Ohhh this is fun lol! I love all these perspectives and I have to say, I understand the negatives of my Aries moon for sure.Aries The lower vibration is definitely egoistic, impulsive, and aggressive, but the higher vibration is a true warrior of justice and equality and spontaneous, fun to be around. Can be childlike or childish lol. My dad has Aries moon in his 8th and it's swamped by all his Libra, seriously a zen master who doesn't know he's a zen master, but secretly competitive and cares deeply about justice and fairness. Same with a Virgo/Aries I met once, very wise and peaceful, relaxed guy, but with a deep conviction about right and wrong. A Gem/Aries I know is a social justice warrior. Aries moon has an emotional need to fight for what's right, and thrives on challenge, wants emotional growth. They are fighters, and IME, it's usually for a good cause.
Taurus I know a few. The higher vibration is very nurturing, sweet, and bubbly, the lower is (like all lower vibrations) totally about themselves and untrustworthy. They are all over the spectrum to me, I have trouble finding the common denominators, but I think the theme is security (of whatever kind is particular to them)… I know a Sag/Taurus I love dearly, a mother, teacher, nonprofit worker - incredibly bubbly, fun, genuine, just like a Pisces/Taurus I know too. But I recently met an Aries/Taurus (inverse of me) who I can't stand, and I think his emotions are very shallow, he comes across as sociopathic to me. I had an immediate bad instinct about him. He's a determined social climber who does nothing if it doesn't serve his own purpose. A Gem/Taurus I know is a mother/yoga teacher, very loving and lovely, but duplicitous and seems selfish too - kind of in between the other two. Both of the last two give a good impression of caring for others but it seems more for appearances. They're very thoughtful though and will do acts of service, but it's just never without an agenda, especially for their own material wellbeing.
Gemini My best friend born three days after me is a Taurus/Gem. I love her. She needs an intellectual connection for any kind of relationship/friendship, and really needs verbal exchange. (Her husband is a double Libra!) She's utterly loyal, probably due to other placements, but just to disprove the duplicitous Gem stereotype! She is high anxiety though and I think Gem moons have that in common with Virgo moons due to Mercury rulership. The other Taurus/Gem I know strongly desires independence financially and emotionally. My sister's best friend is an Aries/Gem, very immature in terms of her consciousness level, but a sweet girl who's just very confused and divided lol. She needs a lot more growth in the self-worth department, but don't we all!
Cancer Ohhhh Cancer moons. I fell deep into limerence for a double Cancer who changed my life during my waning Saturn square. Utterly loyal, honorable, gracious, but self-protective to the point of not letting ANYONE in. I think he was in a very difficult period of life. Very sensitive to the moods of others and extremely compassionate, but could hold boundaries surprisingly well. He taught me so much. A Gem/Cancer I know also seems deep-feeling and compassionate, though I don't know him too well. One Virgo/Cancer I know is pretty neurotic and sensitive, but extremely funny and flamboyant too. Another Virgo/Cancer also extremely sensitive, has a big victim mentality and persecution complex, it's like, dude, "climb down off your cross, use the wood to build a bridge, and GET OVER IT." (He is married to the Gem/Taurus I mentioned above.) Strong, strong identification with his family, to the point that none of his three adult children have left home, and he continues to support everyone whilst complaining about it! He just will not put his foot down or stand up for himself because he wants someone else to fight for him, like he is looking for a protector/rescuer. All of them had a young attraction to marriage and/or building a home. Deep-feeling, these moons.
Leo I don't see the commonalities between the ones I know, which is strange. My Virgo/Leo best friend, it's hard to distinguish between the Virgo and Leo TBH. She comes across confident and vain, and she always has to be right and you can never teach her anything or tell her anything new, total know-it-all. But with Virgo ASC she's very good at giving the impression she doesn't care about attention, but she actually deeply needs constant attention and attraction by the interested sex. A Cancer/Leo I know, I don't see vanity at all. She's a big talker so maybe enjoys attention at a party or a table, and doesn't shut up sometimes, but she feels insecure about it afterwards lol. The last one I know is Pisces/Leo and definitely has an ego, needs his domain of control and is quite sensitive.
Virgo NEUROTIC. NEUROTIC AS HELL. Controlling, critical, anxious, but INCREDIBLY loyal and dedicated, full of selfless service and can devote their lives completely to others, usually to their own detriment and also as a form of emotional control/survival. (If they need me they won’t leave me” is the mentality.) The closest and most toxic people/relationships in my life. I attract them like mosquitoes. I had a Gem/Virgo mother figure and a Virgo/Virgo best friend who are like this. Criticism as a form of control. Another Gem/Virgo friend is also highly anxious and neurotic. My Cancer/Virgo former colleague wasn’t too bad with this, but I wasn’t as close with him; he did want to control his work sphere though, and felt threatened if you overstepped. My Cap/Virgo former mother-in-law is super sweet, extremely loyal, OCD. My new Scorpio/Virgo friend is also extremely sweet, but cheats on all her boyfriends and has a desperate need for attention. I find all Virgo placements (sun, moon, or ASC) very desperate for attention, especially from the interested sex - they need to be desired, again I think it is a survival thing. However, my Pisces/Virgo friend who is not conventionally attractive and so doesn’t have this option is very sweet… tries to control more through emotional guilt-tripping and is anxious and doubting about whether people really like him. Extremely self-deprecating and overapologizes.
Libra The lower vibration Libra moons I’ve known are very classist and insecure social climbers who snub anyone below their station, but the higher vibration ones I know are very fair, patient, selfless partners, if indecisive. My brother-in-law is a Pisces/Libra and my best friend’s husband is a double Libra, and they’re both EXTREMELY patient and dedicated to their anxious partners. Really they blow me away with their patience and tolerance and I can’t believe my sister and my friend are so lucky! These Libra moons are seriously loyal. I know a Virgo/Libra who is just a super vain, ****** person, extremely rude if she deems you “unworthy” or not cool enough for her crowd. Such a snob without the credibility to back it up. A Taurus/Libra I know is also a snob, craves attention and yet snubs it - both of them do. A Cancer/Libra I know is pretty insecure about her social class - that’s what they all seem to have in common. It seems to me Libra moon does better with yang type people and the lower vibe comes out with yin.
Scorpio Ooof someone please explain these sexpots to me lol… They are so deep feeling, EXTREMELY wise (my favorite thing about them), really intuitive and almost psychic about people. That doesn’t necessarily translate to selflessness, but there is empathy there even if they are self-centered. A Gem/Scorp I know is like this, will talk more about himself but is also kind of waiting for you to talk about yourself, and he’s very inquisitive when you do. Sharp, insightful, I think he’s a genius. My Pisces/Scorp friend is the more compassionate, selfless kind, and it’s hard to get her to open up. They both have their walls up, but her moreso - she has that feminine training to make everything about others. But wow, what wise people. You can learn so much from them even in the shortest conversation. I really love them and could listen to them for hours. And I’ve recently (well, a year ago lol) fallen for a Virgo/Scorp who I just want to know everything about but he always turns his interrogation onto me lol. I also have a Virgo/Scorp friend who’s just so oriented to selfless service, seems like a great combo with the Virgo. But also neurotic/controlling. My other best friend’s boyfriend is a Sag/Scorp and I don’t know him as well but he is extremely peaceful yet deeply emotional and can be very vulnerable with her. He and the Gem/Scorp are more controlling and possessive though.
Sagittarius LOVE LOVE LOVE. They mesh with my Aries moon really well. They are so generous, fun, and I think this is the sign of genius (Mozart, Beethoven, Einstein, etc. the list of Sag moons is crazy and I’m jealous lol). They can be really selfish though, not in a mean-spirited way, but in a way that’s totally ignorant of the idea that other people exist and also have feelings. My former husband (Aqua/Sag) had this and he is just the most generous heart, pure soul. Could master anything he set his mind to, really brilliant. There is something very childlike about them, in a great way, but they still have this maturity and wisdom that is lovely. Even the Sag moon I don’t like much, a Gem/Sag, is extremely good at what she does even though she’s the most boring person I’ve ever met lol. Also when I was little I fell into my friend’s pond and her Leo/Sag son jumped in and saved me without hesitation. I’m sure it was not as dangerous as I remember but he’ll always be my hero lol!
Capricorn These are all over the map for me. Either very cold or very controlling or both lol. Sometimes they can be extremely emotionally immature, like insanely so, it’s like the Capricorn energy backfires. Almost always put together though. I worked with a Libra/Cap who was just super smooth and great at getting along with people, but very very remote and impossible to get close to. It was weird because he was friendly and easy to talk to, but he wouldn’t ever be vulnerable or hang out with anyone outside the office - a shame because he was so lovely. But his jealous wife never wanted him to hang out with his female coworkers. We worked briefly with a Scorp/Cap who was just like Beyonce level put together and good at everything, never broke a sweat, but cried when she quit the job. Really sweet, I admired her a lot. Our boss was also a Cap moon, a Virgo/Cap, and she was NUTS. Extremely bossy and controlling and narcissistic. Thought she read everyone like a book but she was so wrong about everyone and we all saw through her. She thought she was some kind of mastermind but once she realized you saw through her she would lose her sh**. She only hired really young people so she could groom them to worship her. I have a lot of compassion for her though, she’s obviously a wounded person. But get her the f*** away from me lol. Now recently I encountered a Taurus/Cap who is quite affable and funny and able to be vulnerable, but also a Cap/Cap who is just very cold-hearted, ambitious, arrogant, and dating a guy I think is a total sociopath. She cares way too much about being liked, being perfect and pretty and popular and the best in the class. Both of them are young but even for their age, very emotionally immature even if they seem put together on the outside. I knew another double Cap who is just the opposite, total mess, stoner musician type.
My sister is a bizarre exception, I don’t see her Cap moon at all. She is an Aquarius. She is very weak emotionally, always “stressed” despite having no job, no ambition, almost no responsibilities, and her husband always takes care of her. She is extremely sensitive and cannot handle the slightest criticism. However she is very socially intelligent and can respond maturely in those situations. Maybe I see more of the craziness as her sister.
Aquarius Caring but repressed. They do have big humanitarian hearts but their love is impersonal. It’s like they see emotions but they can’t access them. But the wonderful thing about their detachment is that they are… detached! lol. They’re not easily upset by things and really don’t care what others think. I admire that a lot. I dated a Sag/Aqua for a long time - the inverse of my former husband and the differences were very clear. My Aqua moon ex is very much the avoidant attachment style, very caring and dedicated but would never fight for anything, lacks passion. There’s something sooo cold even though they have genuinely good intentions. I recently met another Sag/Aqua and he is exactly the same: values emotions but doesn’t feel them much. It’s like the feelings are somewhere “over there”. I know two Gem/Aqua men who are both just totally devoid of compassion though, and very self-centered. But a female Gem/Aqua friend of mine is very compassionate, spiritual, and caring. They are all social and friendly and like to have fun. They’re great in a group dynamic. And generous of their time and talents.
Pisces It’s hard for me to write about Pisces moons because my mother was a double Pisces and a violent alcoholic… so setting THAT example aside, I can say the others I’ve known were very compassionate and extremely wise. They are all (my mother included) incredibly intelligent, book-smart people, which I think Pisces doesn’t get enough credit for. My Libra/Pisces friend is the one I go to for any kind of spiritual or intellectual connection, she just blows me away in every single conversation, I just am enamored with her. I know another double Pisces who is lovely and generous and friendly and fun but also manipulative like my mother. It’s like there’s a Jekyll/Hyde thing going on with the double Pisces.
