YoursTrulyAlways,

I'm so sorry to hear about your mother and mother-in-law!

Really SHOCKED about your mom getting sick so young

Wish I knew how to give you a rose, too. Your life sounds hard.

I'm starting to think this 12th house Saturn stuff is pretty serious business.

Aquaguy,

How wide is your sun conjunct saturn?
Since you feel like your life is completely out of control, do you fully indulge yourself in work because you feel that work is one thing that you can atleast control and brings some-what peace to your mind? Would you say you are an extremely hard working person BECAUSE you feel this inner battle?

And also, why is it that you feel your life is completely out of control? What exactly is out of control? Do you feel you are indecisive about alot of things in a way? Perhaps you aren't sure what you want, what will happen..that's why you are afraid of many things? Like, you can't even see your life 1 month down the road, let alone 1 year..and to you, since you don't have control of your life and lost direction, you "don't know" about anything. (Am I some what correct here?) Yes, I agree you sun conjunct saturn in the 12th people need more confidence in yourself...perhaps you project it like you HAVE confidence and SAY you have confidence...but inside you lack it. Hence why you guys are just some what lost inside.

And, what sign is your sun conjunct saturn in?

Sorry for the billion questions. I'm just trying to understand this 12th house thing.

I went thru a transiting saturn through my 12th house...wow..talk about digging up old skeletons....Life was more "real"... All the "security" and "care-free" attitude I used to have are now all gone and stripped away from me.

Starry, Thanks for sharing the story about your transit!

I often felt like "a stranger in a strange world" growing up, because most other people seemed so carefree to me. Even the ones with problems.

I guess the advantage of feeling so familiar with the dark side...and I think we 12th house Saturn people do...is the ability to feel like you can relate to all the miserable people, and add depth to conversations with carefree people.

If they let your grumpy self into the conversation to begin with.

Thank you.

Yes, my life has been difficult, but I have made the most of it and created my own path.

Shakespeare said "The course of true love never did run smooth," from A Midsummer Night's Dream, and "Nothing will come of nothing," from King Lear.

In my world, you securitize the lemonade into tax-deferred collateralized debt instruments, selling them on forward margin accounts for cash settlement now, which you use the funds as collateral security on a leveraged loan to purchase more lemons

i feel out of control of my life because everytime i try to get control of my life something bad happens ,vehicle breaks down, get sick, get fired from a job, family problems. twelfth house placements are tough because bad things can happen to you because of karma in a past life, and i also think saturn conjunct sun in the twelfth makes people miss how hard i work ,like i dont get the credit for what i do

I think my 12th house Saturn mostly manifests itself through giant blind spots about my own personality that are eventually revealed to me and I then have to deal with.

Also, I am quite the loner and would rather internalize my problems than ask for help. To be honest, I love working with people, but I feel that it is very difficult for me to connect with people on a deeper personal level because I just seem so different with regards to my spiritual beliefs, view of the world, etc.

My Saturn is on the 12th cusp conjuncting my 11th house Pluto, so any type of difficulties I face tend to be transformational. It can be hard to see through the gloom sometimes though.

I was intimate with someone with a 12th house saturn in Capricorn with Capricorn sun 5 degrees from the Asc. He also has mercury, uranus and neptune in Cap. 4-5 planets in the 12th.. Sometimes I wanna run far away from this guy. Anyway...

I would describe him as... Not always telling the complete truth. He omits facts that are very important all the time. It's as if he is afraid to come clean with the reality of his careless (but twisted, mind you) actions. He is terrified of how people will react to what he has done and who he is, so he doesn't reveal the whole situation. You've got to pry it out of him. ( Or maybe that is his 0 degree libra moon?) He has HIV which he got a couple years ago when transit pluto passed over his natal 12th house uranus. It was a total surprise to him. he said he was consumed by the moment during sex, thought nothing could go wrong because its love. Totally ignorant and at the same time totally blissful. Totally 12th house.
He grew up with a father who was always getting stoned... Not sure, but he was probably distant too, at least being high all the time around your kid isn't being present at all in my opinion (drugs-12th house, father-saturn). He has told me that because of this influence he has a very skewed idea of reality.
To me, it's like 12th house saturn is having no idea or no way to understand what reality and maturity mean, and how to act that way or confront these qualities. Im guessing that they don't try to be responsible, but when they do its an uphill battle. this guy I know definitely does seem to turn a blind eye to reality, by smoking pot every day (though now, because of my influence wants to stop smoking and find clarity- we'll see how that goes) and has done a lot (in my mind) of acid from age 17-23. Lately it seems he's been turning a new page, but it could all be an illusion, though he really believes he is being more responsible. It's so bizarre.
Saturn is time, reality, authority, lessons, practicality, in neptune's house of universal consciousness and dissolving, of spirituality, of things swept under the carpet, secrets, illnesses, unconscious behavior, the subconscious, and hidden things. How could a planet like saturn express its qualities in a place like the 12th house? Of course, isolating one part of the chart is very limiting, but for the sake of dissecting it.... To me, it seems that if the person wants to activate this type of saturn energy, it will be almost elusive, like trying to catch smoke or water, for they can't quite understand reality enough to actualize and commit to practical behavior. Its like they say: "ah its fine, we don't need to fix the flat tire- whats the worst that could happen? lets do it tomorrrow" and tomorrow never comes. I think these people procrastinate too. They are sweeping reality, duty, and responsibility under the rug, to be ignored and repressed. Until pluto comes over pulls up the rug and shines a penetrating spotlight on every facet of it. Yea!

Perhaps it is neptune's veil that creates a fog of emotionally-charged mystery surrounding an objective view of reality and authority. Because without any emotional attachment to it, reality and practicality themselves are not negative nor positive. it is how the individual sees it, and to me a person's perspective who has saturn in the 12th would be that authority and responsibility dont take precedence in life. Its simply not important. Perhaps these 12th house saturn people feel wounded in some way that prevents them from stepping up to the plate of realizing they're own responsibility to life. Maybe that wound caused a negative air around these saturn qualities. Also, I find a constant theme of oppression and victim-consciousness with regards to pisces/neptune/12th house in general. Maybe they like to just dream or disregard responsibility/reality...??

This guy I know has 2-3 jobs, works about 60-70 hours a week... hello, Capricorn! However, he says all these things about his own spirituality and values and beliefs and how he wants to better himself and they all sound beautiful and wonderful and admirable, but he acts in a way that doesnt reflect what he says, and does things that could literally destroy other people's lives and emotions without even knowing it (unconscious behavior-12th house!!!) until its made known to him (which I did and now he says he is trying to find time for self-acceptance: don't know whether to yawn or believe him). Saturn is about having a backbone. Clearly my friend is very flexible, and probably so too are those with a 12th. Saturn. Pluto is currently transiting my friend's 12th house mercury at the moment. He is going through some deep deep psychological changes, let me tell you. I'm interested to see what happens when it crosses his Saturn. Pluto transiting the 12th in general though.... Holy cow thank god I won't be alive for that one. God bless you all who have survived that. Talk about skeletons coming out of the closet, especially if you have planets there. I have my sun conjunct chiron there so if pluto crossed over those in my lifetime, I'd be a completely different person after that transit. Or dead.

For those of you out there with 12th house saturn, does any of that apply? What are your thoughts? Anyone else also have close/intimate connections with someone who has this placement?

and also wanting to share this video, which in my opinion is one of the best descriptions of the placement, if not the best.

My 12H Saturn (mid stellium Pluto and ruling planet Mars) is square 10H NN and 4H SN.

Suffering person. 3 near-death experiences. I'm Leo rising, quite open and public.

I'm sure this is a sign from the universe.....yesterday I turned around and saw a sign that said 'rest'!

I'm thinking it means 'rest from overthinking' than anything else!
