From personal experience, either feeling obsessed with another person or noticing they seem obsessed with you... What aspects in synastry did you see that you believed was the cause of this obsession? Or something in your chart or their chart that made either person, respectively, an obsessive person with regards to other people or relationships?IP: Logged |

Pluto....most definitely. I am sun and venus conjunct pluto natally. I am actually obsessed with learning about pluto right now...tee hee... I have read that those with natal venus/pluto aspects can attract people who can manifest obsessive behavior toward them because apparently these people (venus/pluto) radiate intensity and can seem to look right into someone's inner being. Some people can find this very attractive esp. those who want to feel validated and understood deep within. I have noticed that Scorpio moons can feel obsessive toward a love interest although they may try to hide this. Also, I have noticed that hard aspects in synastry between personal planets and pluto can cause this (not as much with the trine and sextile I think). IP: Logged |

Obsession is pluto through and through. In synastry I would say venus-pluto and mars-pluto. In a persons individual natal that makes them a person prone to obsession with others I would say sun-pluto, asc-pluto, venus-pluto, mars-pluto. IP: Logged |

That's interesting, I've never heard of that before! I thought that people with natal Venus/Pluto aspects attracted obsessive people because they rejected Pluto as part of their personality, and welcomed Plutonian people into their lives instead. IP: Logged |

Well yes, especially with the opposition, because both energies are hard to integrate, people tend to project the one or the other, usually the outer planet is projected onto others while the personal planet is integrated, that's why people with Pluto oppositions tend to attract Plutonian people and hence obsessive relationships.IP: Logged |

I've heard of that too, but only with the opposition. And that can be true with a lot of oppositions, not just one between venus and pluto. IP: Logged |

Meh, if it isn't that way, it's the other way around - I have Pluto in the 1st in opposition with Sun/Ven/Mars in the 7th. I am usually Pluto and have had a fair share of stalkers and obsessed people. It seems like they either fear me or "love" me. Since it's a generational aspect, does anyone know if the person who is Pluto in synastry can become obsessed? IP: Logged |

So agree with the "fear me or love me" thing...this is how it is with me but a lot of times the love is from afar hence obsession...so maybe fear mixed with love=obsession? And yes, I have seen pluto in synastry become obsessed. However, I have read in several venus/pluto, "who is more obsessed" threads that the planet person is more obsessed. But also have heard that since pluto rules obsessions so naturally the pluto person in the aspect would be exhibiting obsessive behaviors. Tighter the orb, the more obsessed pluto feels.

I have pluto exactly opposite my venus in my natal. I also have pluto dominant and to top it off pluto is in scorp in the 1st and venus is in taur in the 7th. I notice a obbsesive quality about the people I sometimes attarct, not always though but often. I would love to hear more about this if you dont mind and if you have any expereince. especially what i could mean with my venus envolved. Thanks IP: Logged |

Of course someone Plutonian will probably act out the Pluto and maybe attract Venusian people (or any other planet that is involved in the opposition). So it is possible that the person with the opposition will actually be the obsessed one.But I think it goes both ways. Because more often than not Plutonian people are attracted to other Plutonians, there is just a deep connection that feels very special. The person who is more "obsessed" is the one who is more Plutonian, someone with heavy Pluto aspects natally. But both will be obsessed, it's just that one person may be more "comfortable" with that energy and the other may freak out, as the others have stated. IP: Logged |

I think the obsession is mutual, but in different ways. Venus is obsessed in a lovey dovey kind of way, maybe pluto turns it into a love-hate thing because pluto is merely obssesed?IP: Logged |

Yesss. I would deff like to put emphasis on the fear me or love me bit. Thats how people often react at first impression with me. They either seem overly interested and nosy in what im about or i can tell that they feel scared to open themsleves up. It doesnt bother me much because i stay in control of my situation regardless but then sometimes when i see a shy or emotionally reserved person looking at me like" i wish i had the right thing to say to you but i feel scared in some way" thats when i always step in and make my move so they can communicate what they have to. I don't have a Venus-Pluto aspect and I was the one obsessed with someone who had a Venus-Pluto opposition. However I have a Scorpio stellium and Mars conjunct Pluto, so that may be why.I was the one who played out the obsessive part. IP: Logged |

It's Pluto. Pluto, Pluto, Pluto.I've been on both ends - the one obsessed and the one obsessed with. That dynamic actually doesn't freak me out that much though - then again I have moon-pluto and venus quintile pluto natally, along with some other pluto activity. So I'm usually not the one that is freaked out by it, even if I'm the object of obsession; it's usually them that gets weird about it. I don't fear people with strong Pluto or placements in Scorp either and usually I (inadvertently) 'out-Pluto' them lol. IP: Logged |

I have Venus/Merc conjunct Pluto in scorpio in 1st House natally. The guy I'm seeing right now is a scorpio sun with moon opposite pluto, neptune sextile pluto natal aspects. We have Sun conjunct pluto its a DW but rather loose. Both of our plutos fall into each other's 12th houses and we have composite sun conjunct pluto in 12th house. His pluto is also tightly conjunct my ascendant in scorpio. Obsessed? Yes, I am. I think about him all the time. Literally. I even have DREAMS about him consecutively a few days in a row. As for him, he's a Scorpio so he won't show it, but he admits that he's always thinking about me, whatever that means in scorpion language. IP: Logged |

Thanks Doux, Although i am pluto dominant i find myself to be the exact opposite of obsessive with others. I can be obsessive with my own ways though as in planning things out so i'm never caught of gaurd or just ebing sure of all my ways in genereal. I always like to know where i stand. In relationships i am very diff though, i like everything to be dealt with open communicativeness and honesty. heavy pluto people are often attracted to me but i prefer more open , lighthearted kind of relationships. Thanks for sharing IP: Logged |

You're welcome.Interesting how you "prefer more open , lighthearted kind of relationships", considering you are Plutonian yourself. What are the elements responsible for this, in your opinion? Do you have a lot of air? IP: Logged |

Venus square Pluto here, and I'd say, most of the time I'm the one totally obsessed. Only one time can I say it was the guy who was obsessed.I do get very attracted to Pluto men. It's a total turn-on for me. Also started to notice lately that I do either attract people, or there's something about me that puts people off. Never really thought I was that intese, but after thinking back, maybe I do project more than I realize. IP: Logged |

Obsessiveness-compulsive here! Ugh sometimes I can't stand it. I'll get consumed in something and then poof!!!-- 'over it'. Here are a few examples: there was a point in time where everyday for months I would listen to the same album and then repeatedly listen to a specific song in the album. I always do this when I find music I like- repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat to the point people are like "wtf?". I went through a phase where all I ate were mustard flavor pretzels, even though I hate mustard because mustard reminds me of mayonnaise and I HATE mayonnaise. After that phase, I only ate homemade soup (always the same type) with hot sauce for lunch and dinner, with the occasional grilled cheese with ketchup. I can go on and on. Anyway relationship wise, I have had a few obsessed guys- seriously a guy tried to break in, this past summer. Occasionally but not too often, I do get obsessed with people but I'll never show it... I thinks it's more of curiosity and wanting to know as much as possible of the other. Once my curiosity (compulsion) is satisfied, I am completely over it and lack interest. Like others have mentioned, people love me or fear me... I'm intense. Scorpio Pluto in 1st Mercury trine Pluto Venus trine Pluto Mars square Pluto Neptune sextile Pluto

I am a Libra Rising & Gemini Sun. Other than this I have a lot of water. But I have a yod that points to my sun and alot of astroids conjunct my sun or nearby. Also i have a strong feeling My Moon,Merc, Mars and MC in the 9th have to do with this. IP: Logged |
