It isn't as though very many women would give the time of the day to an overweight man. No double standards. It is what it is. Some are amenable, some aren't. Just like high school. There are Biff and Buff with the single digit IQs, and then there are the geeks and nerds. Likewise for cheerleaders and the less sociable but brainy girls.IP: Logged |

My brother is a capricorn (b. 1/3/77) and he adores plus size women! I had a capricorn male friend in high school and he was attracted to plus-size women as well. IP: Logged |

I think Cancer is the sign that doesn't care if a woman is "thick." I have known several and they had no problem being with a "big girl." I think it is because Cancer is home-oriented and food is an important part of family life. Cancers love food in general therefore they are not likely to "pass" on a woman because she is overweight. I have a Taurus Sun/Merc/Venus and Virgo Moon male relative whose wife is plus-sized and he would never leave her for it, never criticizes her about it, ever. He's really supportive of her attempt to lose weight when she tries too.He's been with her for over 10 years and about 8 of them she's been plus sized and this has never deterred their relationship. The same can be said about women as well, I have many planets in Cancer and Jupiter on my Ascendant, and I like my men abit husky(not fat). Men that are too skinny don't do it for me, my husband has a build that is like a hockey player, and that's fine with me  IP: Logged |

my bf has venus in aqua and a virgo rising. he likes 'juicy' women. i'm very thin and he always comments on how he would prefer a thicker/bigger woman. my brother is also into larger women - he has a sag moon, cancer sun and virgo venus. althuogh most magazines and tv would have us think otherwise thin isn't always in with men - i have found most of my bfs comment on watning me bigger, lol. so don't think added pounds = guys not interested! many many are!IP: Logged |

Plus sized, thick, fat, juicy none of these things actually tell you anything because everyone has a different idea of what is considered those things, according to the new fashion guideline a size 6 is considered plus size, stupid I know. Back to astrology: Virgo sun/moon/mars libra venus I dated preferred very thin, size 2 at most a size 4. A Cancer sun/mars with virgo venus male friend of mine is a bum, boob and thigh man,with proportion he really loves the bum..... Another Cancer Sun/pisces moon/gemini venus/aries mars preferred either just not overweight.

I've had weight problems off an on my life, and the guys that never cared what I looked like in terms of weight were ALWAYS heavily Aquarius/Uranus influenced men. In fact I would look at Venus/Moon/DSC Uranus/Aquarius men as they really make you attracted to a persons mind. If they are attracted to your mind, then they will be attracted to your body. After that I would look at Moon/Venus/DSC in Cancer and Taurus. They would go for a roundness. Perhaps she could be plus sized, but they would prefer if she is round (but if it's in the right places). Another I have found is Moon/Venus/DSC in Aspect to Jupiter or in Sag. In my experience they will really be into different races/cultures but that tends to bleed into wanting a girl who is thick (but not huge if you know what I mean lol). I dated a Libra with Venus and Moon in Virgo (BUT Asc/Mars in Taurus and he likes bigger women...esp if they have a butt). I also dated a triple Gemini (Sun/Moon/Venus) but has his Mars in Taurus and again likes larger women. Actually he wanted me to gain weight as he was into REALLY large women. Which was strange. Both him and the Libra were very physically fit and muscular men who worked out and took lots of pride in their bodies and being in shape. I remember WAY back when my very first bf (at 14 years old) was an Aquarius Sun/Mercury (with Venus/Mars in Aries) and he was obsessed with me. He had a Virgo Rising and Cap Moon. We were friends, and my caring nature won him over. He was into me for a long time. It continued on for about two years...and I played too many games and it ended. With us not being friends. But still. This was at a point where I was my largest. And he didn't care what others thought of me. Another Aquarius bf that comes to mind was an Aquarius with Virgo Moon and Venus/Asc in Cap who I went through weight shifts and he didn't care either). Again his Virgo Moon LOVED being cared for. You would have assumed his Cap Venus wanted a stick. But his DSC was in Cancer, and his Mars in Aries was Conjunct his IC (so he was a boob guy!). Plus it was further reinforced that his Moon was Square Saturn/Uranus and Opposite Jupiter. So emotionally he had a thing for girls who were in different races/a little larger. Plus he had Venus Conjunct Neptune. So that probably added an element to it. IP: Logged |

I second everbody who said they got more attention from men when they were heavier, same happened for me when I was close to 140 lbs and I am only five feet. Got cat calls every other day. Now I am 120 and it is significantly less.
I do not know many men who knowingly chase skinny girls unless they are still in high school or middle school.
With that being said, I've seen Sagittarians, Taureans (actually lots of them), Cancers, Aquarians, and yes even a Leo and Libra go for "plus-sized" women. As a Taurus Mars woman, skinny men just do not do it for me. A lot of my bfs have been on the thick side, no one obese but definitely a lot bigger than me. When I did date a skinnier man, I was like... eh why can't I picture myself kissing him? I felt like a douche but it is what it is. I'm pretty sure a lot of guys have felt that way about me too. I had a Cancer guy with Moon in Scorpio, Venus in Cancer tell me he didn't like skinny girls, and an Aries with Venus in Aquarius tell me I wasn't his type (he likes my Scorpio friend with Mars in Libra). There was also the Scorpio sun/Sagittarius who's been flirting with me since freshman year of college. Overall I've had chances with two Taurus guys that I turned down, went on a date with a Taurus who was a freak show (but hey, you could tell I was chubby in my picture - so it counts towards the discussion!) One had a Pisces moon, and one had an Aries moon, and I can't remember about the third Taurus. The fourth Taurus I know right now is a lot younger than me but I think he is intimidated by my size. I still think he's attracted to me though because even though we're friends, he's still a little nervous around me. He has a Scorpio moon, Mars in Leo. Finally, I can think of three Leos I knew who thought I was attractive (I'd also like to note I'm heavier than any of the posters who've listed their weight so far). One had a Sag moon with Capricorn rising, one had a Capricorn moon, and one had an Aquarius moon. None of them have ever mentioned anything about my weight though. I guess because it was obvious? Anyway, like Ail said - what is fat, not fat is subjective. But I thoroughly enjoy pondering over everyone's responses. IP: Logged |

Considering a size 12 for women is plus sized - this whole thread is just a matter of personal perception. I'm therefore a plus size and have never really had a problem with a shortage of admirers - and, yes, even men that are good looking and successful and could 'get' a skinny girl! Imagine that! oh and as a woman... I can't imagine going for some thin, frail guy (not since I was in high school anyway). I generally like thick guys. > IP: Logged |

italians.  at least the one's i've come across good lord they get so dumbfounded when they see a beautiful plus sized woman their jaws drop and they are forced to utter words like "have we met before?!"  italy is taurean so i guess yeah taurus. i personally prefer them skinny but idk if that's because my 1st partner was a skinny virgo and she sorta became the template or if it's coz i'm asian and most here are pettite and skinny therefore conventional, which my venus in taurus digs. i've also dated and had a huge crush on a plus sized one but like moonwitch she had a boatload of admirers.
