Having Mars as a chart ruler is just as strong as having Uranus, Neptune or Pluto. Expression of the personality however would be different based on planetary rulers and on aspects and various other placements.
Ooops! Got them mixed up. Yeah, Pluto is the slowest moving planet, so Scorpio risers are the strongest, especially these young Scorpio risers who have Pluto at home in Scorpio. Scorpio rising with Pluto in Scorpio means the person is exactly what they are like in public and private. Their 'mask' (Ascendant/rising sign) is the same as what they are like deep down (Ascendant ruler in SIGN) I just don't buy detriments and exaltations. Planet strength should go by the cycle of the planet. IP: Logged |

Fire is still there. If you want others to have a really good impression. Post a video. I am thinking of starting a thread on just that, but need to wait a little long before I do it so I can set it up in my mind right first. ------------------ It's All Elemental ----- My Chart if relevant IP: Logged |

You look Piscey. If you say Aries doesn't fit,it doesn't fit. It is probablly really late Pisces... There should be really strict law about writing down every second of the time birth IP: Logged |

sand I already know your Asc so I cannot play but your eyes have helped me figure out my brothers Asc placement. Your jawline seems to be like him too. He has very longated eyes with long eyelashes that sort of have that cute curl at the end which are a mixture of "i'm intense but also dreamy". I am jealous as a girl of his eyelahses and now yours too ahaha. I was deciding between two Asc placements for a while but looking at you and some other people with your rising recently has helped me me put two and two togethr. Your rising sign almost always has a strong jawline/squared face and a certain "je na se qua" in their eyes. saya_sar I suck at this but I feel some Merc for some reason.

I must protest again about the somewhat of a generalization that I must necessarily be Pisces because I have a round face. Face shapes do not carry across cultures. Its like saying there are no Aries men among the overweight. The majority of Asians have round faces, as we do have narrower eyes, etc etc. You cannot tell me that a grouping of Aries Asian men would have a predominance of angular faces with defined jaws. Not possible. Its almost like me trying to find many Asians with huge round eyes, or Asians with select anatomies (ok I'll shut up before I become too offensive). Good luck. I maintain that I am *nothing* like a Pisces. I behave nothing like a Pisces, much less present myself as a Pisces to others. The way I'm writing now, does it really sound like I'm dreamy and indecisive? I know that Pisces is said to be a weak sign that gets overriden by stronger signs, such as the predominance of "earth" in my charts. Even so. I struggle to find my correct ASC, but I know that Pisces isn't me, regardless of how I look. I find myself stuck with Aries as the only alternative, but even then I am doubtful about that. Thank you. Although I understand it was more of a statement of fact. Unfortunately, I look pretty much like every other Asian doctor, or any Asian in any other profession. lol I have a generic appearance IP: Logged |

Oh neat. I just found interpretations for my Asc aspects.Venus(Pisces h10) Square Asc (Gemini) With Venus in square aspect to your Ascendant you may continually underestimate your worth or value as a person. You may have fallen victim to the idea that your appearance is the only key to your beauty and, whether or not you think you are physically attractive, may never be quite satisfied with the way you look. On a deeper level, you may be dealing with a sense of inadequacy which may stem from a feeling that you are not lovable. Being lovable begins with the way you feel about yourself, and by becoming more accepting and loving toward yourself, you nurture the true essence of love - which resides at the core of your inner self. You may also struggle with the experience of putting yourself at risk or putting forth effort in order to achieve the realization of your desires." http://cafeastrology.com/natal/venusascendantaspects.html Uranus (Cappy stationary rx h8) Quincunx Ascendant "You are inventive and clever in capitalizing on your creative abilities. You are always on the lookout for novel ways to use your talents and generally find them. You want to be admired for finding new and better ways to gain your objectives. Being progressive and eager to develop, you are not satisfied with traditional methods unless they can be improved upon. People who prefer tried and true ways of doing things may not accept your ideas easily, so you may have to develop them privately until you are sure they will work. You are especially concerned with labor saving techniques that will give you greater freedom to indulge in personal interests. Although your outlandish suggestions may be criticized, you will not fail to arouse the interest of people who can visualize their financial advantages." Neptune (Cappy Stationary rx h8)Quincunx Ascendant "You try hard and truly want to win the approval and cooperation of the people you deal with, but it often does not work out that way. You tend to contaminate your good intentions with self-seeking suggestions that make people suspicious of you. When you assert yourself, you act so uncertain that people question your competence. You have trouble finding ways to capitalize on your creativity and tend to dawdle in accomplishing your tasks. The result is a number of jobs that get started but never finished. Your failures result from insufficient planning and lack of mental organization." http://www.astrozoom.com/astrologer/astrology/ascendant-quincunx-neptune/ Do you see it? My sis doing my makeup As you can see from the date this pic was taken a WHILE ago. Taking a shot after walking for breast cancer And for sh!ts and giggles, and awesome asteroid geek people...howa bout these? Belisina, Lucifer, Typhon in the same degree on my ASC IP: Logged |

Hi,Stawr! You remind me of my Sag/Gemini friend,I like your energy, smiling in all pics... I also Venus sq Asc,and above interpretation doesn't fit at all,so I advise you to scoop around bit more. It is very easy to put Venus' squares down to 'sense of inadequacy and low self value'. And squares to Asc are pretty much the same-one doesn't like how they look. *Sigh...* IP: Logged |

hehe! my eye shape is pretty leoish when i look closely but yeah the eyebrows and lashes are scorpy rising. my scorp rising gramps had them too which he passed on to most even tho i am the only other scorp rising in the fam. i am for sure a diamond in face shape. cept it's huge so people confuse it with square. my dad also looks almost exactly like me cept he is taller (5 planets in sag) and has lighter hair/eyes. so i think genetics play a big role in appearance for sure but risings can show/ explain the slight differences. my mom is mixed asian tho not east asian. pisces sun/moon, cancer rising. she has big eyes/ round face. nonetheless very fishy look from what other pisces risers have posted here before. scorp rising is also another rising commonly attributed to us coz of the pale skin and dark hair that shoots up. i think george clooney/ warren buffet has fishy rising with some earth being taurus and virgo suns. i think.. I agree, I'm pretty sure it's normal for all women to not be happy with the way they look sometimes. No matter who they are. I'm happy with the way I look...happy, but not %100. I'd say %80 satisfied and %20 dissatisfied. So pretty much I'm happy, and don't loath myself. Also I'm pretty sure everyone has struggled with self esteem at some point. (whether it's severe or slight) I do have a vain side...but being vain/looking put together is too much work for everyday. Sometimes I wish I had more time. My pet peeve is...why do people always(okay just most of the time) have a camera on days that are not good me!?(it's such a murphy law for me) Like the days I want to/need to look put together and I'm not! Whether I didn't have time to brush my teeth, style my hair for going to the bar/club. and then all my friends have theirs styled and want to take a group pic, and then post them on fb. And then it's like ugh...now I look like the dumpy frumpy one in the group. haha I get so peeved when my friends invite me somewhere like a club and only give me like a half hour notice or something, and I'm dressed like a scrub hair to toe...and I'm like f*ck...I need to attempt to transform myself to glam in a short amount of time. That is flipping impossible to do sometimes. And then my friend is like group pic time! I'm smiling...but on the inside I'm thinking 'Ugh, damn you. Out of all the times we've been to the club with me pretty much looking my best...you pick the day I look my worst to group pic? f*ck you' I know they don't do it on purpose, but I still am secretly mad at them. lol I sorta snapped at my 7 yr old second cousin today...I wasn't feeling good for a while...so that interfered with my primping time...so I was like guess I'll be doing my make up THERE...cause my parents want to leave now. So my other cousin closer to my age decided to hang out with me in there...and then the 7 yr comes in with her new digital camera trying to take a pic of me. And then my dad gets an iphone and decides to take a pic of me not looking at the camera just rolled out of bed and not awake. And then that's the pic that shows up when I call him. The little things like that in life make me want to flip a table. lol IP: Logged |
