I'm writing a book on The Faces of Astrology (and other physical factors), but until then you're best off getting John Willner's The Rising Sign Problem - the best book related to physical charactersitics, personality and the Asc.In order to determine or 'guess' someone's Asc, you really need to know the other chart factors - see the chart itself. There are horoscopic circumstances in which there can be combinations even in Asc/1st house types. For example, a person can have Pisces on the Asc, but still possess some Aries qualities if that sign is intercepted in the 1st house, especially if there are planets there. I'll post a thread on the topic "Ascendant Sign Descriptions." Then I've gotta stop answering questions online and get back to writing that book.  ------------------

That reminds me of my sister...she has a Pisces ascendant with Aries intercepted and a moon there and she turns into the fire maiden from a luciferian realm sometimes.IP: Logged |

I go on the idea that the looks determined by ASC is the sign on the OUTSIDE of the wheel. I guess any other characteristics of your looks will be down to genetics. Many children look like their parents, I'm guessing, without having the same asc.So let's not completely discount science yet, as that would be foolish. IP: Logged |
