I dont think signs on their own show artistic
talents but the nature of planets in signs can show it.Venus,Mercury,Neptune in Pisces would definitely show artistic nature.Placement of planets in houses are also important- 5th,12th and 3rd houses.IP: Logged |

There is no common denominator. There are all kinds of sun signs, moon signs, house placements and so on.Fyodor Dostoyevky had his Mercury in the 12th house in detriment AND retrograde.

A good friend of mine is a well known artist and she has Neptune in the 10th conjunct mc. She makes a LOT of money from her paintings. Don't know all her other aspects offhand, but I do remember that one.IP: Logged |

I got to art school haha
My moon is in taurus and my ascendant is in cancer.
Pisces is probably one the most extremely creative signs, you need to have attention to detail, so virgo would be great artists too. Many famous artists were pisces. From my experience anyone with dominant neptune will be artistic in some way. but on the other hand mars and pluto would be able to finish any art work. What I noticed about pisces is lack of time management skills, and hard work so their art is never at its best level.
I've looked at my artistic friends charts Ive noticed
a balance of neptune, venus and pluto or mars. With dominant 5th and 12th house with 10th house midheavens. This also includes myself

No, these aspects are taken from the charts of successful artists. It would be interesting to know why these people succeeded. But as a student from art school I've looked at many of the charts of other students and mostly did not see any of this. Maybe I'm biased because I want to be a successful artist but have none of the requirements? Except for the strong fifth house that unfortunately includes Saturn.

^ saturn is a good planet for artists, Hard work is key if you practice you will get better, if you give like blood sweat and tears for your art it will show up. With saturn you might be a little afraid to take risks because it may ruin your piece and all your hard work, but experimenting and taking risks are so important. IP: Logged |
