Hi JayR,"It appears that you are not quite getting how midpoints work in declination." Yes, you`re right. I wasn`t getting it. But in the meantime it struck me that of course the declinations are not a circle and so there are no far and near midpoint. So thanks for the clarification. " Also, Neptune does not have a monopoly on the longevity symbolism, in Magi Astrology one of the Chiron symbolisms is “enduring.”" Thanks for the information. I didn`t know this. "You seem to be on track with your logic here."
"In Magi Astrology 6 consecutive sextiles (two interlocking Grand Trines) is referred to as a Star of David. " I always thought that these two; Grand sextiles and Star of David were the same. But it seems t hat at least in Magi astrology, they are different. BTW I have looked at a CAC of a friend. She`s been in a very beautiful and loving relationship with someone for 7 years, and still as happy and in love as ever. It struck me though that in their CAC there is no classic Cinderella linkage; they do have the Trustlinkage of her Chiron quinkunx his Sun, which seems to have been elevated to a Cinderella linkage. Also their Romance Super linkages do not seem all that romantic in nature. I included Vesta; as I read on Magi Helena`s site, that she tentatively does so as well, but I am aware that as of now Vesta is not a permisseable element of Romance Super linkages, officially. So maybe these are not even Romance Super linkages, but simply nice super linkages. From the top of my head I recall 1) her Chiron quinkunx his Sun/Uranus/Pallas and sextile his Mars (her Chiron is also quinkunx his Uranus/Pallas in helio) 2) his Vesta conjunct her Moon and Pallas and quinkunx her Chiron 3) her Vesta contraparallel his Jupiter and Chiron
They have emotional and sexual captivations, though they seem mutual as each one contributes the same amount of Saturn. They also have some nuclear clashes, again, there is Saturn-balance. But I figure even with that it doesn`t look good. They do get along with each other greatly though. There are some differences, and they come from slightly different cultural backgrounds, but they talk a lot and come very easily to an agreement, eve with all these Nuclear Clashes. They do have a whole lot of nice Vesta-linkages though, including three Vesta-Chiron-linkages, as well as Vesta-Venus, Vesta-Jupiter, Vesta - Moon. And they have two Chiron-Pallas-linkages. This would explain to me why they are also best friends, but I wonder where comes the romance from? That feeling of having met the one? And being blissfully and romantically and passionately in love with each other? As their Super Romance linkage do not look that romantic, do they? What they have though is multiple sexual linkages, including a sexual cluster in the helios, including Mars, Mars, Juno plus both Neptune`s. Though I do not know how strong this would be, since there are the same planets (Mars twice) here.
But they also have a sexual cluster in geo without Juno, consisting of Venus, Mars and Pluto. Actually they have two Venus-Pluto-linkages. This explains the sexual attraction I guess, but not the romantic one. Now, even though they do not have classic Cinderella linkages and an awful lot of romance linkages, they DO have the Venus-Neptune-linkages, and it is part of two interlocking planetary geometry.
1. Grand Trine: His Venus trine her Jupiter and Neptune 2. Mystical Triangle: his Venus quinkunx her Sun and trines her Neptune (As a matter of fact that Mystical Triangle is a double MT, but the second one is not that nice, as her Sun is conjunct Saturn, so actually her Sun-Saturn quinkunx his Venus, which of course includes a Saturn-clash to his Venus)
Anyway, can all of this together, especially the planetary geometry of Venus-Jupiter-Neptune and Venus-Sun-Neptune explain the amount of romantic attraction they feel for each other?

Hi Ceridwen,As I have shared with you previously, I’m very visual and I need to see it. I only have an interest in discussing charts that I can see in all their glory using my own software. If you would like to post the chart data, I will take a look, as well as others following this thread can take a look as well. If you are not comfortable doing that, then as this is an educational conversation let’s stick to charts of famous people where reliable dates of birth are easily accessed. Also, due to a heavy business and travel schedule, my subsequent replies may be less than punctual. JayR

Hi JayR," If you would like to post the chart data, I will take a look, as well as others following this thread can take a look as well." Of course I will. I just didn`t want to cause you that much work, but I understand that one needs to look at the visual image, plus it will be good if anyone is interested in it, so they can take a look, too. her data: 5th february 1963 11:40 a.m Lycksele / Sweden his data 3rd august 1958 4:10 p.m. Paris "so, due to a heavy business and travel schedule, my subsequent replies may be less than punctual." of course. I am only online so often, because due to the public transportation I have to take, I am always one hour early for work and after work have to wait about an hour to be able to go home, so I have some time to kill. Anyway, I think I am just going to keep on reading and trying to apply the interpretations to charts and, well, exercise in the meantime. And you simply answer when you have the time.

I am also very confused with Magi Astrology and don't seem to get anywhere. I have a boyfriend who I really feel is my soul mate. Traditional Astrology says so, but the more I look into Magi, it has conflicting reports. I am trying to figure out the first meeting chart, and I had seem so many times prior, but the first time I think I actually spoke to him was 5/7/11- I saw him prior to that but never spoke to him really. If I did it was give or take 2 weeks prior. This is when I actually SPOKE to him, I had seen him prior but never actually talked to him, just seen him. I am hearing mixed reviews regarding what to use as a "first meeting chart" date. What do you think? The first time I noticed him or this date of the first time I talked to him? If anyone wants to help me understand, here is the birth information. I have had a report done and have everything written down, so here is that as well: SUN QUINCUNX MY MERCURY SUN CONJUNCT MY MOON SUN OPPOSITION MY NEPTUNE SUN TRINE MY PLUTO MERCURY QUINCUNX MY MARS MERCURY SEXTILE MY CHIRON VENUS TRINE MY JUPITER VENUS QUINCUNX MY SUN VENUS SEMI-SEXTILE MY MERCURY VENUS TRINE MY MARS VENUS QUINCUNX MY SATURN VENUS CONJUNCT MY EARTH/MOON COMPLEX VENUS SEXTILE MY CERES VENUS SQUARE MY VESTA VENUS QUINCUNX MY JUNO MOON SEMI-SEXTILE MY URANUS MOON CONJUNCT MY NEPTUNE MOON SEXTILE MY PLUTO MOON QUINCUNX MY CERES MOON TRINE MY PALLAS MOON OPPOSITION MY MOON MARS SEXTILE MY CHIRON MARS CONJUNCT MY VENUS MARS SEXTILE MY SATURN MARS SQUARE MY PALLAS JUPITER SEXTILE MY MOON JUPITER QUINCUNX MY URANUS JUPITER TRINE MY NEPTUNE JUPITER OPPOSITION MY PLUTO JUPITER SQUARE MY CERES JUPITER CONJUNCT MY PALLAS JUPITER TRINE MY VESTA JUPITER SEMI-SEXTILE MY CHIRON SATURN SEMI-SEXTILE MY MERCURY SATURN OPPOSITION MY MOON SATURN QUINCUNX MY CHIRON SATURN QUINCUNX MY CHIRON URANUS SEXTILE MY PLUTO URANUS QUINCUNX MY CERES URANUS TRINE MY PALLAS URANUS TRINE MY VESTA URANUS SQUARE MY VENUS URANUS SEMI-SEXTILE MY URANUS URANUS SQUARE MY JUPITER URANUS SEMI-SEXTILE MY URANUS URANUS CONJUNCT MY NEPTUNE URANUS SEXTILE MY PLUTO NEPTUNE SQUARE MY JUNO NEPTUNE SQUARE MY SATURN NEPTUNE CONJUNCT MY MARS NEPTUNE TRINE MY EARTH/MOON COMPLEX PLUTO SEMI-SEXTILE MY JUNO EARTH/MOON COMPLEX CONJUNCT MY NEPTUNE EARTH/MOON COMPLEX SEXTILE MY PLUTO CHIRON OPPOSITION MY NEPTUNE CHIRON TRINE MY PLUTO CHIRON SEMI-SEXTILE MY CERES CHIRON SEXTILE MY PALLAS CHIRON CONJUNCT MY MOON CHIRON QUINCUNX MY URANUS CHIRON SQUARE MY JUPITER CHIRON OPPOSITION MY NEPTUNE CHIRON TRINE MY PLUTO CERES SQUARE MY JUPITER CERES QUINCUNX MY VENUS CERES SQUARE MY JUPITER CERES SEMI-SEXTILE MY URANUS CERES TRINE MY PALLAS PALLAS OPPOSITION MY CHIRON PALLAS TRINE MY VENUS PALLAS CONJUNCT MY URANUS PALLAS QUINCUNX MY PALLAS VESTA TRINE MY JUNO VESTA OPPOSITION MY MARS JUNO TRINE MY SUN JUNO QUINCUNX MY SATURN JUNO SQUARE MY CHIRON SUN CONTRA-PARALLEL MY MARS SUN PARALLEL MY CERES SUN CONTRA-PARALLEL MY PALLAS MERCURY CONTRA-PARALLEL MY MARS MERCURY PARALLEL MY CERES MERCURY CONTRA-PARALLEL MY MARS MERCURY PARALLEL MY JUPITER MERCURY PARALLEL MY NEPTUNE VENUS CONTRA-PARALLEL MY MERCURY VENUS PARALLEL MY MOON VENUS CONTRA-PARALLEL MY URANUS VENUS CONTRA-PARALLEL MY VENUS VENUS CONTRA-PARALLEL MY SATURN VENUS CONTRA-PARALLEL MY CERES VENUS CONTRA-PARALLEL MY VESTA VENUS CONTRA-PARALLEL MY JUNO MARS CONTRA-PARALLEL MY MARS MARS PARALLEL MY CERES MARS CONTRA-PARALLEL MY CHIRON JUPITER PARALLEL MY PLUTO JUPITER PARALLEL MY MARS JUPITER CONTRA-PARALLEL MY JUPITER JUPITER CONTRA-PARALLEL MY NEPTUNE SATURN PARALLEL MY NEPTUNE SATURN PARALLEL MY PALLAS SATURN CONTRA-PARALLEL MY MARS SATURN PARALLEL MY JUPITER SATURN PARALLEL MY NEPTUNE URANUS CONTRA-PARALLEL MY CERES URANUS PARALLEL MY MARS URANUS CONTRA-PARALLEL MY URANUS URANUS CONTRA-PARALLEL MY EARTH/MOON COMPLEX NEPTUNE PARALLEL MY PALLAS NEPTUNE PARALLEL MY MARS NEPTUNE PARALLEL MY NEPTUNE NEPTUNE PARALLEL MY JUPITER PLUTO PARALLEL MY VENUS PLUTO PARALLEL MY JUPITER PLUTO CONTRA-PARALLEL MY JUNO EARTH/MOON COMPLEX PARALLEL MY URANUS CHIRON CONTRA-PARALLEL MY URANUS CHIRON PARALLEL MY MOON CERES PARALLEL MY MARS CERES CONTRA-PARALLEL MY JUPITER CERES CONTRA-PARALLEL MY NEPTUNE VESTA PARALLEL MY MOON VESTA CONTRA-PARALLEL MY URANUS VESTA CONTRA-PARALLEL MY MERCURY VESTA CONTRA-PARALLEL MY JUPITER VESTA CONTRA-PARALLEL MY SATURNOUR INFO ME 10/26/1980 11.23 P.M. Jay R,I created an image with my friend`s synastry, focused on aspects to her Chiron. It looks like they share a Grand Sextile, right? Between her Chiron, his Mercury, his Mars, his Vesta and her Moon?

Alliy,I was looking for geometry with both your Chirons; I didn`t find symmetrical geometry with your Chiron, but saw that his Saturn is quinkunx your Chiron, which is called the "Heartbreak"-clash. Here is the chart (I used my paint-program to draw the aspects; blue: trines; red: squares and oppositions; yellow: sextiles; green: quinkunxes).
You two share a Yod, which is symmetrical planetary geometry.
his CHIRON and SUN conjunct your MOON; ths triple conjunction sextiles his Juptier; and both the triple conjunction as well as his Jupiter are quinkunx your Uranus. So this configuration in your CAC includes: Chiron-Moon-linkage; Sun-Moon-linkage; Jupiter-Uranus-linkage, Chiron-Uranus-linkage, Sun-Uranus-linkage. The other aspect figure that you see there is not symmetrical I think, instead it is simple planetary synchronization of his Chiron, his Sun and your Moon being opposite your Neptune, and trine your Pluto. This includes: Chiron-Pluto-linkage, Sun-PLuto-linkage but also Chiron-Neptune-clash, Sun-Neptune-clash EDIT: I did not know where you were born, so I simply picked a place with similar coordinates. Hi Ceridwen, Re: It struck me though that in their CAC there is no classic Cinderella linkage; they do have the Trustlinkage of her Chiron quinkunx his Sun, which seems to have been elevated to a Cinderella linkage. In my opinion, as to when a Cinderella Linkage was added to the Cinderella category by the Magi Society is immaterial to the analysis of a romantic CAC. http://web.archive.org/web/20061209194659/http://www.loveoracle.com/celebritylovers/douglaszeta.htm . The fact is the Sun linkage with Chiron is a Cinderella Linkage and when you add in his Mars at 8.2 degrees of Taurus it is a Romantic Super Linkage (RSL) and that three planet alignments substantially strengthens their connection. Re Also their Romance Super linkages do not seem all that romantic in nature. I included Vesta; as I read on Magi Helena`s site, that she tentatively does so as well, but I am aware that as of now Vesta is not a permisseable element of Romance Super linkages, officially. So maybe these are not even Romance Super linkages, but simply nice super linkages. Magi Helena is a superb Magi Astrologer, however on this point I would lean towards not using Vesta as a contributor to an RSL within the Magi Astrology system, I would also not use the asteroids Juno, Ceres, Pallas or Sappho. In Magi Astrology the Chiron to Vesta linkage is considered to be in the category of Vesta linkages rather than Chiron linkages. This is a key differentiation as Chiron does not transform Vesta. It’s still a wonderful compatibility linkage that Magi Astrologers call the “Lifelong Friends” linkage, but it carries little romantic energy with it. Re: They have emotional and sexual captivations, though they seem mutual as each one contributes the same amount of Saturn. They also have some nuclear clashes, again, there is Saturn-balance. But I figure even with that it doesn`t look good. I agree, their mutual cup is full of Saturn, much of it turbulent. Re: They do have a whole lot of nice Vesta-linkages though, including three Vesta-Chiron-linkages, as well as Vesta-Venus, Vesta-Jupiter, Vesta - Moon. And they have two Chiron-Pallas-linkages. Looks like a recipe for strong compatibility. Re: This would explain to me why they are also best friends, but I wonder where comes the romance from? That feeling of having met the one? And being blissfully and romantically and passionately in love with each other? As their Super Romance linkage do not look that romantic, do they? It’s not the most impressive RSL alignment I have ever seen, but neither should it be discounted as some type of weakened contributor to meaningful romantic connection. It includes a Cinderella linkage and Mars [desire] and it is a valid sign of romantic feelings. Does this one alignment constitute the basis for the entirety of their romantic connection? Of course not. Re: What they have though is multiple sexual linkages, including a sexual cluster in the helios, including Mars, Mars, Juno plus both Neptune`s.Though I do not know how strong this would be, since there are the same planets (Mars twice) here. Mars to Mars can have a moderate sexual connotation and that multi-planet configuration is sure to generate some passion. Re: But they also have a sexual cluster in geo without Juno, consisting of Venus, Mars and Pluto. Actually they have two Venus-Pluto-linkages. This explains the sexual attraction I guess, but not the romantic one. Yes, it greatly contributes to the sexual connection. Venus is a romantic planet too and the Magi Society has said it carries some romantic connotation in linkages with Pluto. Re: Anyway, can all of this together, especially the planetary geometry of Venus-Jupiter-Neptune and Venus-Sun-Neptune explain the amount of romantic attraction they feel for each other? All? Perhaps not. A good portion of it? Yes. The RSL mentioned previously contributes too. Their first meeting chart and their ruling relationship chart also would make contributions to it as well. Re:It looks like they share a Grand Sextile, right? Between her Chiron, his Mercury, his Mars, his Vesta and her Moon? Yes

Hi JayR,I hope you have time to drop in again, your answers have been very interesting to me. I wanted to ask a couple of questions of you too. When calculating midpoints in the declinations and latitudes what is the technique, I am a little confused when say Jupiter in in the north and saturn is in the south? ie. Jupiter 1.18' north in lats and Saturn 2.18 south, where is the sat/jup midpoint? I also wanted to ask you to expand on the Juno/Saturn clash - world war clash I believe you called it? What is so terrible about it? Also does the Saturn/Chiron midpoint give a more emotional captivation/clash and the Saturn/Jupiter midpoint a more volatile bond/clash? Quite a few questions there I know. Thanks for any help you can offer. IP: Logged |

Magi astrology has been the only one that could give me a straight satisfying answer regarding the relationship with my ex. With some lovely RSL's we also had 3 Saturn/Vesta clashes (in 3 dimensions) in our CAC in which he was Saturn. Definitely & totally felt, no doubt about that. (The Saturn/vesta opposition in the geo-longitudes was part of the most significant (chiron-)geometry - (2) grand sextile(s) - in our CAC. ~ ~ The same Saturn was also conjunct my Venus in this config.) And with that.. there was absolutely NO Saturn-balance as it was *his* Saturn all the way long... for example; in the Geo-declinations also *his* Saturn contra-parallel my Moon/Mars & parallel my Venus. does anyone know of an open forum on the internet where Magi is being discussed currently? A google search brought up this thread as the most recent "google-able" result.I found this website: http://www.harmoniclife.com/ that offers free calculation of some basic linkages, but leaves out several integral Magi points (Juno, Ceres, etc). I have a lot of questions but can't afford to buy the software. IP: Logged |

Hi Ceridwen I just tried the link: http://www.harmoniclife.com/. I checked different dates of birth. Wow it's right on point. That Saturn clash..... will get you every time. Is the link really based on Magi astrology system? Hecate
