I have Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto in my 12th house (Jupiter is already in detriment through being in Virgo): so the rulers of my 8th, 9th and 11th houses are in my 12th (the ruler of my 12th house is also in my 9th).
Being a mere novice, I have to figure out what this would mean... any tips?

The 12th House person feels set apart from others, by the pain. The hardest part of all this is finding a person who can bear the pain with you, and not try to fix. You know all the fix’s. You have tried them all, to no avail.

Though I am not a 12th House person, I had to comment on how insightful your article is. I resonated very much with the above quote - it is very telling of my immediate family and the events that shaped my childhood.

My father has the Sun in 12th, mother has Moon in 12th, and brother has Mercury in 12th. (I just now realized how uncanny it is that Sun=father, Moon=mother, and Mercury=siblings... Wow, how's that for an a-ha moment?)

I'm home-free of any 12th House placements myself, so naturally, I felt very out of place growing up in a household of overtly emotional and self-pitying people. I have heavy Leo/Sag/3rd House influence in my chart, and could never understand why they could not "get themselves together"! Now that I'm older and able to empathize, I attempt to help them out of their misery.

My Moon in Gemini wants to objectify, discern a solution, and get over it. These folks can't seem to "just get over it". They love to wallow in their depression, and it's a lesson I'm learning to "just let them." I will NEVER understand 12th House issues; it's just so sad to think they are limiting their existences by not grabbing life by the reins as opposed to life grabbing them by the balls. In their eyes, they've been through the ringer and are entitled to their emotional expenditure. I've come to find it's a need for them to be depressed, to self-pity, and then claw their way out, on their own terms. I personally don't think a 12th House person can function or co-habitate with a non-12th Houser, because they are so far removed from reality.

I have Neptune conj. IC, a.k.a. Family of Neptunians, which is to account for all of that ^

And to SaggiMC, check your endless amount of resources that quite obviously are not educating you adequately, because 12th House is most certainly synonymous with depression, to the extent that one could say it has depression written all over it.

it definitely does cause depression or atleast it can, i'm an aqua sun and capricorn saturn in twelfth, as i said in an earlier post i can feel totally alone in a room full of people, but at the same time i have this paranoia that all eyes are on me, while at the same time feeling invisible like no one would recognize my absence if
i was to disappear , i would have already gone insane if i didnt have my sense of humor

Saturn and Jupiter in 12th house.
Ruler of 12th house is Mercury which is in 10th house.
Ruler of 3rd house is in 12th house
Ruler of 4th house is in 12th house

I am prone to depression... but the worst thing about depression for me is that nobody knows, not friends not family. I am good at hiding things. Whenever I just lie in bed not doing anything, yeah, that's when I am broken... and the emotional sickness becomes real illness, then I get my family to get food for me. :P

Then I have to pick myself up myself.
Life goes on..
and at its worst... I'll ask God why not just end it for me.. cos this Leo is too full of pride to have her life ended at her own hands.

Then miraculously, I have this Aunt, who will always call me the next day whenever I have crazy thoughts like these.. Always. I guess she is my Jupiter in 12th house angel.

That is very much how i feel as well. I have my cancer moon in the 12th. So ruler of my 12th in the 12th.. And a lot of the time i feel like my emotions are exposed to those around me so i actually put more effort into trying to conceal them because i feel so vulnerable. I suppose for me its better to be misunderstood rather than vulnerable.

That made it possible for me to go on, today, as I wanted to write something else, and I started feeling foolish!

You're very welcome!
No thoughts are ever foolish as it is a reflection of the way you see the world around you, and in turn, a reflection of yourself. No one could and should deny you, and others who share the same sentiments, of that... Sharing is caring! I'd love to see more of your posts.

I love this article,it explains how I feel.I have 6 planets that progressed in my 12th house:sun, mercury, venus, mars, uranus & neptune.People say that I'm like a ghost because I'm too quiet. My best friend has a scorpio moon & I feel like she's the one that gets me.I get along best with water signs.
My 1st house ruler is in the 12th & my 12th house ruler is in the 1st.What does that mean?
