Comparing when my partner came into my life, first electronically (because we met online) and then in person. When we met online, Uranus and Jupiter were (wide) conjunct my Vertex and the Moon, Venus and Mars were conjunct my Anti-vertex. When we met in person, Mars was conjunct his anti-vertex. Wondering about others experiences with vertexes and meeting relationships. IP: Logged |

Oh wow, I went through the ephemeris and things really did happen during these transits. o_OEDIT: Swiss ephemeris isn't helpful with Moon transits so I plugged the date into astro.com and this is what jumped out... Moon transiting my Vertex: Fleeting transit, but officially began my first relationship ever that day. In synastry, his Juno conjuncts my Vertex. I was also having a bunch of other transits at the time: tChiron conjunct NN, tUranus conjunct nMoon, tJupiter conjunct nChiron. I really wish I could remember exactly when I first met him. =/ /END EDIT transiting Venus conjunct anti-Vertex: ended 10-year relationship transiting Moon conjunct Vertex (but I was also having tUranus trine nVenus and tMars conj nVenus AND tNeptune square nVenus): consummated new relationship. I can't recall the exact day I met him. transiting Black Moon Lilith conjunct Vertex: He did something behind my back (EDIT: he was having tNeptune square nMoon and tMercury square nSaturn that day/END EDIT) transiting Mars conjunct HIS natal Vertex/NN/Mars conjunction in his 7th House: He got dumped IP: Logged |

Interesting... A few days ago I had asked a similar question since Mars will be conjunct my Vertex when he comes and sit on Virgo for the next 8 months...The conjunction will be in my 7th house. Some people said that nothing would come off it, others that I might be more busy than usually but nobody commented on the possibility that a new relationship might enter my life. Thoughts? Well, Vertex doesn't always mean love relationship... more about turning points in life... I was just marking past relationships with it.I never thought about looking at end of relationships and consummation of relationships... so thanks for sparking that... I'll have a look... IP: Logged |

Always? No. But it is definitely a possibility judging by what it is shared in this thread. IP: Logged |

I recall reading that the Vertex doesn't coincide with events unless there's a natal planet on it, or maybe an asteroid. My thought on that is...events happening are stored energies being released. Some people here* have noticed that marked happenings (major, minor) are triggered when there's a second transit that releases the energy being stored from an already-occurring transit. For example, let's say you're having tPluto conjunct nVenus, so you're obsessing over someone. A new tone is being set, the new energy is lurking around your love life. One day, transiting Mars squares your natal Venus. The obsessive energy that was being stored throughout the Pluto transit in Venus escapes with the harsh transit from Mars, resulting in a fight breaking out with your lover. The fight would be based on the already-existing Pluto issues, but Mars provided that extra push to release that energy. I got NN conjunct Anti-Vertex (orb of 2 degrees) and Dejanira exactly conjunct Vertex. *I'll post the links to the threads later EDIT: Ok it's later http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum24/HTML/210571.html http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum24/HTML/210716.html

These natal conjunctions make it difficult to tell whether it's the Vertex or conjuncting point/body that's the anchor for the event. Thanks for the links! IP: Logged |

Interesting...I found that there were less than 1* conjunct to my Anti-Vertex on days that I met a few old flames. Venus and Saturn. IP: Logged |

I think my vertex is like 23 something Pisces, my progressed moon is currently 13 degrees Pisces. My progressed moon will hit my vertex sometime next year. It would be interesting to know what happens but I will also have Saturn squaring my Ascendant( hopefully weight loss) and oppose my venus. I know the theme should be about letting go of relationships that no longer serve myself for personal growth. IP: Logged |

Not first meeting per say, but I have an anti-vertex synastry with my crush that I find freeky. His sun is conjunct my Anti-vertex in Leo. And my Sun is Conjunct his Anti-vertex in Scorpio. Double whammy! We had a group project (Uni students) this winter when I met him for the first time. And usually after projects is done the students part and, well don't become friends really (this is sweden, people are cold here ) First time we met the vertex was Conjunct my Natal Mercury (asc ruler) and it was close to his Natal Venus. Also his Natal Vertex sits on my Progressed Anti-vertex.
And my natal Mars-moon is close to his Progressed Anti-vertex. IP: Logged |
