...usually I'm not completely useless at interpreting natals or transits, but now I'm lost. I believe that this is the love of my life, extremely karmic relationship. We have moon on asc/moon on desc and my neptune is conjunct his venus exact - it's really hard for me to see who he is. I know that this is a difficult time for him. His vertex is opposite my sun/ven/mars stellium and he met me during a time when his vertex was active. So friends, long story short: what do you see?

I'm pretty useless at interpreting charts but I just want to throw in a word of caution about Venus conjunct Neptune.I have Venus conjunct Neptune natally. So my Venus was conjunct the Neptune of all my classmates, more or less with everyone my age. I've had a lot of experience with this! Usually Neptune is crazy for Venus in the beginning...but you might find yourself doubting Venus's sincerity over time or thinking he doesn't see YOU for who you really are. You might think he loves his idealized concept of you...not YOU. Neptune usually breaks it off, according to my reading (and experience.) I married outside my generation to get away from this problem. I don't mean to be negative, I just think you get more out of a relationship when you know what's what. Good luck! IP: Logged |

You had a very good chance to meet someone special at age 14. Next chance isn't until age 46.IP: Logged |

Thank you so much Faith! It was in fact me who broke it off. I did the same thing in the past, since trust does not come easy to me - I'm very plutonian. But I always came back and probably will this time, if only to be friends. I do love him deeply, I never knew what true love meant before this.IP: Logged |

Awww! I know true love can overcome all the problematic stuff in synastry...and with Venus/Neptune the ball is in NEPTUNE'S court, usually. So that's good. For you! IP: Logged |

this should be in PR forum. Prob best to post your chart and syn bi wheel as Mods will prob move...Basic astrology forum, How to approach Synastry http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum12/private-jjLYZw161/HTML/000667.html To enter this forum you need an extra password – astrology…. Please remember to reduce the orb ratio down to 40% (ONLY for syn bi wheel) as the max orb between planets is 3'. To enter this forum you need an extra password – astrology….Composite should be 85% orbs when you get this chart, please also post the *pdf file*, above left of chart look for *view additional tables (PDF)* This will bring up 2pages –at a glance planet to planet. Scroll down to last page and *aspect grid* (ONLY for syn bi wheel) THIS is very important as it seems to show more aspects than is visible on the bi wheel… problem is uploading to photobucket you have to change this from abode format into a picture. This is done by getting the relevant page/grid/bit in front of you,on screen then( if bit big press ctrl and - to reduce image). the press ‘prtsc sysrq’ - top row inbetween pause break and F12. This has copied to clipboard. Paste into Paint or some other photo software. Crop the picture and save to hard drive, then upload to photobucket, select chart press IMG and past link into thread.... done ------------------ I love the parable, “If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day, BUT if you teach him how to fish, you feed him for life.” IP: Logged |

You can get an immediate chart interpretation from astro.com. From ‘free horoscopes tab look for free 'personal portrait' or ‘astroclick portrait’ interpretation of a natal chart in the free horoscope section, you simply put the cursor on a planet and it brings a pop up box to explain what it means to have a planet in that house and any other aspects it has to natal planets. plus a six month free transit report in 'short report' Robert Hand gives a valuable in depth explanation of transits here – only slight objection I have with astro, is they use orbs of upto maybe 10' approaching, exact and departing. So most transits seem very long in effect. I use more realistic orbs of 1' approaching, 1' exact and 1' departing. http://www.khaldea.com/ephemcenter.shtml If you want to learn how to use an ephemeris try here.. http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=42496 here is my favourite online ephemeris which plots where the planets are for hundreds of years...

Thank you Saggi! As I've said, I am not a rookie. I was asking about this man, because I cannot SEE him right now. It could be because of the synastry, or because I care so much.So here's hoping for this thread not to be moved. There are dozens of threads on boyfriends/relatives/celebs in this section, right? And you guys can just pick an aspect and I'll explain it in great detail Venus, yes! Here's the synastry:

How do you deal with the pluto opposition venus mars and sun? Are there alot of power struggles? Also the moon square the sun, mars and mercury looks to be really difficult? And do you find saturn opposing moon to be pretty suffocating at times? This is probably going to be a guy you learn lessons from, probably won't last that long. Your opposition and squares are really difficult aspects, and it's not going to pan out well in the long term imo. IP: Logged |

A lot of power struggles. I 'should' be the submissive one, since it's his Pluto opposing my personal planets, but each and every time I go down in flames and refuse to submit. Plutonian. quote: Originally posted by mintgirl123: Also the moon square the sun, mars and mercury looks to be really difficult?
I think it's mitigated by the fact that the moon is on the ascendant. I've read somewhere that this aspect alone trumps a lot of difficult other aspects - I'll have to search for the exact quote. The mercuries clashing is more of an issue, really. quote: Originally posted by mintgirl123: And do you find saturn opposing moon to be pretty suffocating at times?
I am Saturn I find Moon foolish (as in not cautious, possibly insane) most of the time. I'm on the inside...were you talking about the Aries's lessons? Thank you for the reply!

Found the quote and the article - it's from astrology for the soul, by Moses Siregar III. The article really is very good as it explains why one shouldn't look for entirely harmonious synastries and lots of other things. Not that I'm a big fan of karmic relationships. quote: When these sorts of conjunctions occur, particularly Moon-ASC, it can give people a very high degree of compatibility and connection, even if other influences are really difficult. I've often seen people with almost all of their planets in disharmonious relationships, but then they have Moon conjunct ASC, and they stay together for a couple of decades or so. Moon-ASC almost, though not entirely, acts as a cancellation of other hard influences. [/B]

nNeptune conj cVenus - there is your culprit Every Neptune connection is fundamentally platonic and spiritual, and that's why these relationships are often seen as one-of-the-kind,true love, etc. However,it is very hard to sustain it if one of the parties doesn't react well to Neptune energy.
