I'm new to the Forum, and as someone with a Venus/Pluto aspect in my Natal Chart, the combination has always intrigued me. In my case, Venus is conjunct Pluto in Scorpio. As one might presume, my interpersonal relationships are very much infused with themes of possession, obsession, devotion, eroticism, and crises. The only relationships (platonic or romantic) that attract me are those of depth and promise. I am extremely private about the goings on within my relationships, and dually solicitous of those I love, or more accurately, form attachments to.

Thanks for you response. I resonate with the need to be intensely and passionately in love, too. In short, a compulsion to be consumed by love and another's soul entirely. However, your inability to settle for the "casual sexcapade" leaves me feeling as though you cannot dissociate love from sex. Does this ring true?

Personally, though I don't indulge in superficiality and have an extreme aversion to lighthearted social exchanges, I cannot pass up casual sex if the sexual partner is sexually appetizing in some way. Regardless of the fact that I know the liaison won't persist past the night, if someone arouses me, it's very difficult not to engage in a night of smoldering, passionate sex. In this way, it's relatively easy to dissociate sex from love.

Gotcha. Now, what about looks-wise? Do you look at all Plutonian? I've noticed a trend of people embodying physical traits of the planet that most closely contacts Venus in their chart.

For instance, many Venus/Pluto people I know are a very dark, intense-looking bunch. Eyebrows, above all, are very defined. I myself have jet blue/black hair and deep-set green eyes beneath very thick arched eyebrows.

When I was younger I had the power struggles... I fought everyone that tried to have any type of power over me..
I proved to be a battle that would just get worse...
I had my lessons in this area..

Now I have managed the energy a bit better.. Im no so much worried about the power struggles... Even though deep inside I fear being controlled....

In romance, when I like someone.. I really really like them... I want to spend as much time with that person..
I have lost myself, many times....

I like the intensity and passion and with out it, its just no point in perusing it.

I can separate love and sex.. but I need the passion and the lust..

My relationships are also crises, and have some story behind it...

I also have a thing for secret flings... The thrill of it and the passion behind them excites me...
(I also have Uranus conjunct juno in H7)

When I care, I really care... When I dont care, I dont care at all...
Once the passion dies down.. I feel cheated and feel its time to move on..

Im terrible... terrible....

I love this aspect, it's my favourite of all my chart.

We all should try doing artworks to canalize better the bad feelings (like revenge, etc).

Probably the progressed chart had something to do with that, whilst venus pluto positive aspects are great the venus saturn negative aspects are to be avoided at all costs!

Lol. Uhm... I mean like you could do a lot of damage to each other, mostly the Venus square Pluto person can do the most damage. At first, I didn't know what it was and later would check their charts to see that there was a hard aspect between Venus and Pluto. The last guy that I met with this aspect I couldn't be in the same room alone with him. Too much excitement and intensity for my delicate sextile.

I also have the sextile and I agree with this poster. Unfortunately, I seem to attract really heavy Scorpio/8th house types that demonstrate the controlling/manipulative tendencies of the sign. I've been trying to figure out what that is in me that's been attracting them. In the very least I recognize them, and though I'm attracted to them, I feel the extreme need to resist them (my Saturn conjuncts Pluto) and run the other direction because I know that they don't actually care about *ME* they care about the obsessional part of love and sex that comes along with it and also the fact that I care about some part of them (many of them seem to dislike themselves in some way).
