Saggi~Beautiful pics!

Faith~Your ex sounds like my brother (who is also a virgo). His house is filled with medieval items, swords, crystals, etc.

My husband is a pisces, and the ONLY artist he seems to like is Thomas Kinkade, lol.

This isn't "art" in the classical sense of it being a painting, but THIS is the kind of art I am into.

link

There was this one artist I found over a year ago that did this absolutely mesmorizing surrealist paintings, but I have since long for got his name and have not been able to find his work.

Tautomer~That was creepy, yet beautiful. For some reason it reminded me a bit of the movie "Melancholia", the one with Kirsten Dunst.

Faith~Hmmm...Maybe you could get him to hoard items with historical value? Tell him they're an investment, lol. As for Kinkaid, I just like to tease my husband by telling him the houses in his paintings always look like a huge fire is raging inside.

He has Sun/Moon/Mercury/Neptune/Pluto in Gemini and ASC. Leo (right on my Sun).

He also has his Pluto pretty exact on his Sun/Moon midpoint, like myself.

In my case; I have Mercury right on my ascendant and a Neptune/Saturn opposition which squares my Merc-asc/desc axis.

wow neptune/saturn conjunct desc?
I think that picture fits those placements very well

sticking to the underwater theme, i have a lot of water placements

this photo reminds me of my scorpio sun-mars-pluto conjunction in 8H. it's intense, and gives a rush of anxiety.

Escher for life! I love his Eye, and Three Worlds, and Relativity obviously.

I love Dali's ideas and I love surrealism, but there's something missing for me about the way he does his stuff. I don't really know how to pinpoint it.

When I got married 19 years ago, my wife and I commissioned replica paintings as part of our wedding gifts to each other. Unbeknownst to each other, we chose Van Gogh replicas.

My wife has always loved sunflowers since young because she grew up in the South.

This painting hangs in her study.

My wife chose this painting for me. She remarked that this is appropriate because of how unique I am compared to everyone else (note the single white flower)

This painting hangs in my study.

I got an actual sized replica version (its really rather small) of this painted for my eldest son. He has it in his bedroom.

My youngest son has this in his bedroom. Its also rather small because its an actual sized replica.

Ow sorry, I wasn't clear enough..
so;

Mercury almost exact conjunct my ascendant in both Virgo ("Virgo" seems to have *something* with Escher )

Neptune at the bottom (near IC)
opposite
Saturn at the top (MC)

and both square my asc/desc axis (so if you would count the desc. it would be a grand square).

And yea.. I definitely see it all coming back in Escher.. for ex. I can't feel one thing with the pics of SaggiMC, but I guess not that strange in light of these placements.

A lot of people brought up another idea for this thread. You can pick art that relates to Your 0wn chart OR You can pick any artwork you like and describe your Synastry w/ the Artist.

Ok here goes!! Now, i dont know any of the artists... but these are some paintings i chose.

This one, it just reminds me of me when i was a little girl. A baby gemmy!! I love outside, trees and fresh fruit, especially peaches lol

-------------------

This one reminds me of me now. My gemini part, im facing forward, going, gone. Yet a part of me does look back.

--------------------

Another Gemmish one! Its all the same flower, but in diffrent moods

---------------------

This baby here is pure my Cancer moon!!! No more words needed.

-----------------

My venus in Aries is right here. That lil boy... lol idk what hes doin there. But the girl represents me!!

------------------

Im not sure what part of this is representing.... i just like it!!

---------------

Now, i have nothing Aquarius, exept friends!!! But this was just so pure AQUA i simpley couldnt pass this up now could i?

--------------
