Can two people still be sexually attracted without any venus/mars contacts? Has anyone had great sexual chemistry without these aspects and what aspects did you have instead?IP: Logged |

I'd say Pluto contacts to a personal planet, particularly if they fall in the 8th house, could create a magnetism that may produce sexual attraction/relations.The electric and spontaneous aspects of Uranus may also produce a drawing together. We have to remember that sex is not a purely physical act in every relationship - sometimes it transcends the earthly and physical, which is not Mars' or Venus' forte, therefore, this 'going beyond' must be down to interactions of other planets. Thanks, voix...would you say Sun/pluto conjunction is sexual? and eros/pluto? would aspects in composite count? or does one look for these things in just the synastry? IP: Logged |

Well, I would say anything that touches Venus OR Mars is fine enough. It doesn't HAVE to be one's Venus and the other's Mars. For instance Moon/Mars, Venus/Uranus, Mars/Neptune, Venus/Pluto, Mars/Pluto are all sexual attraction aspects. IP: Logged |

Eros/PLuto - most certainly.Sun/Pluto - not neccessarily, BUT the passion and intensity with Sun/Pluto can get so deep and strong that it definitely spills over and might find an expression in sexual terms. IP: Logged |

I'm very new to astrology in this depth Polysigh, so I only have my instincts on this. I would say that Sun/Pluto would equal a transformative effect on the basic core personality of the Sun person. If a square though, it could indicate power struggles with the Pluto person trying to dominate. I would say that either of these interactions could filter into the sexlife, but I wouldn't term them a 'sexual aspect'. Eros/Pluto I would say is definitely sexual, bordering on the obssessive perhaps, although there is a spiritual quality to the Eros story that may soften it into strong sexual desire and deep protectiveness. EDIT: I just saw Ceridwen's reply there after I posted, sorry for repetition. IP: Logged |

Thanks, amowls...that's interesting...even say...venus/moon? I have had venus/mars DW, best so far! and I have had Moon/mars DW, that was great too but it did burn out quickly. So, if I don't see those aspects in synastry I get a little nervous-lol IP: Logged |

Venus/Moon isn't necessarily sexual... but it does lend to a lot of compatibility and overall "nice" feelings when together. IP: Logged |

Mars conj another's asc.Especially in a sexy sign. My boyfriend's Mars in Scorp is conj my Scorp asc within 2 deg...traditionally, I have read, Mars on the asc of another creates sexual chemistry and attraction, but this Scorpio thing is crazy... Yea, he doesnt act like a Virgo then! IP: Logged |

No no, see the thing is, Pluto is just the higher vibration of Mars anyway, so it makes sense that even without Venus/Mars aspects, there will still be some degree of attraction there if there's Pluto aspects to inner planets. IP: Logged |

Isn't that what I said? Can't say I see where the 'no no' fits here :/ IP: Logged |

Would Pluto cause attraction if it lands on the ASC/DSC angles?IP: Logged |

I am interested in this too. My natal venus/pluto conjunction conjuncts his ASC by 2 degrees. I would think heavy attraction and power and control issues?!? who would feel what? IP: Logged |

Pluto on the angles. DEFINITELY.First of all, yes Pluto is the higher octave of Mars, and secondly ASC is a Mars-angle and DESC is a Venus-angle. IP: Logged |

Have you looked at the progressed charts as well? If Person A's progressed Venus or Mars aspects Person B's natal Venus or Mars position then the Venus-Mars attraction will last until the progression passes on, though progressed Mars seems to move pretty slow. Venus-Mars attraction is supposedly fleeting anyway. Hopefully there will be Saturn contacts too. quote: Has anyone had great sexual chemistry without these aspects and what aspects did you have instead?

There was a girl, which i had "kiss at first sight(we couldnt resist each other even at first sight)".. there was an enourmous attraction and in synastry there was no venus/mars aspects for any chart to another. But her mars/pluto/sun was in my 8th, venus in my 7th, moon and jupiter in my 5th.. Also we have mars/ascendant in synastry. We were so unable to resist each other, we made some disturbance in public and i cant wait till a closed place to jump on her. For once, police and people ***** about our public nuisance/sexual interactions.. I was so drawned to her.. omg.... It was impossible to resist. I wanted to become as one with her.... anyway so venus/mars aspects does not have to be had in synastry....IP: Logged |

wow...that's pretty intense. i have had the mars/ASC and you are right about that!! I wonder if a close venus/ASC conjunction would work the same way. maybe it would be similar to a sun/venus conjunction (?) which I know could create some chemistry as well... IP: Logged |
