I need opinions based upon comparative experiences. Everyone has differing opinions on the web, what's your objective viewpoint?...IP: Logged |

I don't have a very strong view point on it... I have the suspicion that the person who falls in your house will FEEL the aspects of that house more. Ie: Every time my Sun hits someone's 7th, *I* seem to be the one who is way more into them.IP: Logged |

Hi Amowls! Thanks for the input! I suspected as much. The consensus I tallied from discussions, was the opposite. However! I compared my synastry with another guy and thought "Well if all of these planets of mine hit houses, why doesn't he feel and act as attached as ppl are saying?" It only makes sense to think my planets overlaying his houses would make me feel "at home" with him

This will be something for you to pay attention to...I love trying to understand "house overlays" and you could play with it with anyone elses chart to understand how you effect one another in certain rhythms of life. It highlights where things can abound and where things may have/can fall apart...Basically synastry of your planets to their houses...

My experience has been that the ‘house’ person feels it more… but sometimes this is reversed, and sometimes it is felt equally…unfortunately this is just one of those topics in astrology where the outcome of who feels it more can be unpredictable…. Although again, my experience does indicate that it is usually (but not always) the house person… and in each relationship the balance of who feels it more will be a little bit different depending on many factors…like aspects for instance…

Hey Lotis White! Thanks for giving the feedback When you said depending upon many factors, I quickly gasped...because yes its clear you have to patiently breakdown the synastry of the chart...

I'm so confused now I'm taking my time to assess not only this guys particular chart, but two other persons as well. One being a good gf of mines and another of someone I've dated.I think with this ex companion of mines...our synastry is just a touch more complicated to map out as a rookie in astrology is all... It is hard to say cuz you have to gauge it. I had my moon, Sun, Venus and Merc fall in someones 12th house. I felt it very, very strongly. I am not sure if he felt it as strongly or not. For me, I never felt anything like it, before, ever. It felt like I was living in his unconscious, like I knew him that deeply. Has anyone had this kind of thing where you had 4 planets in someones 12th house? IP: Logged |

Me and Libra-friend know each other like, inside and out. The only twelfth house action that's going down with us is her Sun or her Moon, depending on when I was born, in my twelfth. Maybe it's her moon, 'cause I completely know how she feels and how her emotions manifest, etc. IP: Logged |

Yes, Red Scorp I had 4 planets there, but the moon, alone, may do it!------------------ Want a peek in to my journal? http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

I'm glad you asked this Q because I've been pondering it for a while. I'm thinking that planets, especially luminaries, "light up" (activate) the house. Example: I find myself playing secretary for Pisces people because they activate my 6th house (mostly covered by Pisces). Where Venus falls will be where she'll encourage or support the House person in that area. But if Venus is badly aspected, will manifest in a sordid way. For example, if a woman's afflicted Venus falls in a man's 10th house, she may end up drawing negative attention in his social sphere due to his association with her. If Venus is well-placed and aspected, she will be a trophy wife sort to him. The Venus person may not necessarily enjoy the 10th House person's chosen career path or social standing, but Venus will be employed in this area nonetheless. When it comes to angles though, these seem to affect the House person's VIEW of the angle person. If a lover's ascendant falls in your 5th House, you will regard him as a source of entertainment or fun sex. But if his rising is in your 8th, then you will see him in an intimate way. So..that's been my experience in a nutshell.

I had some guy put Sun/Moon/Mars and some other things in my 12th, no where to hide from him, felt utterly exposed, all my nerves on edge, indescribable feeling. It was as if I hardly had any control over my reactions to him. This was all in Cancer, so my experience of him was v.emotional, Cancer in a Water house. He was one where I could not act aloof and distant no matter how much I tried. IP: Logged |

I think it goes...best way I can explain it is with an example.Say one one person's planets fall in the other person's 7th house. I think the person the 7th house belongs to, is the one that feels it. Does that even make any sense? I think I've been up too long... IP: Logged |

I had Sun, Mercury, Mars and Venus in Libra boy's 12th house. As you know, I wasn't impressed much. He definitely felt it more than I did. He wanted to "save" me, ended up hurting me when he stood me up this week-end. IP: Logged |

How did that happen that he stood you up? Was he angry about something?

This is how my Sun-in-partner's-12th experience went as well. No matter how much he professed his love, I didn't believe him because his actions didn't match, and he attempted to string me along by obscuring the truth. I saw through him. He must have thought I'm totally stupid.IP: Logged |

No, everything was going great from my point of view... We were set for taking a trip in the mountains, I went to the carwash coz we were taking my car and to get a haircut, get myself pretty-up for him. We settled that after I get home we'll make hotel reservations and settle the details for the trip..... When we had that conversation, he told me how excited he is about this trip, about me etc.... except after I got home he no longer responded to my calls, texts or msn messages... Just disappeared into thin air. Today (3 days later) he apologized and said his INSTINCT told him to stay away from me because nothing will come of it. I guess I overwhelmed his 12th house or something. So I told him to go where the sun don't shine and never contact me again. He could have had the decency to say "hey stupid, I no longer want to be with you, I'm not going on this trip"... instead, he had me waiting by the phone, worried something might have happened to him, coz he seemed like a nice guy and didn't think he could be capable of such a thing and he totally ruined my week-end and wrecked havoc into my self-esteem as well. No more Libras. EVER. I was right to stay away from them. We just don't mix. He had the nerve to send me virtual kisses along with his lame excuse of an apology... How friggin' Libra (and totally ANNOYING) is that!! ------------------ Whatever you give to a woman, she will make it GREATER. Give her SPERM, she will give you a BABY. Give her a HOUSE, she will give you a HOME. Give her GROCERIES, she will give you a MEAL. Give her LOVE, and she will give you her HEART! She multiplies and enlarges what she is given. So, if you give her CR@P, be prepared to receive a ton of SH!T! IP: Logged |

12H overlays are deep sh!t. There are not to be messed with. Something is not right with one of the partners, as you can see, opinions are divided... but this is the house of the self-undoing... except with the 12H you never know who's gonna get undone, the planet or the house. This is one of the most (if not THE most) complex and ambiguous house of the chart. Planets there should be taken with great care. This is not just from my recent experience, but from other observations as well. Same goes for planets in the composite 12H. It takes a lot of maturity for the people involved to make it work, and unfortunately, very few of us actually possess that. IP: Logged |
