Today I stumbled across this article on midpoints from cosmitec, and following quote caught my attention: "In matters of love, the Sun (SO), Moon (MO), Venus (VE), Mars (MA) and the Moon's Node (KN) are very important. If there are no midpoint combinations in the chart comparison that include these planets/points, there is no love relationship."
They are only using conjunction, opposition, square, semisquare and sesisquare for midpoint-aspects. And the orb is strictly one degree. 1°00.
Could you check if your love relationship meet these requirements? IP: Logged |

The sign placement of your Sun / Moon midpoint will reveal your overall character. The house placement of your Sun / Moon” http://www.cornerstone-astrology.com/articles/midpoints_astrology.htm third planet conj sun/moon midpoints http://cafeastrology.com/astrologytopics/midpointspictures2.html http://cafeastrology.com/astrologytopics/midpointpictures.html the *third planet* conj sun/moon or Asc/Mc could be described as weak conjunction, bit like parallels (conj) and contra parallels (oppositions) For a planet to BE conj this midpoint, necessarily the must be in *hard aspect* in the natal chart...ie: conj, square or opposition..... so you will already have a flavour how these hard aspects work and I doubt whether you will identify or feel this influences/energy. BUT like parallels if you don't have a natal aspect and a planet is conj this midpoint then it brings in another energy in How to calculate midpoints http://www.cafeastrology.com/sunmoonmidpointrelationship.html Free online midpoint calculator http://www.noendpress.com/pvachier/midpoints/index.php Midpoint lessons http://junojuno2.tripod.com/mini.htm http://junojuno2.tripod.com/ http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=17513 The orb has to be very tight 1’ or max 1’30” to be effective though

Thanks, Cappy. So for your example it fits.SaggiMC, thanks for the links. They might be helpful for people who are interested to delve more deeply into the subject. My intention for this thread was simply to verify if that equation "No such midpoints = no relationship" is really true. Personally I have found midpoints to be pretty interesting, but I thought that was a very "black - and - white- statement". IP: Logged |

My venus/merc/amor (which are tightly conjunct) is conjunct his sun/moon midpoint, and my Juno is conjunct his venus/mars midpoint. His moon is opposite my sun/moon midpoint.

Is it ok to look for these connections to Sun/Node, Moon/Node, Venus/Node, and Mars/Node mid points also?Is sesisquare the same as sesiquadrate or sesquiquadrate? EDIT: Never mind about this one. I found out the answer yes. IP: Logged |

i'm in a love relationship, and i checked my chart with my partners and this is what we have for midpoints:my sun/moon conjunct to his venus @ 0 degree my sun/venus oppos. his mars @ 0 degree his moon/venus conjunct my mars @ 1 degree the only other major one is his sun/moon conjunct my neptune @ 0 degree; this, i feel would be important because of the heavy neptune influence in my chart IP: Logged |

1. Husband's sun/moon midpoint conjuncts exact my venus and by one orb my mars.2. His moon/venus midpoint conjuncts exact my asteroid Eros. 3. his venus/NN midpoint conjuncts my venus but by two orbs 4. my sun/moon midpoint OPPOSES his ascendent but by two orbs. 5. my venus/mars midpoint conjuncts his venus by one orb. I think that is it. IP: Logged |

Its really hard to tell for me, about my Sun/Moon midpoint..I have Sun/Moon conjunct my 1 orb natally, so if someone hits my sun, they hit everything.. My sun.moon.mercury. sun.moon midpoint. Also my venus/pluto midpoint is conjunct my sun.. So for me I cant really tell the difference, since my whole set up is all together... I did check my Asc.MC midpoint which is at 2Aqua... I cant think of anyone that has hit this spot. IP: Logged |

i don't remember the rest, but one that i remember is that me and my guy have the same Venus/Mars midpoint. never found anything on it, i think it just means we are horny at the same time whenever something hit it. just joking...IP: Logged |
