I've read from alot of places that said sun conjunct saturn is a really heavy placement in a person's natal.I've also read that Sun in the 12th house represents problems with the father figure and suffering. But...what about a person who has their own Sun Conjunct Saturn (close orb) in the 12th house in natal?? What does that signify? Actually, both my boyfriend and I have Sun in 12th house in our natal. I, for one, had a missing father figure my whole life. Literally, missing. He left my mother for some Brazilian hot model after my mother was pregnant and before I was born. However My mother was there but was never supportive of me in anyway. I was taken to my home country when I was a baby til I was 5 years old where my aunts/granparents/cousins looked after me. At the time, everybody would bully me, although they were joking they would always tell me that my parents abandoned me and that I was an orphan and they decided to take care of me. Sadly after 5 years, just when I was about to get a glimpse of family warmth, I was taken away from them to live in America. My grandparents came with me and looked after me too, and I lived in a house with an estranged biological mother whom I didn't know. I had my grandparents who took care of me for about 10 years and they, too, left. My boyfriend has issues with his father also. Although his father WAS there in his life, he wasn't really "there" for him emotionally, supportively, etc. Infact, he said his father was overly strict to him at home. He was also impacted deeply when his father died a few years back. Luckily, he does have a close relationship with his mother and his sister, but they live in a different country and would come to visit him once in a long while. Does sun in the 12th house signify those who have experienced a life of unwanted-ness and the feeling of being unloved? I have my venus, mercury, pluto and ascendant in my boyfriend's 12th house. He has my sun in his 11th house. His Sun, Saturn and Pluto in my 1st house. How would this impact our relationship?

You have more of a friend-like feeling towards your boyfriend while he has deeper feelings for you. quote: house in our natal. I, for one, had a missing father figure my whole life. This sucks! Oh my goodness, what is the matter with some people, telling things like this to a child, joke or no! Sorry to hear this.Wish I could post more detailed answer but I'm typing on my smartphone....just wanna add that my ex has 12th house sun and his father abandoned their family when my ex was a baby. He left them for another woman. My younger sister has a 12th House Sun and our Pisces father was very financially supportive, but was hardly at home due to frequent business trips and possibly an affair. ALSO! He was away the whole time my mom was pregnant with her. She was conceived when he was on vacation, then he got sent on some overseas assignment. According to lectures of Liz Green and Howard Sasportas, the 12th House in psychological astrology reflects the period in the womb (Neptunian, oceanic, unconscious, no sense of individual identity). My mother had a very emotionally difficult and lonely pregnancy while he was away, and my sister's 12th House Chiron reflects that. So yeah, absentee father sounds right. I have Saturn in the 12th and my father was constantly cutting down my dreams and putting down my "childish" interests (art) so that he could attempt to mold me after his image in order to compensate for not having a son. Now he is on my case about getting married so he can have grandkids. HA. Not gonna happen. I know a guy who has Sun conjunct Saturn. Despite being a Sagittarius, which is jovial in pure form, people say he is very negative. I don't know his birth time. IP: Logged |

I would love to hear your detailed explanation on this, of course, once you are at a more comfortable typing-setting. That sounds like Sun Conjunct Saturn in the 12th house natal would be a total negative nancy? lol IP: Logged |

I edited my prior post to add a few things in the paragraph about my sister's 12th. I'm very proud of my L33T smartphone typing/pecking skillz.Sun conjunct Saturn must be tough indeed, but would probably be very compassionate in a serious way once mastered. I have 4th House Sun trining 12th house Saturn and I'm extremely negative and critical, because I know people can be better, dammit lol. Both my sister and ex with their 12th House Suns are prone to major depression but because they knew such pain, they're empathetic and care as much for others as they do for themselves.

What about if the placement (Sun Conjunct Saturn in 12th house) is in Scorpio? It sounds really nasty...like depression, suicide, backstabbing, secret enemies, etc..My boyfriend is the one who has that placement. He has told me not so much (as he has problems expressing himself freely like I do), but enough to get a small "glimpse" of his problems. He gets bad dreams often, sometimes kicks in bed, talks in his dreams (sometimes yelling a bit) and sweats while sleeping. But he is also moon aries, merc/venus sag, mars/jup cap, nep/uranus sag..so I guess the fire-dominance can "lighten"/ease up the saturn aspects a bit??? As for me, I have Sun/moon/mars in Libra, Ascendent/Merc/Venus Scorpio. No planets in my 7th, just Taurus lol. I have felt that those with Sun Conjunct Saturn were more of the loner type, and putting that in the 12th house is like super trapped-dungeon-beast loner type. Yay or nay?
