The quicunx is an aspect, arguably a significant one. There are books on this aspect. I'm just not sure whether the effects would be strong with a 4-degree orb. But considering Jupiter is expansive in nature and the Sun can be allotted up to a 10-degree orb, my Jupiter probably IS aspected after all. Hopefully someone with an unaspected one will pipe up to shed some personal touch on your study.

Unaspected Moon By amiann | Published: February 4, 2012 | The Unaspected Moon may be one of the hardest unaspected planets. Pasteur was thought to have one. The moon is our deepest heart. It rules the mother, and, also our connections to others. We bond with our moon. The unaspected person is very raw in his sensitivity. This is a hallmark . One can understand the unaspected moon if one thinks of exquisite sensitivity such that the world simply hurts. This native cannot hurt others. He feels another’s pain,as if it is his own. His tremendous empathy is a hallmark. He makes an exceptional friend, but he suffers greatly, as he is almost like a sunburned soul. You know how much a sunburn hurts, as the skin is not tough enough. This describes the life of an unaspected moon. He may achieve. He may be in the limelight. However, it is always a little too strong for him, as he is a creature made for a gentler world. I don’t know if Micheal Jackson had an unaspected moon, but he has that quality as too sensitive a soul for the harsh demands of the world. ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Well, my books on unaspected planets do not count the Quincunx toward this. However, the quincunx is a wonderful aspect, one of my favorites. I could see how it would not count toward the unaspected planet, as one must work to transform the quincunx. As such, it would not really "parent" the unaspected planet. The key to the unaspected planet is that it is NOT parented i.e aspects.------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Dear Cap, Do you want to talk about your Jupiter. According to all the books on unaspected planets, the quincunx does not count toward being an unaspected planet. Please, tell me about your Jupiter, if you care to. Put up your chart and we can talk about it ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

“Semi” Unaspected Planets By amiann | Published: February 5, 2012 | Astrology is a living science. It allows one to put forth theories based on doing charts. This is how I see it, anyway. In that light, I would like to talk about planets which are almost unaspected. They may have one or two aspects. If it is one aspect, it may be a close orb.If it is two, they may be wider orbs. Of course, this is not a doctrine, just what I see by doing charts. An unaspected planet is a distinct animal, such as a zebra. It has certain defining traits. The semi unaspected planet is like a mini version of it. It has the same traits, but in less intense form. The unaspected moon is a stark placement. You will see if you read my article. The native is very, very sensitive to life, in a Micheal Jackson fashion. Obviously, this is very painful to the person. A semi unaspected moon would have the same traits, but the intensity would be dialed down a notch. The same could be said for the semi unaspected Venus. The native may not have to dig up his Venus with the intensity of the true unaspected Venus. However, the process would mirror the unaspected Venus’ journey with similar results. The native with semi unaspected planet would look very much like the native with the truly unaspected planet. By outward appearances, there is little difference. This has been my experience, to date.

The unaspected Mercury wants to imbibe words. He may collect dictionaries, repositories of words. He may collect pens, the tools of words. When he reads, he may look up words, as he wants to understand subtle meanings. The unaspected Mercury may get so lost in words that he does not understand emotions.------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Micheal Jackson–An Almost Unaspected Moon By amiann | Published: February 5, 2012 | Micheal had one aspect to his moon, a square to Saturn. His moon squared his ASC, too, but this does not count toward an unaspected planet as the ASC is a point in space, not a planetary body. However, if you look at Micheal, I think you would see an example of sensitivity too raw for this world. He was a wonderful friend to others, it is reported. He gave a lot to others, particularly children .This moon feels the pain of others to an extreme degree. The unaspected moon does not have a choice in how he is. I suppose the best antidote would be to know what one has. That way,one would not blame oneself, but take measures to keep oneself in as gentle an environment as possible.

did u post unaspected uranus already? edit: this? "The unaspected Uranus is highly creative. He will make a unique imprint wherever you may find him. He will be copied by others, but does not care to copy others. He is an independent sort.Mozart was thought to be an unaspected Uranus." hmm.. i do copy others actually. i mean mozart still probably needed to reference some of the classics of his day in order to be groundbreaking.. someone without that reference might be abit tarzan LOL! same thing with football. somebody had to invent soccer first until an unaspected uranus probably held the ball with his hands and ran to the goal. creative/ independent are yeses tho. quote: Originally posted by Ami Anne: Sure Alaz---tell me what you think!Unaspected Sun By amiann | Published: February 2, 2012 | The Sun is our identity. If one had to be defined by one planet, it would be the Sun. That is why the Sun is easiest to guess. The moon is our deepest heart. Venus is our love nature. Mars is our drive. The Sun is the you of you. One’s Sun is one’s ego. The term ego can be used in a negative way, but it is not negative. One must have a healthy ego.If one’s ego is too weak, one is self doubting. If one’s ego is too strong, one is arrogant. The struggle to find a right sized ego is a hard one. What happens to the Sun in the chart is a picture of the assaults to our ego. The Sun can represent one’s father. The aspects to the Sun can show the relationship with one’s actual father. The chart is many layered, as you know. The unaspected Sun is a unique animal. More Hollywood stars have an unaspected Sun than any unaspected planet. It is the sign of the star. However, there is one caveat. The native must bring it up from it’s buried condition. This is the same for all unaspected planets. They are buried treasure. They can stay buried. They can be unearthed, as well. The unearthing is not easy. One will be called to be an intrepid explorer, as it is a solitary journey. The unaspected Sun must learn what it means to be a person. He must learn what is his to claim and what is not under his control. His ego may be weak until he learns the secrets of harnessing it. He must learn them by putting himself out in to the world, feeling weak and incapable. He must learn the lessons of the ego, by “doing”. There is no substitute for doing . Somewhere in the process, he will discover his unique voice, more so, his unique light, as he has one that will allow him to shine above others. He was made to shine. Then, we all can admire him, for the beautiful star that he is.
Of all the interpretations I've ever read about the Unaspected Sun, I must say that yours in the most accurate, hands down. I was very "feral" in a solar way as a child -- my ego knew no bounds and I went after whatever I wanted, always succeeding, because naturally, the Sun doesn't recognize failure as an option. This gave way to a very flamboyant, extroverted, dominating personality wherever I roamed. Very, very conceited and self-satisfied.
It was when I reached puberty that I realized my Ego was completely out of control and that my larger-than-life personality wasn't welcome everywhere... I went through a few years of trial and error, and resonate very much with what you said here, "The holder of the unaspected planet looks and sees that he is indeed obsessed with the planet’s domain." With maturity, I've now come to a point where my pride remains at a healthy level, and I'm not under- or over-doing the attention-waning. It took becoming conscious of the effect I had on others to regulate this. But at the end of the day, I love my Unaspected Sun! Funny you should mention this configuration as the "Sign of the Star". I was skimming my yearbook signatures the other day, and every year, my peers would write... "When you become famous..." or "Don't forget about all of us little people..." etc. etc. I know Beyonce and Brad Pitt both have the Sun Unaspected. Side note: I have a very difficult relationship with my father. In fact, even as a child, I never wanted for him - only my mother. Any picture we have together, I'm pushing him away from me. He never took well to my ego as a child, and to this day (I believe) remains very intimidated by me -- for all the Solar virtues I embody... will, pride, extroversion. I've read that those with the Unaspected Sun have no notion of "Father" in the psyche, and must become their own father, their own authority. This rings very true for me. Never needed nor wanted my father. IP: Logged |

Can you post what your in depth analysis of the unaspected Mercury? If you have written more about it, that is. I'm pretty sure my Mercury is unaspected. It forms a trine to my moon but an 8 degree orb; it conjuncts the MC but by 8 degrees, and it squares my Ascendant but at 10 degrees. I think these orbs are probably too wide to count, and I feel Mercury's presence very much in my life. I am an avid reader, and have an insatiable yearn for learning. I am trilingual and studying to (hopefully) be a translator or perhaps get my PhD in Linguistics or Spanish Literature. People have often told me I speak eloquently or intelligently. It's difficult for me to believe them because I often feel I sound stupid or I am not really saying what I want to say--the words just come out wrong. Sometimes I am really at a loss for words; as though there are no words to properly express what I am thinking or feeling. My Mercury resides in the 9th house, in Scorpio. IP: Logged |

I know that he collects magazines. Especially specialist ones. He is intelligent and amazing with words but for some reason he is insecure about it.

Too Sensitive For This World—The Unaspected Moon By amiann | Published: February 7, 2012 | I pondered why someone like Micheal Jackson seemed to suffer so badly while others could dismiss troubles and move on.Of course, it was discovered that Micheal had severe abuse from his father, Joe. However, not all abused people react the same. That has been a thought I have pondered, for a long time, too. With my personal discovery of the unaspected moon, I have some answers. Society demands that the child grow up. However, there are some souls who stay forever childlike. The moon is the deepest planet in anyone. One does not show one’s moon in casual relationships. One’s Sun and Ascendant protect one, if one has a modicum of good sense. However, the native with the unaspected moon does not seem to know how to protect himself. He seems “out there” with his deepest heart, which should be reserved for the appropriate time and place. He does not seem to have the appropriate boundaries, as others do. The unaspected moon seems as if it is a gift to others, as he is a proverbial child caught in a man’s body. However, the toll it takes on the native seems as if he is a sacrificial lamb, of sorts. He was made for the world of children. However, the world of children is not safe, either. He was made for a world way back when before ego entered. The unaspected moon needs more ego. The ego is the Sun. His Sun does not shade his heart from the assaults. If the Sun does not dominate a chart, all sorts of problems emerge. The unaspected moon shows this dynamic, very clearly.

I have an almost unaspected moon. It is not a truly unaspected one, Thank Goodness. I have a 7 degree conjunction with Mars and a 6 degree trine with Saturn. The almost unaspected planet is a less intense version of the truly unaspected one, in my opinion.------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/
