added stress which is not attractive. Maybe more comfy for that person would be someone whose Venus is in Leo or Sagittarius trining their Moon. Also evaluate each chart for aspects/sign emphasis/placements that indicate sensitivity, they would appreciate Moon/Venus more than others. IP: Logged |

@lonake: thanks for the explanation but i heard others say that the venus person (me) usually falls in love with the moon person(him) first but in my situation, i wasn't even aware that he might be interested in me until my friends brought up this topic. I thought we were just good friends (i even tried to ignore my feelings for him to convince myself that we're just really friends as that's what i tell everyone else). i just started to act on my feelings when i realized that everything's just like slipping out of my hand. i almost lost him as a friend and i don't want that to happen agaain. i just thought it was odd cause the moon person liked the venus person firrrst. . . . . hehehhe@doreen: how can sun conjunct venus be amazing? can you please explain why? my venus is in conjunction with his sun. sometimes when its just the two of us are in a room together, we'd all be like chatting, laughing and try to keep the conversation going but some other times it'll be like just plain awwaaaard because when we're with our other friends, we'll become suddenly quiet around each other as if we never spoke to one another before! THAT'S HOW SHY WE ARE!!! i'd consider the two as friends because we've talk about aloooot of stuff and he tells me things i'm pretty sure he wouldn't just tell any girls LOL and we've known each other for quite a long time. what i just don't get is what i just said earlier, like being all shy around each other when we're out with our friends... as if we're just trying to play it cool, like both of us are trying to show a calm exterior... :/

Things like that are subjective. I don't respond well to Sun conj Venus. I typically view the Venus person as v.attractive physically and I like the way they dress but that's as far as it goes for me. When my Venus is conj their Sun I'm not charmed or delighted by them, none of those things; I find them dull.

"the venus person (me) usually falls in love with the moon person(him) first" ---Yea that's typically how it's stated, that Venus feels the affection first but is def not a rule. Just see my response above, I don't respond well to people who have Sun on my Venus but I do to those with Moon there. So it's more a case of looking at the natals first when you have two people who might be interested in each other or are dating/married.IP: Logged |

Hi Lonake,What do you think in your natal chart explains, that your venus conjunct s.o.'s sun leaves you cold? Is your venus in a quite neutral house or is afflicted? I'm interested because I used to be the sun in a sun-venus connection and was completely blown away by the guy. He as the venus person seemed attracted, but it was always ambivalent and never clear.....In the end he ended up with someone whose venus conjuncted his moon! IP: Logged |

I think the composite is more important in understanding a relationship because it shows how both people feel towards each other. Have you looked at the composite?IP: Logged |

I experienced both: Sun-Venus conjunction and Moon-Venus-conjunction (I was Venus both times). I definitely prefer Sun-Venus. But that was probably because the Moon-Venus-guy was a psycho. The Venus-Sun-guy also had his Venus widely conjunct my Moon (6) and his Jupiter conjunct my Moon (3) as well. and his Mars widely trine my Venus (4) Plus we were having a Venus-Pluto-DW his Venus trine my Pluto (1) my Venus square his Pluto (0) So I guess it was more the whole of these aspects, that made us very comfortable around each other. Actually it is the synastry that shows how two people are affected by each other and feel for each other. The composite shows the relationship and what is manifesting there.Always interesting to see what of the synastric attraction really makes it into the chart of the relationship, and what is being modified. Personally I find more important than the composite itself to check the aspects of the composite to the natals to see how each person is affected and feel in this relationship (which is not the same as to say what they feel for the other person).
