quote: First, why didn't I automatically catch the 8th house stellium would be related to Scorpios?! That's a 'Duh!' if I ever saw one. I suppose it didn't click because Pluto wasn't residing there, so what does Saturn, Uranus, Neptune have to do with Scorpios if they're not aspecting Pluto (except for Saturn...)
Actually your Neptune aspects your Pluto too (because it conjuncts Saturn), but I didn't mention it because I didn't think it had as much relevance to the topic. Basically, having planets in the 8th house is like giving them an overlay of Scorpio, because the 8th house is traditionally ruled by Scorpio. The 8th house rules Scorpio type activities/issues- sex, intimacy, death, taxes, joint finances, depth of emotion, etc (that's the short list anyway). Does that make sense? quote: ...Which brings me to my next question - Wouldn't Saturn sextile Pluto be a generational matter and therefore deemed not as affecting?
No... Saturn is not a 'generational' planet. Pluto, Neptune, and Uranus are because they take YEARS to move. Saturn will go through one sign in roughly two years. It still moves more quickly than the generational planets. So yes, Saturn being where it is can be important. Plus, for you it's a very tight sextile (one degree), so that's going to give it a greater significance. quote: Not sure what that means as far as my evolution goes since Libra comes BEFORE Scorpio. Does it mean I'm regressing?
No, you aren't regressing. I fully believe that certain types of people come into our lives for certain reasons at certain TIMES. So like with Libra, you might be learning how to balance out your relationships, or how to be more diplomatic. Personally, with Pisces being in my life very heavily right now, I'm learning A LOT about my boundaries and how to maintain them and still maintain relationships with people who have fuzzy boundaries and lots of dependency on others. However, they are showing me a lot about compassion and emotional connection. IP: Logged |

Thank you enchantress! I'll have to sit on that for awhile and give a more detailed response later (if you want.) I guess I wonder why it is Scorpios love me and I them and yet fire signs and I don't seem to stick together very well.IP: Logged |

It's the Gemini (without looking at your chart). Scorpio sees the duplicity as something to unravel. It is an inconjunct relationship and with those there will often be an interest.IP: Logged |

Also an interesting take. If only I applied half as much interest and time to my studies as I do to astrology... *sigh.* IP: Logged |

Aries - Scorpio Taurus - Sagittarius Gemini - Capricorn Cancer - Aquarius Leo - Pisces Virgo - Aries Libra - Taurus Scorpio - Gemini Sagittarius - Cancer Capricorn - Leo Aquarius - Virgo Pisces - LibraThis is the list of inconjuncts, with the sign on the left having some fascination for the sign on the right, but it's not a hard and fast rule, the fascination can go either way. That is because, for example, Gemini sits on the 8th house for a Scorpio (just using whole signs). This goes in general for Sun signs, more specifically look to natal 8th house for a sign or degree limit where anyone falling there might have a special fascination for you. After writing it out I noticed you're an Aries so maybe Scorpio on your solar whole sign 8th plays into this too, in a general sense. When people talk about odd pairings in astrology, unless they're talking about semi sextile signs which will often share personal planet conjunctions (or at least personal planets mercury/venus in same sign as the other's sun), they usually are referring to signs that are inconjunct. Like one common pairing referenced here is Cancer/Aquarius. IP: Logged |

And you know what?! I've ALWAYS been drawn to Capricorns. They seem to humor me but don't really enjoy my (or anyone else's) company but they've always fascinated me. I don't know why because lord knows it isn't their spunk. I get frustrated at their boringness and yet there's a nagging in my subconscious they can probably teach me something. Ditto with Sagittarius, but not Scorpios. All this time I thought "Oh, it's my Aries sun, etc. Oh, it's my Taurus moon." IP: Logged |

^ Don't you also have Scorpio in your 5th? Which can be symbolic of those you attract and/or are attracted to (initially at least). I think if it's a pattern that there's more than one thing chart-wise that attracts them to you.IP: Logged |

It's symbolic for me. My 5th is ruled by aquarius and I attract people with a lot of aquarius influence. My favorite being mercury in aquarius. It's much fun for me. All of my houses are more or less evenly split in half, so pisces is in the second half of my 5th and I attract people with that influence as well. My mother is perfect for this, considering she has a ton of pisces and aquarius influence in her chart. Looking at my friends charts I can also see a good number of them have gemini or scorpio in their 5th house, hence they are drawn to me. I think there is something to this for sure. Might be useful to look at your friends charts (assuming you have them stored) to see where their 5th houses are and see how that matches up for you.

I did before I began using Whole Signs, which I decided to stick to. @Tautomere - I'll check it out, that's also an obvious idea I wouldn't have thought of.

You also have Moon in Taurus. Scorpio Sun opposite Moon can be very attractive and with the right mixture of other aspects, also very potent. And also, my mother is a Scorpio. Her first husband (my Dad) is a Gem and her second husband is an Aries. First marriage lasted 17 years and the second is at the 24 year mark. Obviously there's more to it than Sun signs but inconjunct Sun sign long-term relationships do happen. IP: Logged |
