Most attractive people I have met have sun conjunct venus, venus in the first, and/or sun square moon.

Anyone encountered the same with this aspect?
Ps. This doesn't apply to sun opposition moon lol

Squares tend to create this precarious, erratic energy within individuals that I always find attractive, like a fire cracker. Trines are boring.

Weird, I have Sun square Moon and have always found it difficult to picture people being attracted to that.

It's particularly frustrating, because synastry to your my Sun, often results in hard aspects to my Moon and the same is true for my Moon. What is it that you find attractive?

Mine is:
Sun Sag 11 degrees (conjunct Neptune Sag 15 and trine Mars Leo 11)

Square

Moon Virgo 11 degrees (trine MC Cap 13 and sextile Uranus Sco 13)

It's that special "zing", you know? I'll bring up a favorite quote by Robert Downey, Jr.

"It's like I have a loaded gun in my mouth and my finger's on the trigger, and I like the taste of the gunmetal."

If the Sun=father and Moon=mother, do you suppose having divorced parents or a constant state of discord between parents has something to do with it?

Yeah, I remember now

You know, I have met 2 annoyingly unattractive guys with this sun/moon sq (just didn't do anything for me) but also some sexy ones (3 I can remember).

BUT! This is an aside - I also know some sexy Venus/Mars square types that are all sexy and I wonder if yeah, it's the friction. Something kind of raw and rawrr about the aspect

I think squares in personal planets can be sexxxy.

It can't be about the parents alone, I know people with the disharmonious moon and sun with parents who are still together but I do think it's a very good point. Generally I think sun/moon square types can have some identity crisis and not know which part to relate to, so it makes sense if the parents would be front and center in that issue.

My fiance has Mars square Sun and he's a pain in my ass But if he didn't have something going on then I would not be with him :P

My ex had Mars sq Moon and he was amazingly sexy, like ridiculous, women threw panties and panting glances on him everywhere we went. It was kind of annoying actually. He had a lot of squares in his chart. I think it made him somehow really sexy.

I have this aspect and my parents aren't divorced. Yeah they bicker sometimes, but it's not ugly or malicious. It never was.

As for my square; well I get what it means, but I really don't like it. I would trade it with a trine in a heartbeat.

RDJ is hot, in my opinion, but I don't know about Pitt. I used to find him pretty in a twinky sort of way. [/B][/QUOTE]
That's why I included "constant state of discord." Technically that's what this aspect should indicate, don't you think? Sometimes this results in divorce and other times they stay together but not happily.

EDIT: Just out of curiosity, did your parents reverse traditional roles? I read in "The Art of Predictive Astrology" about a case where the Sun-sq-Moon kid's parents were very happy together but had reversed gender roles.

What I have read about the sun and moonbeing in disharmony in the natal is that somebody very important to the native in his/her family is extremely critical of their identity and would like them to change to be another way. So, eventually, this causes the native to doubt everything they do (what they feel they should do in their heart isnt in accordance w/ what they think they should do in their head).

This has been true in all cases I've seen of this aspect, including my mother. Her mother and brother have always criticized her way of being. They are diametrically opposed to all the values she truly holds in her heart. But my mom might have been a little unsure about her identity because of this growing up, but definitely not anymore. She is extremely confident in what's right and what's wrong, and what she should and shouldnt do. So i guess the aspect is resolved and doesnt last forever like most negative aspects in a natal chart. My dad certainly helps bc he has all thesame values as my mom and constantly criticizes my grandmother and my uncle.

They can seem to need some love, and you want to nurture them.

I once saw a sign that said "sin is death" but if "all deaths are suicide (linda goodman)" and suicide is sin, then shouldnt "death is sin" be more appropriate?

when organic is used to describe food then you know we have come to a dark age in history

Very true for hubby in relation to relationship with mother. I have similar values to hubby so he gets that reassurance from me that he didnt get from mother.

I like to think that all difficult aspects in chart can be overcome if the motivation and self awareness is high enough.

Also to answer your original question. In my experience yes venus conjunct mars (I have met quite a number of these) are hot and so is venus in the first (ex), and so is sun square moon (hubby) who is also a libra.
